Disappointed
I have contacted the hotel directly due to a number of things not being to the standard we would expect. The room was dirty and dusty, the doors across the hotel all slammed shut very hard which meant sleep was disturbed, we didn’t receive promised complimentary items.

Disappointed
Booked as surprise for daughter, supposed to be a distress break, spoilt by being inundated with phone calls to book evening meal, even called my daughter, break spoilt, cobwebs in room, massage booked cancelled twice by staff not turning up

Cosy welcoming hotel
We really like this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We liked our room and it was cosy too. We thought the newly renovated dining room was delightful but would have appreciated stronger lights so we could read in the bar area. A lovey stay and hoped to return soon.

The grounds are nice and the area wonderful.
The rooms are on the small side and so are the bathrooms but the bed was very comfortable and had some nice touches. Tea and coffee and biscuits.
The menu wasn’t great but what we had was quite good.

Fabulous and friendly
Very friendly staff made this a thoroughly lovely experience. From the glass fo wine handed to you on arrival, you are left with the impression that the staff simply can't do enough for you. Excellent food in the restaurant (supper and breakfast) with prompt service thoughout. Even thought this was only a business stay, I would highly recommend this hotel to people visiting the area.

One man and his dog
Two night stay with my dog, enjoyed my time at the hotel until checking out, when the receptionists rolls her eyes when you question something or when you ask for a quick check out and just forward the receipt but she wont do it because its easier for her to do it then.. well it taints your stay a little. Apart from that, all good

This may be the first hotel that I have stayed at with complimentary drinks at reception and then also in the room. A nice touch!
Rooms are clean, well appointed and have everything you need, want and works.
