This hotel and staff were the most kind, courteous, helpful, clean and family oriented - I mean they make you feel like family! I have spent many nights in hotels because of my line of business in real estate and I have NEVER loved a hotel experience like my ten days at this hotel. I never write reviews, good or bad. You cannot go wrong here. Tourists will understand when I say that feeling safe is a must, especially in another country. In the room there was a personalized safe to keep your valuables secure and the staff NEVER enter your room unless directed by guests. The rooms are spotless and fresh smelling, the staff is the hardest working, going beyond with every request - completely and always. This hotel was also the cleanest and best stocked with any amenity needed. My partner and I enjoyed the sanitized saunas, jacuzzis and gym - permitting us to create special long lasting memories! Come to Bogota and stay at this hotel; you will thank me. <3 We hope to stay here again, very soon. Special thanks and regards to Karen, Juan Carlos, Diego (all amazing hotel staff) and Orlando (our hotel shuttle driver). You are the best (you killed it) and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Siempre tuyo ~Patti xoxoxoxoxo

Double room was very small. Had to put suitcases on the floor. Breakfast was included but over the 4 days it was never really good. Restaurant staff were wonderful though. There is a pool but the water was uncomfortably cold, so I skipped it after the first dip. Location is stellar. Near the park, with lots of restaurant options. Given all that, it was a very expensive option for Bogota. Would not return.
Overlooking Park 93, our hotel stands out with organically inspired, distinctive architecture. Destination dining, entertainment, businesses, and embassies are minutes away. We offer on-site dining with a wide variety of global flavors, and meeting space with advanced A/V equipment. Enjoy our wellness programs including yoga in the park, massage, and a fitness center.

I came to bogota to visit by myself, and I stayed at Salvio hotel for this trip. The service was really good and efficient. They helped you for the transportation from airport to hotel, arrange for day tour and from hotel to airport as well. They would followed up with driver for the updates for your trip in Colombia. The hotel is very chic, clean and housekeepers are doing a good job, every time when you return to your room, it is so spotless. The rooftop bar&restaurant and breakfast buffet was excellent! I really enjoyed the view and everything. The facilities were amazing, especially in the gym area. I wanted to say thank you to front desk employee John and the lady named Carol G. She was a lifesaver! I highly recommended to stay at Salvio.

This is where you want to stay while in Bogotá . Three things stood out immediately: exceptional staff; outstanding breakfast; perfect location. I have stated in previous reviews that to me a building is just a building until you add the staff. How these employees act and relate to you as a guest make all the difference in the world. Edgar is the head waiter at breakfast and makes you feel like a long time friend as soon as you sit down. The front desk staff were very patient with me and my poor spanish yet they manage to help with each query I had. There are a number of fine restaurants in the coutyard and a huge shopping mall a short 10 minute walk away. Our overall experience was a resounding YES, STAY HERE. *****

I had a large room on the top floor with a big walk-in shower and comfortable bed and nice desk for working at. Great variety at breakfast time from croissants and bread to fruit with very nice coffee either from the pot or a machine. Actually the machine was one of the better ones! Super friendly staff and the airport pickup I ordered was super easy and good value. Gym on the terrace floor is small but I was the only one ever to use it. Outdoor terrace has great views and can get windy so maybw that's why it's not used much either.

My experience was from the front desk and every other service that they offer. They upgraded my room for free and the room was spectacular. They added an extra touch by providing me with local fruits free of charge. At the front desk they volunteered to helped me plan the stay, routes, transportation, everything was great. At the restaurant I told them what I was looking for and asked them if they had it they didn’t have it on the many but they made it for me anyway, and every time I went afterwards even without me asking they kept making stuff specially for me without being on the menu. The gym, is way better than most fancy gyms you pay a high subscription for. The spa was amazing too. There’s so much. Absolutely everything that the hotel offers is great. And people were so friendly and kind and welcoming and treated me like A VIP, even though I look like a vagabond. They offer transportation which is great because it provides that extra level of safety and security

Let me start with the positives: As Bogota’s airport is the major hub for domestic flights in Colombia, we spent 4 nights at the Courtyard. It’s very conveniently located in almost a walking distance from the airport and have a good shuttle service. As you can expect from Courtyard by Marriott (I am a platinum member) rooms are nice and the restaurant was good. Stuff were friendly. I would have rated it at 4 stars but… We wanted to get to Zipaquira Salt Cathedral (Catedral de Sal) and asked the receptionist’s help. They communicated with the transportation services they use (GERF) and gave us a quote of 220,000 COP for a minivan. Yet, on the night before travel they have told us the price is actually 379,000 COP. They have admitted they have made a mistake and the manager even suggested to compensate us with dinner for the honest mistake. I showed him the lonely planet book showing an estimated price of up to 160,000 COP for a taxi to Zipaquira which includes 2.5 hours wait at the Salt Cathedral. He mentioned their transportation services (GERF) includes a wait of up to 5 hours which would allow us enough time to visit the Cathedral and enjoy the city. We have accepted the offer and thought it was a real nice gesture from the manager to compensate us. After we have finished the visit to the Cathedral which took us about 2 hours, we have decided that instead of staying at the city we would prefer to go to Monserrat which is just a short detour from the way back to the hotel. We have asked the driver if we can spend the rest of the wait time on Monserrat instead and he acknowledged it. We spent about 2.5 hours to visit Monserrat. When we arrived back in the hotel the driver asked for 535,000 COP claiming the agreed total travel time they have committed was 5 hours, not the wait time as communicated and agreed by us. Given the trip to Zipaquira is about 2 hours each way that obviously doesn’t make sense as it means it allows only 1 hour at the Salt Cathedral and no time at the city. It means they have known we would need to pay much more. We have discussed it with the hotel reception and asked to talk with the manager who was not at the hotel but they were unable to resolve the issue. We have reluctantly paid the difference but felt we were cheated (…and paid almost 3 times a regular taxi service we could have ordered). Must admit the hotel gave us the dinner for free as promised but in 2 weeks of traveling in Colombia using hotels to arrange our transportations it was the only incident we have faced. Bottom line - good hotel but we felt cheated which ruined our experience. Suggest NOT to use their transportation services (GERF - see picture attached) or at a minimum be very specific and put the terms in writing to avoid such bad feelings and experience.

Good •Good breakfast. They made us a vegan breakfast, even when they don't normally offer vegan options; but it was the same every day. •Cleaning and daily amenities. (Although in the ”cons” I detail the issue of cleaning) •Excellent service. All the staff are more than helpful and resolutive. •The Internet connection is good and stable. We were working 8 hours a day and we had no problems. ATTENTION HERE because we asked to change a room with a better view and when they changed us, there was no internet, so we had to go back to where we were before. So, keep in mind that there are apartments with no Wi-Fi. •24h reception •Very quiet. There's no noise. This gave us a lot of quality of life and more coming from the noise hell that there was in the accommodation in Playa del Carmen. •Spacious. Enough space for storage and put the suitcases. •Good workspace. (desk and confortable chair) •Spa. However, there are restrictions to use the spa Bad: •The kitchen has less than the basics and that is a problem if you expect to cook during your stay because, even if you complain, they will not be able to bring you everything you need. In my case, for example, I needed a pasta strainer, bowls and a good knife and they said they didn't have them. •The gym is small and does not have much. •The apartments are cold and don’t have heating. The only way they solve it is by giving you a blanket. •Regarding cleanliness: I do not like that the floor of the room is covered by a carpet; also, the carpet was completely disgusting. In addition, the utensils they used to clean were more dirty than clean. The surfaces and the bathroom were always very clean, but the floors were not. It is very important to take care of cleaning, disinfection and vacuuming very well, especially when the accommodation accepts pets and considering that we are still living in a pandemic. In conclusion, we had a good stay although perhaps I would recommend it more for a short stay. By the end I was already a bit upset by the carpet and the little glitches. But for the offer that there is and the quality / price ratio that you can find, it is not bad. What is certain is that the hotel would gain a lot of potential if it remodeled the apartments (I think it needs urgent restoration).

MMatthewSome of the ladies at the front desk were very nice and very respectful, but there were some gentlemen who was quite rude, and there was a young bartender who kept harassing us for more tips even though it was on the bill. When we checked in we parked across the street the car was outside for 5 minutes the security watched the tow truck take the car and then they came in when the car was already loaded it almost seemed like they were in cahoots with each other, but I can't confirm that, but it seemed a little odd that they watched I'll call get towed cost us over a million and a half pesos to get out car back
XXiejunwen sevenLocated in the rich area, in the office building, the safety and health of access is tall. There are Japanese dishes downstairs, Mexican dishes, local South American dishes, very convenient, and the service is polite and thoughtful. recommend.
Despite everything the agent could say, my experience was good, they received me with kindness and were very helpful at all times, the room I had was on the second floor but I was calm the entire time, the breakfast was very varied and Delicious, the staff tries to serve with great kindness, it has a cardio area and a Turkish bath, I did like it and I will return soon, the only thing is that they do not have constant security service, but nothing bad happened.
JJulio RobertoI love this place. This hotel is one of the best in Bogotá. What I like the most is the location and the breakfast buffet. The service as usual was OUTSTANDING. Mr. Pedro, Ana, and David were really professional and EFFICIENT. I booked the restaurant for a family reunion and my family and I had the best time. Thank you for all your efforts to make my experience UNFORGETTABLE. About the room, the mattress was really good. The room has a coffee maker with a selection of coffee pods and tea. The parking is very convenient and free.
GGuest UserRooms are large and well appointed. The staff is courteous overall. The experience could have been better: 1. At arrival, the staff wanted us to wait to check in while they took care of the Íbera crew who had arrived after us. Customers should be served in the order they arrive. Very rude and unprofessional. 2. Breakfast was mediocre. They do not serve soy or almond milk, despite being readily available in Bogotá. We had to go buy a bottle and carry it to breakfast, which was inconvenient. The hotel should provide a milk alternative. There was also too few staff for breakfast and often we had to wait for coffee refill and fruit to be available since there was only one waitress to cover breakfast. She was nice but at least another person should be available. 3. We reserved a premium room with two beds and were given in haste, to get rid of us so they could take care of the Iberia crew, a room with one bed. When we came back to get this fixed, the receptionist gave us a horrible connecting room with no blackout curtains and super noisy, room 311. At this point, it was late and we were exhausted so we waited for next morning to get another room. They eventually, through much insistence our part, assigned us the room we had originally paid for. No excuse, no upgrade, nothing, just a blank stare from the manager, she could not care about the issue we brought up. 4. Location: This is a residential area, which makes it hard to get in and out by car due to the street configuration. The hotel is across a canal that stinks so walking along or opening a window, not an option. The furnishings and decorations are very nice and elegant and the views from the terrace are nice. The clientele is quiet and well behaved. The cleaning staff is fantastic, the room was impeccably cleaned every day.
GGuest UserSome of the staff was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, other staff was quite rude. For example, when I asked the gentleman at the front desk to copy my vaccine cards, he practically snatched them out of my hands without saying a word. After handing me my copies, he began to walk away while my cards were still sitting in the copy machine. I politely asked for ”mis tarjetas, por favor.” He walked back over, still silent, and I said simply, ”Esos son importantes.” He chuckled under his breath but still said nothing as he handed the cards back. It was as if he simply had no interest in bothering with them unless I asked.
Then, after I paid for the copies, he went to look for my change (1,000 pesos). He then told me in an irritated tone that they didn't have any change. I simply said, ”No es importante.” Throughout the whole interaction, he acted very rushed and inconvenienced, as if I was imposing on him, and he never offered the slightest apology for forgetting my vaccine cards or not having any change. (They were not busy at the time; there were two people working behind the counter and no other guests in line. At least the other fellow was professional, unlike his colleague.)
I'm aware that my Spanish is still at an intermediate level; however, if you're going to work in the hotel industry (down the street from the airport, in a capital city, no less), the least you could do is show some courtesy to your guests. (We don't have to speak Spanish to pick up on your passive aggressiveness.)
Also, when I arrived there were no towels in the room. It took three requests over about 35-40 minutes to get some. Everyone I talked to seemed very professional and intent on taking care of it, but somehow no one delivered until the third attempt. It was surprising, actually, because the room was immaculate and perfectly made up, except for having no towels of any kind.
I enjoyed my dinner a lot, and the lady who waited on me was gracious and patient when conversing with me in Spanish. The restaurant took a few minutes to find, as there are two buildings, each with their own lobby, and the fellow at reception who checked me in didn't mention anything about the restaurant.
SSoulfulExplorerThe Habitel Hotel is conveniently situated close to the airport, with a reliable shuttle service that adds to its appeal. The hotel comprises two sections, ‘Prime’ and ‘Select,’ with the ‘Prime’ offering slightly superior accommodations. My stay was generally satisfactory; however, the A/C in my room was broken, making it uncomfortably cold. After multiple visits to reception, the staff kindly provided a heater. This issue should ideally be addressed before guest check-ins.
It appears the hotel is undergoing construction on the 1st floor, which was where my room was located, resulting in some noise. Despite these inconveniences, the delicious breakfast made up for everything! I highly recommend the Caldo de Costilla. Based on the food alone, I would definitely consider staying here again.
GGuest UserThe rooms need some care. Shower pressure, what pressure? The water dribbles out of the showers. The curtains also caused problems getting stuck from time to time, meaning we couldn't enjoy our lovely views. In addition the TV is the same as the ones you'd find in a budget hotel, not smart and tiny. Not ideal when you want to relax after a day of exploring. It also doesn't help that the hotel doesn't allow for more than one key per room. The location however is great. You're walking distance from Zona G, a safe neighbourhood with an abundance of excellent restaurants. This hotel's saving grace however is a young staff member named Christian! Always greeting each guest with a smile and remembering everyone's name. Christian went above and beyond, I even felt bad going up to him with my complaints which he seemed to have remedy for almost instantly. In fact the same could be said for all the staff.
GGuest UserThey say they have a parking room but it's not the case, they ask for the keys to be left (but that shouldn't be done because if something happens to the car, no one answers because checks have not been made, etc.) , and at least in my case, who paid to rest at 5am they were touching the door to move the car and having arrived at midnight, that means NO rest and the plate that I paid to rest was lost, And on the other hand, employees are very blind and rained in the grudge to say things, in other words, THAT IS NOT THE OPTION If you travel in a car, WILL BE BOOK TREAT AND WILL BOOK.
