I would give this hotel 6 stars if I could. Barbara and her mother Christine are very welcoming and kind. We were in Munich, and on a whim chose to drive down to the countryside and spend the rest of our time. Found and booked this hotel online. The location is fantastic! Walking distance to the train station and several cafes and restaurants. The hotel offers a nice little breakfast from 8am- 10 am and has a small bar that you may buy from on the honor system. We opted for a bigger apartment- like room (204) that was very clean, spacious and superbly decorated. The view from our balcony was incredible! This is the place to stay if you are wanting a quiet, very beautiful, laid back, relaxing place to stay!

Loved staying right on the mountain side! There are a few things located around the hotel dining/hiking which was nice as well. The natural pool was also a highlight. Would definitely come back!

This place was amazing! It has a rustic yet modern feel. Only was there for one night, but if time was available I would have extended my stay. Barbara and her mother Christine have paid close attention to the details. Barbara even sent a email to make sure our stay was going well. Can’t say enough about the charm of this place. So many different areas to relax and enjoy the scenery.

OMG! This was the most wonderful place to stay. The staff made us feel like family. We love the Bar area and our balcony was so peaceful. We didn't want to leave.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Bayern Resort. The hotel is well maintained, clean and beautiful decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Especially Patrizio the server at breakfast made everyone’s day providing superb service! The room was modern and clean. The only downsides were… 1) The SPA was closing early at 7.30pm which wasn’t described on ******* or on the Hotels website. As we arrived close to 7pm, we only had 30min after check-in to enjoy it. Would have loved to enjoy it longer as it was a beautiful SPA. 2) The checkout is at 10am which is pretty early and makes you rush with your breakfast. An extension to 11am like other hotels would make it more enjoyable! Other than, there’s nothing to complain about this property! It’s a beautiful resort in a beautiful area and very well maintained by the owners! Definitely recommendable!
