The Old Quay House Hotel
"We love this hotel but unfortunately no parking. The nearest car park was about 15 mins walk away. Also no lift & many stairs. We had an upgrade so had half a view of the river which was nice. Our ensuite was down six steps. My husband fell in the shower as no shower mat, (he was ok!) so I asked reception for slip mat, supplied promptly. Breakfast was good but I had the Eggs Benedict and the eggs were excellent but chef did not toast the muffin or maybe it looked at grill! This spoilt my breakfast as it was like eating eggs on bread! Told a staff member who offered me something else. It was not busy at that time , 2 other couples . Despite this I recommend the hotel. A drink or 2 on their patio with a good book is the best place in Fowey! Staff were great, friendly but not overbearing. Lovely comfy bed & decor. I would stay again but only on first floor regardless of cost."

"Great hotel with great location Fully recommend as business travel"
Harbour Hotel Fowey
"Really lovely stay at the Fowey hotel. Amazing view amazing staff. Fowey is the the best. Get on!"
The Safe Harbour Hotel
"This is a great place to stay while you're exploring Fowey. The location is unbeatable; just a short walk down past the beautiful church to the main street and harbour. Our rooms were comfortable with spotlessly clean bathrooms, and the breakfast is plentiful and freshly prepared."
Fowey Hall Hotel
"After visiting 4 times before the renovations I was excited to return with my family and show them one of my favourite hotels . I was in one of the new rooms that was great , huge bed and great housekeeping . My daughters family were in a suite in one of the older rooms , the housekeeping was not great as the room was not hoovered at all during our stay . My daughters request for a firmer pillow was ignored by 2 staff members who passed the buck to each other and nothing was done ! The food was definitely not as good as it used to be and lovely little touches like the newsletter at breakfast were no longer . The staff are very friendly but the service is poor . On each of the 3 mornings breakfast food and drinks were missed from our orders after a long waiting time . We ate in the restaurant for dinner and on seating us the stressed but nice server told us you need to bear with me im on my own ! Finding a staff member to serve you a drink at other times was difficult . If you wanted a drink by the outdoor pool there was no one around to ask . Out grandaughter went to the bears den which was lovely for her , however its advertised that children up to 8 can go there , if you booked the trip on the premise of enjoying some child free time then its only suitable for 6 years max , there was nothing for a nearly 8 year old to do . He lasted an hour! However he loved the cinema and games room and we felt safe letting him use these for short periods unsupervised. We loved using the spa , however again it fell a little short of our expectations, the outdoor sauna wasn’t turned on or ran out of steam water , the hot tub was cold one day and literally boiling the next , spent time having to find people to report it too . Cups left on tables at 9.30am were still there at 6.30pm . I still love this hotel but were disappointed that it fell short of the luxury that it advertises especially the food and service were disappointing ."
