"The best thing about the hotel is the owner: incredibly friendly! He spared no effort to make my stay pleasant. I was chauffeured to the train station several times for free and was allowed to use his personal e-bike for free, because apparently the many e-bikes that were previously available for rent are no longer available. That deserves 5 stars! Otherwise, not everything is perfect. The hotel does have a well-kept garden, but it's not very relaxing due to the road. The room furnishings are old but OK. Everything was clean. Breakfast was mediocre, typically Italian: lots of sweets and, apart from fruit, hardly anything healthy."

"We had an amazing stay at Terra Muronis! The room had everything you needed. The bed was so comfortable, slept like a baby! It was spacious and clean, the shower was very powerful, the Wi-Fi and TV was great, but having a sauna in your own room is absolutely a lovely touch! Breakfast was only a few feet away in a lovely bar, great choices. Parking is available very near by! The hospitality was 5 stars, thank you so much Raffaella. Highly recommend this wonderful b&b!"

"The Grand Hotel Telese looks the part. An old grande dame of a hotel with lovely entrance and great hall. It was good for kids, lovely pool and the receptionist was warm and friendly. The rooms were fine and clean. Dinner let it down badly. There's only one place to eat on site, and no one was around to take our order, despite having booked a time and it being quiet. When the food came, it was bland and missing ingredients you'd expect from the dish as described on the menu. When we raised it with the service staff, we could see he was afraid of the chef and when he eventually told him, the chef tried to argue the case rather than accepting his error. We ended up ordering off the kids menu as there was clearly no interest in making things right. I left a message for the manager that evening. At checkout the next morning, he showed little interest, and when I raised the staffing issues and the food directly, he defended his team instead of listening. Decent hotel on the surface, but poor training, and the food was genuinely shocking."

"It took them 5 hours to put towels that were missing for the second person (they had only put towels for 1 person), even though we complained twice... On Saturday, at 10:30, breakfast had already been removed despite it being the same on weekends until 11:00. The pool, at the end of May, was still not in operation, although nothing was written when booking. And despite having few customers, they put us in a room facing the road with hellish traffic! The only good thing was the anti-stress massage at the SPA.... And the hotel is beautiful..."
