Protea Hotel George King George ★★★★
"Beautifully renovated bar and pool area, lovely staff, very helpful and accommodating and wonderful surroundings of a golf course with animals running in the evening. Stunning play area for kids. Very nice food and value for money. Family has an awesome stay. Thank you"
ArendsRus Country Resort ★★★★
"My wife and I recently escaped to Arendsrus for a quick breakaway, and it was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a place that feels "off-the-grid" and immersed in nature without sacrificing luxury, this is it. The setting at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains is spectacular. The wooden chalets offer a sense of total privacy and a "wilderness" vibe that immediately makes you forget the hustle of daily life. The attention to detail is top-notch, especially the 800-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets—it’s clear the hosts care deeply about guest comfort. The absolute highlight of our stay was the a la carte breakfast served directly to our room. It was delicious, beautifully presented, and allowed us to enjoy a slow morning soaking in the views from our balcony in total peace. The hospitality was warm and genuine, and the entire atmosphere is one of tranquility and refined rustic charm. It truly is a hidden gem on the Garden Route. We left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to go back!"
Views Boutique Hotel & Spa ★★★★★
"What a lovely stay we had at this super-accommodating hotel. Great facilities, fabulous views and friendly, helpful staff."
Town Lodge George ★★★
"The room is perfectly clean, with new furniture, mattresses, and bedding. The reception staff is friendly and efficient in resolving any issues. However, I would like to address the room's design, which is very office-like. I believe that a brighter color scheme would make the room more inviting. Additionally, I feel sorry for your staff, as they are treated unfairly. The man outside is forced to stand on the porch all day to open the gate! Regardless of the weather, whether it is hot and sunny or cold and windy, he does not have a place to sit. Why don't you put him in a separate room where he can sit? And put a camera on the gate, so that when he sees a car approaching, he can open the gate. It's a simple solution! Doesn't the receptionist even have a chair? How is that possible? If she's tired or has swollen feet, how can she greet guests? It doesn't matter to the guest whether she's standing sitting. But it matters to her! Take better care of your staff, and they will return the favor! I really hope for positive changes in your hotel and for your employees!"
Outeniqua en Route ★★★★
"Nice and room, value for money. Breakfast not much choice but ok."
Loerie Guest Lodge ★★★
"Enjoyed my stay at Loerie Guesthouse Also enjoyed their breakfast Will definitely make use of them again "
Cinnamon Boutique Guest House ★★★★★
"A truly gorgeous boutique hotel…. With excellent service. A very peaceful place. Great location."
Outeniqua Inn ★★★★
"Outeniqua Inn is located on a busy road in George, and offers 7 modest rooms. The guesthouse has had it best days some years ago. Management uses old photos that do not reflect the current condition. Furnishings and decoration provide an indifferent atmosphere. Free parking on the premises. Our small room had air-co, TV high on the wall, wardrobe & safe, 140cm size bed, tea making facility, desk, and fridge. Windows can be open but do not have mosquito screens. We had a small, yet adequate bathroom with washbasin, toilet, and shower. All was clean. Between 07:00 and 09:00 an English breakfast is served: eggs made to order with bacon, mushrooms & sausage, toast, cups of butter & marmalade, tea & coffee. No yoghurt, no orange juice. Service is more interested in smartphone than in guests. Outeniqua Inn is OK for one night stay. Nearby you find better options."
Oude Berg Guesthouse - 10 Caledon Street ★★★★
"I just do not have words to thank everyone for the warmth, love and most importantly comfortable stay at Oude big guesthouse. May God bless u with more business."

Whales Way Ocean Retreat
"We stayed at Whales Way twice on our trip - once in December and then on our way home. What a lovely place to stop over at. Benji and Annie (and Benji's father) go out of their way to make the stay very pleasant. The first room was the garden room at the back - nice garden view the road noise from the N2 was not too bad. The TV is not worth watching and wifi was a little weak at times. The stay in the loft room made up for the garden room stay. What an amazing view over the sea. Breakfast was amazing. Benji and his father together made it happen and it was delicious. All in all, a great overnight B&B or even if you are staying in Wilderness for a few days. Recommended."
Interlaken Guest House
"I love this place so much. It is home away from home! The host, the rooms, the views!!! Everything is just exceptional. I will always recommend this place!"
Beach Villa Wilderness
"Amazing stay in suite 1 with fantastic views of the ocean super hosts Deon and leone. Excellent breakfast and stay."

"Three things count location, location and location. Sea paradise has that plus a lot more including a very friendly manager and staff. The athsmophere is very relaxed and pleasant. And view: I tell you !"
Fancourt Hotel
"Exceptional stay and outstanding hospitality throughout. Beautiful property, thoughtful birthday touches, and a truly memorable dinner at Amanita. One of my best hotel experiences and I’ll definitely be returning."
The Manor House at Fancourt
"The property is amazing. beautiful greenery view high privacy good location"
Oubaai Villa
Oubaai Hotel Golf & Spa
"LOCATION: 10 minute drive from airport. Short drive to fantastic Herolds Bay beach. Isolated, not many decent dining options in close proximity, not even a convenience store. Need a car to get around. Easy access to N2. 15-20 minute drive to George. APPEARANCE: Clean, neat, well maintained property. Great views. Tight security. All those vacant shops/restaurants on the ground level are somewhat eerie, especially when more dining options or a convenience store would be very welcome. ROOM (Stayed in Junior Suite with connecting Club Twin Room): ‘Club’ room is a misnomer as there is no club lounge. Large, very spacious. Seems recently refurbished, but with the old dated furniture still in place. Clean. Quiet peaceful sleep. Not a fan of the transparent bathroom petition. Usual amenities, empty shower gel dispenser not refilled. Lovely balcony view. SERVICE: Fantastic throughout. DINING: Breakfast buffet - average selection. Could definitely do with more dining options or a proper convenience store especially since the property is quite isolated. ACTIVITIES/FACILITIES: Golf course. Outdoor/indoor pool. Spa. No entertainment/activities for kids. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: Short drive to Herolds Bay, Redberry Farm. MY BOOKING AGENT: *********** Will I recommend/ stay there again? Yes"
Hildesheim Guest Lodge
"Great host, amazing rooms, neat, clean and tidy! Absolutely stunning location and beautiful views. Peaceful and serene!!!"
Cherry Berry Guest House
"Home away from home! I will most definitely visit Cherry Berry again in the near future with family."
Two Fat Owls Guesthouse
"Excellent cottage very well positioned in Paternoster close to the beach. Just a tad difficult to find as there are no numbers or markings on the unit, but once we found it, it exceeded our expectations"
