Picturesque Italian villa nestled among the vineyards. So beautiful. Old world charm, kitchen with coffee, tea, local soft drinks beer and wine. Breakfast included, with croissants, baked treats, coffee machine with a variety of options, eggs and crepes. The pool area was very relaxing and peaceful. Electric bikes were fun, with the ability to rent for half day. Cooking class was entertaining and fun, dining on our creations with Prosecco and wine. We must go back!!! And the owners and staff were amazing!!!

Pictures don't even come close to doing it justice. It was a dream come true--gloriously ancient buildings surrounded by vast vineyards with incredible views from all directions. I dreamed of an "Under the Tuscan Sun" experience, old-world charm with an authentic Italian atmosphere, and Borgo Argenina was beyond my wildest dreams. Stefania and Gabriele were wonderful hosts who helped with information and restaurant reservations. Sweet Paula conducted an amazing cooking class where we learned to make a delicious Italian dinner that we shared with our new friends, laughing together well into the night. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, with gorgeous views. Breakfast on the veranda was utterly delicious. I can't say enough good things about our stay there. We were so sad to leave, but know we will definitely be back!

Lovely place in a beautiful location. Our cooking class with Elena was great! Although having a pool was not a requirement when we were deciding where to stay, we ended up using it one of the days to help beat the heat. Several wineries within just a few kilometers.

We (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed in La Pieve. Our visit was perfect, with postcard views out every window of our rooms. This was a great home base for trips to Siena and Florence. We enjoyed using the e-bikes as well as hanging out by the pool. We loved the cooking class and a pizza party that was put on one night for all the guests.

Literally 15/10, cannot recommend this place enough. It was probably the cutest place we’ve ever stayed and my only regret was that we didn’t have enough time spent at the villa itself. Every single detail had been thought through, from the decor, to local wines for purchase, and I can’t say enough about the VIEWS! The hot tub was a nice touch and the breakfast was wonderful. If you are having any doubts, just book it; it’s worth every penny and we literally have nothing negative to say about this place.

A truly lovely experience in a picturesque villa in Tuscany. The room and property are idyllic. Breakfast is delicious. The owners ensured we were comfortable and well taken care of. They have great recommendations for local activities such as wine tasting and places to dine. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed running in the area. Pieve Marsina & Borgo Argenina was my favorite stay during this trip to Italy. I look forward to my return.

The property is so lovely and well maintained that you don't ever want to leave. The hosts were a sister and brother pair that were charming and helpful. Stephania arranged an on site cooking class that was my favorite experience of the trip. We had 2 hours of fun cooking ravioli, asparagus souffle and tiramisu. Then we all enjoyed 2 hours of eating and drinking in this heavenly setting.

Most wonderful holiday in Tuscany. The accomodation is beautiful, set in the Tuscan countryside but still very close to main attractions to visit. And it’s so nice and quiet here! We stayed in a two bedroom apartment as a family of four. Beds are super comfortable. And we all loved the pool to cool down. Best place to relax and unwind! We hope to visit soon again!

We stayed in the Borgo Argenina for 5 days in one of their villas. and it was lovely and everything I thought it would be. We travelled with our 17-year-old so the villa and the two bedrooms provided more than enough space for him to have his own space. Waking up to a view of the Tuscan countryside and the vineyard stretching below and around us was so good for the soul and for 10 euros a sweet delivery of coffee and breakfast was a wonderful way to break the fast. The pool was perfection in the heat. This is a great place to slow down the pace and recharge if you've been touring around as we were; especially in the heat of early July.

Myself & my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights in one of the bed & breakfast rooms. The setting is absolutely beautiful, so quiet and peaceful and the hosts were very welcoming. We used the pool which was great to cool down on hot days. We tried a couple of restaurants in the area on the recommendation of the hosts which were also fantastic. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection & hot food made to order (highly recommend the ham & cheese omelette!) We also hired bikes from the property to go to Tolaini winery which was fantastic and a great way to get about. It is out of the way and not much round about within walking distance but we hired a car so not an issue for us. The only downside were rather noisy birds outside our room in the mornings, but nothing the property owners can do about those! Would highly recommend for a romantic getaway.

From the delicious hand prepared and freshly baked croissants and cakes and omelettes and sweet crepes to the immaculate grounds, beautiful farmhouse interior and decor, this is a wonderful retreat. We rented electric bikes to bike to Castle Broglio, we drove to Locanda Del Tartufaio for a unique and wonderful price fixed truffle themed meal and enjoyed the view from our room as well as sitting outside gazing at the vineyard views. Truly a very special place! Would highly recommend!

Quaint, charming B&B in the Chianti Hills Pieve Marsina is a quaint, quiet, and charming hotel located in the hills of Chianti. We stayed for 2 nights here on our trip to Chianti. - The property is beautiful and the grounds are immaculate. The views of the vine filled hills are stunning. We took a morning stroll around the property, and it was lovely. - Gabrielle is a helpful host and is there for you to answer questions when you need him. - Breakfast was part of our room package. The cappuccinos at breakfast were some of the best we had in Italy! - Pieve Marsina has an honor system where you can purchase coffee, tea, wine, water, and other snacks during your stay. - We used the hot tub when we found out it was open. The water in the spa was rather cold and we were later charged for the usage of the spa which we were not aware was a separate charge. - Our room had a beautiful, vintage style tub, but it was a little difficult to operate to shower with, practically speaking. I would request a room with a shower if this is important to you. - We came in the shoulder season and the room was quite cold. We couldn’t figure out how to get the radiator to heat up the room. The wifi does not reliably reach the room we stayed in. Depending on your preference - this could be a plus or a minus! A chance to truly disconnect. Overall, this hotel is beautiful & has a historic, untouched feel to it. The views are amazing and we enjoyed our stay.
