Location: Minutes away from Gem museum if you are taking the red line bus. It's located right beside the kawaguchi lake. Room: Very very big room enough to lay 5 futon if require. Furniture looks dated but functional and the room is kept very clean and tidy. Needs a physical key to access the room though. Has view of Kawaguchi lake and Mount Fuji by the window. That itself is already worth the money paid for. Food: Booked the room with Dinner and breakfast included and I would recommend anyone that books the place to do so as well, very sumptuous spread and delicious too. There is onsen within the hotel too with indoor and outdoor pool. Highly recommended for anyone considering a hotel in kawaguchi.

Food was incredible, onsen experience was quite good. Only problem were the hotel rooms - the mattress was quite hard and the bathroom wasn’t in great condition. However overall experience was pretty good, we didn’t spend too much time in the rooms and really need to emphasize again how great the food was.

Room is spacious! We drop our bag for storage in the morning and it was brought up to the room by the time we returned to check in. The staff explained everything in breakfast menu in detail (I have allergies so this is highly appreciated). No view of Mt Fuji from the room but step out and it’s right there behind the hotel. Also interesting experience wearing Yukata despite not having enough time to check out the hot springs. Will return!

Right over the road from lake kawaguchiko gave a nice view, however the back of the hotel which is where our room faced was also a parking lot which invited a bit of noise. On the topic of noise the rooms do not keep the noise in well, we were kept up until midnight with the sound of people walking, doors creaking, doors slamming, and just the conversation in the next room over and also the some random banging. The hotel is showing its age, which is unavoidable unfortunately so the carpet was a bit old which I thought gave the room a musty feeling, hence opening the window to the noise. Like the pictures show the hotel also has tatami floors in some rooms, which is what I thought we were getting but alas just a standard twin room European style even the toilet was European this really stole from the traditional ambience we were chasing. The Japanese onsen though was it’s saving grace. The bath was beautiful, indoor and outdoor options with a Yukata provided for free use.

Great place to stay when climbing Mount Fuji. The onsen on site is a real standout! The room was very large. The bathroom facilities were slightly out of date. But otherwise a fair stay!

The breakfast was very rich. Fortunately, I could see Mount Fuji directly from the room. The room was quite spacious.

The room is large, with twin beds, but it's a pity that a single bed is wasted. You can take a hot spring bath on the terrace, and there are not many people at night. Breakfast is convenient, and you can book it in advance later if it is not included in the order

The toilet, bathroom and wash basin are all separated, so they don't disturb each other. The toilet is a little small, so it's a little difficult for fat people to get in. The toilet is at the entrance, and there is a small step between the room and the toilet. If you get up at night, you may accidentally step on the air and fall. I almost fell on the first night. If the weather is good, you can see Mount Fuji outside the window. On the other side is Ke Ke Lake.

If you want to plunge headlong into Japanese life, then this is definitely the place. Tatami, futons, yukata, onsen and kaiseki dinner. The location is good, close to two stops of both the green and red bus lines. The room has a kettle and refrigerator. Quite ascetic. The duvet covers are really very uncomfortable, the blanket keeps falling out of them. Breakfast is Japanese: snacks, rice, miso, fish soup. They serve at a time either at 7 a.m. or 8 a.m., and they give you a coupon upon registration for a specific time. For a one-time Japanese kaiseki dinner, you have to pay in advance at the reception, it costs 4,500 yen. Interesting experience. The onsen is small, with one outdoor bath and one indoor bath. Free for hotel residents. It’s interesting to stay for a couple of nights, but it’s difficult to stay longer without a European breakfast (you can’t choose at the hotel) and a normal bed.
