The traditional architecture and selling are outstanding : you feel like you are in a palace. Abdoul is a wonderful host: genuinely caring, attentive, kind and considerate. He arranged everything for us to our satisfaction nothing was too much trouble. However many days you have in Fez, this is your best choice. Highly recommended !

Riad in the beautiful and safe part of Medina, very classic and elegant. Rooms big very clean and with classic furnitures .Near to very interesting place. Abdul organizes tour and guide visit in fez meknes and other historical inportant place. We are very happy for our holiday choice !! We think we ll return soon

This is a beautiful riad in a convenient location in Fez. My husband and I stayed 2 nights here. The manager, Abdul, was very helpful and kind. Abdul, greeted us at our car drop off and helped carry our bags back into the riad. He gave us a tour and recommendations of things to see in Fez and wrote on a map. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was very large and had beautiful tile and a wood carved ceiling. Bathroom was room and included a soaking tub. We were disappointed that the jets in the jacuzzi tub did not turn on and there was no stand up shower. To shower you need to sit in the bath tub and hold the shower sprayer. Breakfast was delicious and staff even served us late even though we slept in and missed our time. The pool on the rooftop was lovely. Birds flying over head and even drinking out of the pool. They provided towels and sun hats. There is an elevator that can take you up to the roof so you don't have to walk up stairs. The riad did our laundry and brought it up to our room in a basket since we had a lot after coming back from the desert. Lovely staff and facilities. Would recommend. What we would do differently is hire a city guide at the riad. We made the mistake of being taken advantage of by an official looking "guide" outside of the blue gate who swindled us. When we told Abdul, the manager of the Semlalia he gave us a big hug and was very sorry to hear we had a scarry experience in the city. We should have definitely taken his advice in not speaking to anybody who approaches us on the street. Only speak to shopkeepers for directions.

One of my favourite and gorgeous hotels/riads in all my travels! The service was impeccable. The breakfast delicious. The beds were so comfortable. Abdelali checked us in and Hamad checked us out. They were generous and gracious with helping us navigate Fes. We loved them & they really took care of us. I left behind a necklace & Abdelali was so helpful in helping with the logistics. I would highly recommend this riad.

We just checked out after 2 nights in this wonderful Riad. We had an amazing experience. People there did their best to make us comfortable in every way you could think of. The Riad is really beautiful, full of details. The bedroom is cozy. The bed is very comfortable with beautiful and good quality sheets. Everything inside is very well taken care of. We highly recommend Semlalia Riad!
