Hotels in Changbai Mountain Wanda Resort, Baishan

Li Yucang at the front desk was very enthusiastic and informed us of many things. He also cared about our stay experience during our stay, which was really heartwarming. The hotel is in a good location, with a commercial street on the first floor and very close to the ski resort, which is very convenient. The interior decoration style of the room is simple yet elegant, and the quality is reflected in the details. The bedding is soft and comfortable, allowing me to sleep peacefully every night and relax my body and mind. This stay experience is great, and I will give priority to this hotel in the future.

I enjoyed my stay here in this ski resort. The service is superb and we have a dedicated butler who recommended us good food and nice activities. There are plenty of things to do here - ski, snow mobile, hot spring, water park etc. The ski slope is just a minutes walk from the hotel. The negative part is that though we were provided a smoke-free room, we can still smell cigarette smoke at the corridor, and sometimes in the room.

I was struggling between Sheraton and Westin, and finally chose Westin. Its twin room is 1.35 meters and quite spacious, which is friendly to families with two children. They called to inquire about my needs before check-in, and put all the children's equipment in the room early. They also told me that my check-in time was my birthday🎂, so they decorated the room and sent me a cake, which made the ceremony feel full. The concierge is Ming, Xiao Xing, and the service is good. When they learned that we were going to Tianchi in the morning, they took the initiative to ask for a taxi for us🚗. After breakfast, the car was waiting for us, which saved us a lot of time with 2 children. Another point is that the hotel has its own snow house, and the elevator can go directly to the negative 1 floor. It's so convenient! You can slide back directly when you come back

The room r clean as what we pay for. The amenities is share basic for the onsen need to be pay services charge for the towel, kids above 140 subject adult surcharge! Hidden cost compare to other hotel which we stay before. Most important is the bus shuttle provided is so limited seat and time slot!! And the service guy *** introduce us go outside hotel service such as dining in the ice room. Unhappy things happen the meat we order cannot been cook after boil more than 5 to 10min even 20min! And so many amenities which hotel have the best he told us hotel food taste average!!! The management still look into this staff!

So if you are coming here, you are going to Wanda Ski Resort. There are so many many hotels in the area that it really doesn't matter so much which one you pick. Holiday Inn is one of the furthest away from the resort, but the price reflects this. However, it is still only a 10-15min walk (even when it's cold and icy) from the resort. The hotel is busy, there will be wait for the front desk, this is why service got 4/5, but the actual information from staff was okay (no English though so god bless my Chinese partner) The hotel has a mini cinema, a restaurant and access to the ski slopes. You can hire ski's, snowboards along with all the boots and clothing required so you don't need to worry about that. In the hotel is the rental place, you rent your gear and you simply walk out of the hotel and you are at the ski slopes. Please note this is NOT the same 10min walk to Wanda ski resort, the hotel has its own access to the mountain and you use that. The restaurant is fine and breakfast was a buffet with mainly Chinese but some western stuff too. The room, it's not large, but not cramped. Very warm, we even needed the windows open at -40C outside to avoid being too hot. There is a mini supermarket in the hotel, but a better 24 hour store across the road. I think for the money paid compared to other hotels, its very good value. Maybe other hotels have bigger rooms or more restaurants, but as every hotel is next to each other, I wouldn't bother paying more to get one closer to the resort as you can save thousands of RMB for a 1 min walk. And as most of your time will be spent in Wanda ski resort, you won't be in your room much. I doubt I would return to Changbaishan / Wanda Ski resort as an area, but if I did, then as long as the value was still there, Holiday Inn Express is a good enough choice

Excellent services and really nice location to the piste. The restaurant by far the best of the valley and the yoga course really good to improve your mood and your body after a ski sessio. . I really appreciate the staff who was considered and helpful with. Special mention pour David always available. I recommend this séjour

I was very satisfied with my stay at Hyatt Regency Changbaishan. The hotel has an excellent location and is the closest hotel to the ski resort on the commercial street. The hotel staff are very professional and friendly, especially Alisa at the front desk, who is very enthusiastic. I will come to Changbaishan again and choose Hyatt again. The food in the Grand Hyatt series is also excellent, and the breakfast is superb!

The staff at the ski resort provided excellent guidance and support, making it easy to enjoy the slopes. Overall, my stay at the Park Hyatt Ski Resort in Changbaishan was nothing short of magical. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway in the mountains. I can’t wait to return!

The hotel is at the intersection of Wanda Town, next to Changbai Mountain Grand Theater, and has a good location. The room is very small. The price probably includes the ski ticket, but I was too tired when I came here, so I didn't use it, so it was a waste; The hot spring is good, but it would be better if there was a bath; it's nice to take pictures of the snow in winter, but it's too cold outside, so I didn't dare to try; Although the facilities are old, the main thing is that there is no ”do not disturb” item. I was disturbed late at night and early in the morning. I told the front desk, and the woman on duty didn't even offer any comfort; let alone warmth and thoughtfulness; The breakfast is very ordinary, the noodles don't even have a sauce, and a big brother had no choice but to take the noodles with water to the side to pick up vegetables and cover the noodles. Wanda has many hotels, and the service quality should be improved first

Value for money: In the scenic area, the price is quite suitable, and the portion is moderate and large. It is really too much for 2 people to eat. Just go into this store and have a look, but the food is delicious and affordable, which can keep people. When you go out to eat, it's up to you to decide how much you want to spend. The store also has hard dishes that cost about 100 yuan. You can order them according to your wallet. Many basic dishes in the store are really affordable and delicious, and the prices are friendly and don't turn away customers, which is great! [Skiing] 1-The ski resort is not big. It is very friendly to beginners, and there are good routes for intermediate players to practice. Advanced players may find the black trails less exciting, but fortunately, the park props are well designed, and the forest trails are great after snow. I skied for two days and still felt unsatisfied. It's small but beautiful. 2-If conditions permit, go to the Costin ski equipment hall to borrow a board. The style is more advanced, the quality is better, and it's newer. The only drawback is that you need to return to Costin to return the board. I didn't study to go to Costin to try my luck and see the board until the third day, but I didn't use a good quality board until the third day. Hate it, I was angry about weight gain for the past two days. 3-Why do you say this? I borrowed 5 women's snowboards in the ski equipment hall of the ski town. The serrations on the bindings of 4 boards were rounded and could not be hooked. There were many dangerous situations where the bindings opened by themselves after skiing (screaming! It's fatal!)
