From a lovely church in the centre of the town, to a lively arts centre, there's lots to see and do in Grantham. And a stay at Premier Inn Hotel Grantham puts you right at the heart of the town. We're handy if you want to stretch those legs too, with some great walks around the Twin Lakes and in the Lincolnshire countryside. If you'd like something a bit more fast-paced, why not try go-karting at PFI Karting, or watch the races at Newark? The shops at Nottingham are well worth a visit, and Belvoir Castle is a must too. Then come back to the hotel for some lovely food at our Brewers Fayre restaurant, and a warm, comfy bed in your room.

AI Summary
The hotel's breakfast and convenient location near attractions were praised. Guests appreciated the spacious, clean, and comfortable beds, but some preferred not having air conditioning.
Best premier inn we have ever stayed at, receptionist Ruth was extremely helpful and acknowledged us every time we passed by. Very close to A1 but this didn't disturb us. The Brewers Fayre breakfast was excellent as were the evening meals, staff were kept really busy all very polite and plenty of choice in the evenings. We will be back next May. We have stayed at 2 other premier inns in the area but this definitely comes out top hence we stayed half an hour further away from where we needed to be because of the service received here.

The bedroom was 26 degrees when we arrived at about 1030pm on a day when it had been around 21 degrees outside. The window opened around 1 inch so our only option was two noisy fans - the fact that they were there suggests we weren't the first guests to have found this hotel too hot. Opening the window meant we had the noise of the A1 traffic all night; and the fans were too noisy to sleep with. As a result, I got around 2 hours sleep. Reception staff in the evening were grumpy and unwelcoming after a long queue to check in. Altogether this experience has completely put us off returning to this hotel. We'll be looking at alternatives next time.

The room was nice and clean, very friendly staff including Colin the night receptionist who is on nights, had a great conversation and kept our Friday night entertaining. Travelled with the boxing team and gave us a great history of Grantham

Greeted with a smile from the receptionist, very quick book in although the reception area is quite small especially when there were other people trying to book in bags everywhere . Room was spotless and the bed was excellent, every convenience supplied , home from home very comforting .I would definitely stay here again 👍

You know what you are getting with a premier inn, clean comfortable rooms, however the best thing at this one was the night staff. We met Colin and Brian and they were both a delight, friendly and helpful. Car park had ample space and the adjoining pub was close by although didn't stay open past 10.30pm.

The bed was extremely comfortable but the pub across the way closed at 9pm which is absolutely ridiculous. We attended a family party in the afternoon and travelled from Shrewsbury to this and when we eventually arrived at the Hotel we found that the pub was not serving drinks and was closing. Also the breakfast didn't start until 8.30am that morning because of issues in the kitchen. The lady on reception in the evening (Ruth) felt sorry for us and gave us a bottle of wine to compensate.
