There was no obligation for them to do what they did—they did it purely out of empathy . In a moment when the world felt overwhelming, their support provided comfort, stability, and a sense of safety. I will never forget the compassion shown to me here. This is not just a hotel with excellent service—it is a place run by truly exceptional people. I am deeply grateful, and I cannot recommend them highly enough"

"The host received us with a warm welcome. Guided us to our rooms where we received it in a very neat and tidy manner. Clean towels were available as well. Extra blankets during the cold nights and hot water was always available to shower. Highly recommend a stay!"

"Hotel was great with really friendly staff, but the owners need to invest in repairing the shower and the back door in the room we stayed in. Also, George seems to have plenty of 'street racers' at night (exacerbated by last Friday of the month?) which doesn't lead to the best night's sleep."

"Beautiful little establishment in a very central location. Sam, Lorraine & Tom are the best, most gracious hosts. Wonderful views, due to it's being high up on the hill yet still walking distance to the village, restaurants, etc. Also because it's high up, there are many, many stairs (like three to four long flights) so do be mindful of this. I highly recommend TheTops."
