Customer service was abismal. Booked for a day later than required and was unable to refund nor reschedule after taking time out of my day to go down there and directly communicate with an employee, an unpleasant member of staff kindly informed me “It’s not my problem.”Despite not expecting a high quality room for an overnight stay you would expect the staff to be somewhat accommodating to prevent a poor reputation, especially from a well known hotel chain. Outrageous!

This is a follow on from my first review where I had placed one of the random chairs that had been placed in my room to the hall, the hotel accused me of stealing it and said I had to pay for it, I said they should call the police or I will to which Aksh said "whatever floats your boat" All this was because after the first week they did not service my room at all, I never told my client and unfortunately he booked me in for another week. Again they never serviced my room

All round good experience. Friendly staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Nothing too much trouble. Anything you need is sorted asap. Ian is a friendly face to greet us and happy to help with anything needed. Always come back here when we fancy a couple of days away, great value for money.

Ian and Adin on reception were lovely and made us feel very welcome upon arrival, ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay and even offering maps and restaurant recommendations, extra tea and coffee and a quiet room at the front of the hotel for us.

Stayed overnight whist travelling from north to south of England for just one night. Lodge is located on the old Gloucester Quay which has been turned into a shopping and leisure park. The area is very pleasant and quite a nice place for a standalone visit. Car parking is in the centre and reduced to £5 per day and looks safe and secure. We received a warm welcome from the staff and the room was what I have become to expect from Travelodge, warm, clean and everything works as it should. We did not use the bar cafe preferring to use Spoons which is close by. All in all we got what we expected for a very reasonable price.

On arrival the receptionist Ian was very polite and helpful, we found all the staff the same will to help. The rooms was comfortable and clean we did include breakfast but found the choices limited for the cooked breakfast. The room had coffee and tea with milk and sugar. I would have liked a fridge in the room the weather was warm so would have liked a fridge to have some chilled water.

A no frills hotel in an excellent location for exploring the city, at a reasonable price. Comfortable bed, adequate shower, reasonably clean, friendly and helpful staff.
