Hotel receptionist = 6/5
Hotel room and booking information = 2/5
Overall, the hotel receptionists is very friendly and extremely helpful which makes this stay ok. We check-in at midnight, yet the hotel receptionists received us warmly. They worked really hard trying to fulfill every customer’s requests. They offered us oranges and assisted us with some information about the city.
However, DO NOT trust the pictures in Trip.com.
The room I booked was for 3 persons, with pictures in Trip.com implicating that there will be 2 separate rooms with beds and a living area.
In reality, it seems like they just added an extra bed in the living area, so one person will be sleeping in the living area next to the sofa and desk, attached to the curtains.
It also seems like the room was only meant for 2 person despite having an extra bed. When we check-in, there were only 2 set of towels, mugs, cups and toiletries. We stayed there for 3 nights, and all 3 days, the housekeeping staff removed the used towels and only replace with 2 sets of towels. So everyday I have to request for a new set of full amenities and towel for the third person.
This building also has 2 other different hotels, so the ground floor lobby is shared between them with lifts leading to different lobby.
The floor I stayed has several non smoking sign on the wall, yet the hotel rooms and corridors are filled with cigarette smoke and smell.
