Lovely place. Some staff can speak English, some can't, but all of them were very friendly and helpful. Location is just 5 minutes walk from the main station and bus stop on the main street. The food was outstanding and stunning in presentation. The hot spring has indoor and outdoor areas. The room was spacious but can be super cold during winter (and there's no hot water system in the bathroom due to old facilities). But overall, best experience, would love to come back :)

There was wifi in the room, it was clean (the airconditioning was quite dusty though) and the location was quite close to the station. There is no private shower in our room, so all baths have to be taken in the communal onsen. There are two baths in the level one bath, and just one in the basement bath. Still, a very good experience and it was quite convenient for a two-night stay.

The room is the largest and most comfortable I've ever stayed in in Japan, and the mountain view outside the window is beautiful. The mother-in-law at the front desk will tell you the appropriate bathing time, so I can always go to the hot spring when no one is around, avoiding the embarrassment of contact with others 😅 The outdoor hot spring is very comfortable, and I will come again if I have the chance!

The room is a pure Japanese tatami room, and it looks clean, but the hot spring is very small, and it is crowded for two people to enter. The receptionist's English is very poor, and communication is a bit difficult. The key is that they have luggage storage services. We planned to play in Hakone and then go to Atami the next day. We discussed with them to store the luggage until 1 pm, but they told us that they had to repair the air conditioner. There was no one in the hotel in the morning. It was obviously a shirking of responsibility.

Japanese-style B&B, the experience is good, very Japanese. The hot spring is very clean and clear, and there are few people, so it is not awkward to soak in it, very comfortable and free. The luggage sent from Yumoto Station was also delivered to the room! However, because it is a B&B, the hygiene conditions are definitely not comparable to those of four-star or five-star hotels. It is recommended to bring disposable quilt covers and sheets. But I personally feel that the cost performance is already very high.

The room is better than expected. The taps are all mountain spring water and can be drunk directly. The downside is that the hotel's own hot spring is a bit small and the temperature is relatively high.
