"What a wonderful hotel! The room was lovely and incredibly spacious, and my teenage son even dubbed the shower a 'dream shower'. And the staff were incredibly friendly. It was such a breath of fresh air to see people genuinely enjoying their work and serving with such enthusiasm! My son and I have a tradition of ending our evenings with 'dessert in bed'. Unfortunately, the kitchen was already closed, but the chef still went out of their way to prepare a plate full of delicious treats for us – how incredibly kind is that?! Parking is conveniently located at Q-Park, just a 3-minute walk away, and it's also a stone's throw from the delightful Groningen city center. We had left the window vents open at night, preferring fresh air over air conditioning, but quickly realized that meant being woken up by students (we assume) having lively chats on the street below. This isn't the hotel's fault at all, so my tip is... keep the window vents closed or use earplugs. Breakfast in the garden was an absolute delight!! All in all, it's definitely worth another visit."

"I stayed here while walking the Pieterpad and had a very pleasant experience. The space was spacious and comfortable, making it easy to spread out my luggage and organize my belongings. There were also tables and chairs available, which gave me a nice place to relax and enjoy some quiet time. The shower facilities were clean, spacious, and there were plenty of showers, so I never had to wait. I also really appreciated that towels were provided. Most importantly, I slept very well. The bed was comfortable, the pillow was great, and I woke up feeling well-rested and ready for the next stage of my hike. Overall, it was a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommended for fellow Pieterpad walkers. Also the supermarket and pharmacy were nearby, and AH close to the hostel has a coffee machine that sells coffee for 1 euro! P.S I'd reccommend you to try to request 320 or 321. They are a little more private compared to others."

"Eurosonic, looking for a cheap but also pleasant place to stay. They have a nice, spacious hall where breakfast is served, as well as drinks, etc. This is shared with another hotel. The hostel is unremarkable, lacking atmosphere to any real thing, has terrible colors, and our room, which is meant for 4 (where we slept with 3), was small, with a built-in cubicle for the toilet and shower (you know, one of those camper showers) and a miserable view of a courtyard and some rooftops. We also couldn't get the room properly heated, so we basically got out of there as soon as possible. I know it's a budget hostel, but something like that should have a bit of class. This genre of accommodation is no longer for me. The good location lifts this rating up to 2 stars."
