It is a really nice resort-type camping - great pool, the sea with the view to St Tropez is unbeaten. Kids have great fun with all the opportunities offered. It is rather a large area, so bikes (can be rented there) are a real plus to master the distances. Overall it was very relaxing and perfect holiday destination.

We stayed in one of DS-One’s mobile homes during our family holiday. The cabin was great had everything we needed including a hot plate BBQ. The cabin was 3 bedroom in a great location, upon arrival check in was smooth and the staff were helpful telling us where to go and what was on. It was very clean, all we needed to do was unpack and relax. The wooden cover terrace was ideal to keep you out of the full sun if required. Will be booming for next year - check out Le Sun Restaurant also when you stay it’s a great spot to eat whilst enjoying the amazing view. Well done to Duncan and the DSONE team

We just came back from our 3rd year for easter holiday from a sub contractor of Prairies de la Mer. We have already started to prepare for 2026 holiday here. However, you dont need to reserve directly with Prairies de la Mer website. There are sub contractors that could give you a better deal. Shop on site, bike rental, depending on what you like to eat, there are several restaurants. From Picnic that is basicaly take a way to Le Sun thats a full on dining experience. Or you can go to Port Grimaud where there is a lot of other options. 6 km bike ride to ST Maxime (Market Friday and sunday ) or 14 to Saint Tropez. Lot of wine yards arround to visit. also Grimaud old town. We like to have a bike ride. Campsite have activities if you download the app. Happy hour from 7.30pm tp 8.30pm - Long bar. 50% discount on (most)drinks We love this place, will be back in 2026

Accommodation was clean but tired. Curtains had holes and needed replacing.I Internal seating poor. Pitch was great in a beautiful wooded area. We have been to this site many times over 40 years. The area is fantastic but accommodation needs updating on this visit

Wonderful place to stay probably the best site in France. The cabins were wonderful more like beach hut style lodges. Our cabin was clean, comfortable and roomy, with great free WiFi and a TV with many channels in different languages provided. The site was beautifully presented, with lots of palm trees providing shade. The pool area was superb, although you did have to be there for 9.45am for the 10am opening to ensure decent sun beds with an umbrella. There weren’t enough umbrellas to go round, but you could normally get sun beds at any time if you waited a few minutes. There was great security at the pool, and throughout the site, along with ample lifeguards. The team of people working at the site overall were excellent extremely friendly and helpful at all times. There were a number of very good restaurants on the site, and we found long bar nice for a few drinks on an evening, with decent entertainment, although I could imagine it being noisy in the nearby cabins. The Picnic takeaway was really good too. There were 2 well stocked supermarkets with a bakery, bike hire available and a laundrette, although we did have a washing machine in the cabin. There was a little street market on site one night which was a nice touch. The views over the gulf of St Tropez from the beach were stunning, beach was lovely in the early morning but unsurprisingly very busy later in the day! A range of water sport hire was available from the beach front, quite reasonably priced. The proximity to Port Grimaud was a real bonus, some lovely restaurants here too within easy walking distance and you can get the ferry across to St Tropez, it was c€50 return for our family of four. Definitely worth the cost as it was a lovely trip across the gulf of St Tropez with all the super yachts. The village of Grimaud with its Chateau was also worth a visit. All in all a superb site, great value for the area, and we will definitely be returning!

Before the children arrived we travelled to huts on beaches around the world… now we have 3 boys in tow, it’s a bit more of a challenge, however we have found that Praries is the closest we can get to this experience in Europe… and with so much to do around the area it might just be better! The site is perfectly located on the beach, with a lovely clean, safe environment for families. The pool is somewhat out the way but not a problem as you can spend a day there easily. The restaurants and bars are fantastic, decent value for money and brilliant quality. The staff are welcoming and friendly too. Can’t fault the place and will be booking again as soon as the bookings open for next year… our 7th time

Just back from a fantastic 2 weeks at Prairies de la mar, highly recommend to families looking for a touch of luxury, and let’s get this crystal clear, this is absolutely not a ‘’camp site’’ it is a high end resort, and you pay for what you get! The cabin was very centrally located, about a 2 min walk from the beach, entertainment area and 5 mins from the pool. Cabin was clean, modern & had everything we needed for a family of 5. Very good mix of holiday makers including French, Dutch, German & English. Very few Irish when we were there but probably because this was August. We will definitely come back. Highlights Teens Club – Our two older boys had a fantastic time at the teens club, the leaders of the club were fantastic and they had great fun meeting people from all over Europe. The trips they went on were memorable including parasailing, bowling, banana boat, paddle boarding and kayaking as well as other events on site including a BBQ – thank you so much to the teens club from Sean and Flynn. Ecole des Champions – Our youngest did a week’s soccer camp with Rene, tough going in the heat for an Irishman but Rene was fantastic and our son had so much fun. Entertainment – The evening entertainment was high end, this is no Eurocamp cheesy entertainment, this was bands, djs and musicians all of whom were top quality. Cleanliness of the camp – all throughout the camp the common areas were kept clean all the time. Other People staying on the site – No riff raff on site = no problems, this place attracts a certain type of clientele – no big gangs of people wearing football shirts & lairy beer drinkers. Staff – very friendly and helpful Beach – we used to go to the pool in the morning & then beach in the afternoon, the beach to the left of Tangerine is the better beach as its sandy and easy on the foot going into the water, we used to love our sundowners, the view of the bay of St Tropez was unreal. We also loved our Maxi Beignets, if you know you know. We got up one morning and did a sunrise swim, unforgettable! Breakfast – Breakfast in ‘’The Sun’’ was excellent. Picnic – Great sport for take away/sit in food, really quick service, although very skimpy on the ice-cream ; ). Les Baigneuses - Loved this place for a morning coffee, evening snack, night cap. Relaxed Attitude – staff just let you get on with your holiday, on other French ‘’Campsites’’ they can be like the military police at times, however, the staff here let you enjoy your holiday, no speedo type shorts in the pool is a God Send! People of Reduced Mobility – This site goes out of its way to help people with reduced mobility, it was great to see, beds were reserved around the pool & easy access into the pool as well, this brightened up my day seeing how many people of reduced mobility could go about their day to day routine and enjoy their holiday. Areas for Improvement Sunbeds – Pool area is huge & there is a big opportunity to include more sunbeds, there is certainly th

This is a very attractive site well set out and designed, albeit it's easy to get lost the first few days! The beach is quite nice with 3 bar/restaurants on it. The lounge bar is also nice with giant outdoor screen for sports events. The pool is excellent albeit a bit far for young children walking from other areas of the site. The cabins are nice enough, a bit more comfortable beds etc than other sites. The food is ok with various choices but its pricey for what is no better than decent food. The customer service throughout the site was generally good and friendly. My one big issue is no showers around the beach -this seems easy to do and it would be very useful to wash sand off before bringing it into the cabins! There were some shower stalls but they were locked and when i asked why i got a shrug. The public toilets are poor. Overall it's just whether it's worth the premium cost over other camp sites - I haven't decided yet!
