"Room was clean, nice. Amenities were limited, like how can a 4 star hotel not provide slippers or toothbrush, nevertheless, I requested toothbrush and they gave me that. Service was good, they were friendly, cleaned the room on time. Location is a little far from the city center, but you can walk a little bit to the bus station and there’s a lot of buses going to city center. And also there’s a construction near the hotel, so expect a little bit of noise during the daytime."

"The hotel is half an hour away from Barcelona Airport. It was midnight when we arrived. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and could speak English. There was basically no problem in communication. When I entered the room, I felt clean and tidy. I heard that European hotels don't have many supplies. When I came in, I found that everything was available except slippers. The hotel also brought slippers the next day. Although the breakfast was the same every day, it was still very delicate. At the same time, compared with the TAPAS in most Spanish restaurants outside, I still think the breakfast here is good, including the printing we needed during the period. The front desk staff was very cooperative, the service staff were also very friendly, and Glacias was also used to it. The surrounding area of the hotel is very quiet, but it feels that the surrounding area is not very convenient as a whole. Shopping and eating are some distance away, but overall the trip to Barcelona is safe and smooth. If you make good use of buses, subways, and taxis, it is still good."

"At first all was good with the service. Till the aircon in the room doesn’t work. So I tried calling but the room phone wasn’t working well and I was perspiring so I went to the reception desk and told them. In all I waited for around 30 mins for the technician to come and get it checked. After checking the reception call me and told me they are going to restart the aircon and if 15mins it does cool up I am suppose to go down with my luggage packed and get my room change. We stayed for 1 week and plus the shopping for the week we have lots to pack. So after packing we went down to get our room change, he gave me a look that he is not able to change for me as I took more than 15 mins that he “instructed”. I explained that we have lots to packed but he just return with a too bad look on his face. I believe he is aware that the aircon is not working and changing of room is inevitable. I am shocked with his attitude. After some argument he eventually changed it. Then the new room tv doesn’t comes with Netflix unlike the first one so I believe I got a downgrade. But as it was my last night and we are just too tired to change it again. Location is ok walking distance to most eateries and bars. Room is reasonably clean."

"We had rather a long wait to check in and were not acknowledged by the staff on reception who were dealing with two other guests checking in. There were five staff behind the reception desk but it took a good five minutes maybe longer before anyone attended to us!! This did not feel like the best start but our check in was then done quickly and efficiently but not what I would call a warm welcome.
Our room was on the sixth floor and was nice and clean. The beds are really comfortable and apart from the half the tv channels everything worked fine. I was surprised there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room considering this is a four star hotel.
The pool area was also a little disappointing."

"Great location. It only takes 30 min to everywhere (airport / city center) and the Metro is right behind the hotel. Very convenient. It’s also close to Gran Via 2 (shopping mall).
Check in and check out are both straightforward. The breakfast doesn’t have too many selection but the variety of food served were already everything you’d like to eat! Our room was clean when we arrived. We would gladly stay here again."

GGuest UserI found this hotel miserable from many aspect. We arrived at midnight from the airport and we’re given the last room left. The room has a distinct smell that almost like a man’s underarm. We asked for a double room but it was two single beds put together. The shower head had a 30s hot water and 5s cold water loop. The bath tub was blocked.
We asked for a change and were given an upgrade queen bed room the next day, thank you for that. Unfortunately, the new room still has the underarm smell but a bit less, and also a new smell like it’s been a very old room with unventilated smell from some furnitures or the wall. The shower head problems was still there.
The location is alright, despite quite a distance from the metro station, you can still take the buses.

Roof-top pool was fantastic though we didn't swim.
Breakfast was excellent. Many choices. Though we had breakfast for three days, we still didn't feel boring.
About parking, it was convenient. Parking was just in the basement.
About cleanliness, it was really disappointed. When first going into the room, every things were white in color and looked clean and comfy. But later we saw disgusting reddish brown dirt and stain on the white curtain and on the toilet door. We also encountered cleanliness problem during breakfast time. At least 3-4 plates in the pile of 'clean' plates had very obvious dirt on them. The hotel should pay special attention to these.

GGuest UserA short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured.
Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel.
As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you.
Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children.

If the traffic is smooth, it will take about 30-40 minutes. If you mind the long distance, I suggest you choose carefully. When checking in, the receptionist DEMANDED a deposit from me in an ultimatum form. I replied that I was checking out at 7 am and I would hardly be able to use the deposit, to which he replied that this was the hotel's policy and I was obliged otherwise he would cancel my reservation. I showed him the check-in voucher, which did not contain information about my obligation to make a deposit. He said that this was my problem and he would now (at 00:00 at night) cancel the reservation. After 20 minutes, I managed to convince him not to take a deposit from me. The second round of the tragedy began - he asked to pay a tourist tax. I offered to pay by credit card, since I only had cash US dollars with me. but I couldn't pay with a VISA card, which I've used without problems in 50 countries around the world!!! but the terminals at the hotel didn't accept my card. I asked to take a deposit of 100 US dollars, but he wouldn't hear of it, he made me exchange 200 dollars (!!!) since the hotel policy prohibits exchanging a smaller amount!!! for your information - the tourist tax is 12.54 euros and the hotel employee couldn't provide me with a normal terminal for payment! in short, it's terrible, in the end I fell asleep only at 01:00 at night. terrible place, absolutely disloyal staff. he tried to yell at me!!! this is the first time I've seen something like this! it's just awful!
