Miyako Hotel Hakata Reviews

Great location, just opposite Hakata Station (Chikushi exit - closer to Shinkansen platforms). B1 of hotel leads to link to the Fukuoka city Subway (airport line), which is just 2 stops away from Fukuoka airport (domestic airport, able to transfer by bus to international terminal). We took Taxi ride instead from airport to hotel (10-15min) for easier convenience as my mum is a senior and we had 2 large luggages. We stayed for 6 nights over 26 Feb - 3 Mar’24 where weather was still chilly, between 2-12C, we used the B1 link (simply take lift from hotel floor to B1) almost daily to get to Hakata station/shops/restaurants - very convenient and comfortable 🙂. Room is spacious with separate bathroom and toilet. There is also onsen on level 13 of the hotel (indoor n outdoor) for hotel guests to use for free. Can rent swimsuit from the staff for outdoor pool. The hotel offers only set breakfast - continental or japanese. It was delicious and staff are ready to assist with refills of drinks. Oh, there was also MacD on B1 and Starbucks on L1, and there is Lawsons just 1 min walk from Hotel. Recommend this hotel for its location convenience to explore the city and easy access to subway and shinkansen. Housekeeping done professionally, reception and restaurant staff are polite and ready to offer assistance. Happy to stay here for first trip to Fukuoka and will be glad to return again! 👍🏻

Fantastic hotel, very convenient, just beside Hkata station. Room is much bigger than expected. I must choose it again when visiting Fukuoka next time.

A very convenient hotel located at Hakata station. The room is clean and cozy. Will definitely recommend to people who will visit Fukuoka.

Good location and new hotel. Room size considered very big in Japan. Very good facilities with heated pool, jacuzzi and indoor onsen. Staffs are very helpful considering in Japan as usually they don’t speak much English. Already introduced to my friend who is going in March. Will definitely stay again when going to Fukuoka.

Just what I had hoped for - just wish the eating choices were broader .. dinner you can’t just pick and choose a small thing only set courses

The welcome drink offered are excellent. Great service from cafe staff. The amenities are good and the quality of the toiletries is excellent.

The hotel is conveniently located near Hakata Station. Getting around in Fukuoka city or embarking an excursion trip using JR, Shinkansen, subway and bus is convenient. The service is great and the breakfast is a plus. I highly recommend this hotel for travellers, especially if you travel to Fukuoka the first time (like me) and are prepared for making a lot of trips around.

Great location, good service. Cleaning is not up to standard: tea pot and cups weren’t included in daily cleaning and with the vacuum cleaner still left inside the room when back at night.

It is so convenient and so close to the Hakata JR, the room size is alright and the facility is new and clean. Just walk from the subway and no need to afraid of rains and sunshine. The hotel staff is polite and helpful. The breakfast served is nice.
