GGuest UserThe hotel is within 10-15 minutes walk to the CBD area, and 6 minutes walk to the Woolworths supermarket, which we found very convenient. The car parking cost $25 per night with limited in and out, for close to CBD I think that’s quite a reasonable pricing. We stayed for 5 nights and extended our stay for another 2 nights there after, the only time they did not clean the room is on Sunday cuz we woke up too late and the cleaning service already went home. Other than that they always keep our room very clean, which we really appreciate. I am a big tea drinker and they always refill my tea :) we love the complimentary buffet style breakfast (western style with fruits, yogurt, toast, croissants, muffins, eggs, sausages, and bacon, coffee, tea, cereals) although we always miss it because they open at 7 am on weekends and 6:30 am on weekdays and we have to leave around 6:40 am most of our stay except the last 3 days. However I love their service, the hotel manager, Dilansh is amazing, during my stay the washing machine and dryer were both under maintenance and she were able to point out where I can do my laundry (10 mins walk) and she were able to refund my future stay because I decided to find another place with the laundry service. Everyone very helpful including the restaurant staff who gave me a take away box for us to take the fruit for breakfast even when it wasn’t 7am yet. I am very grateful for that. The TV in the hotel support chrome cast so you can watch anything from your phone in the big screen. They have a small fitness room and laundry room.
AAnonymous UserThe room rate is cheap. I booked a cheaper hotel because I had to get up early to catch the flight. The only drawback was that I was given a disabled room on the lower floor. I had to get up early the next day so I didn't ask for a room change. The floor was high and I could smell the fumes from the restaurant downstairs. I recommend booking a room on a higher floor.
PPingan2005The hotel is not bad, send the child to the University of Queensland, take a taxi to the school for 20 Australian dollars, it is a little problem to stay, Ctrip service is very good, and later solved,
CCharles1204Friendly staff, helpful and would help you plan your trip. Room was clean. Can’t ask for more with this price as a hotel in the city center. Major problem is with the parking garage, small and packed with cars. Do pay attention if you are driving an SUV.
GGuest UserOverall is good, as what you will expect based on what you booked. However, message respond from the unit/property was slow, which we hope can be improved. The bed is a queen-sized bed, and not a king-sized bed as shown in the photo when we booked. I think we stayed for 2 or 3 nights before we moved to a new unit. We appreciated the front desk staff allowed us to change to another unit with king sized bed. During our 8 night stays, unfortunately there was once all 3 units of elevators was down at night, and my poor husband couldn't wait for repair and had to climb up to 22nd floor. However, the problem was rectified soon. One terrified thing happened around 2 to 3am one night, we were awakened by a loud alarm in our unit. We didn't know what to do and called up the in-house security number listed, what shocked us was the answer given by the man who answered the call. When we asked what's happening and do we need to go down, what the man answered is ”Up to you”. We were puzzled! Not long after that, the alarm changed from beep sound to voice telling ”Emergency, Evacuate Now”, repetitively. When we went down, many people, some in their pajamas were already outside the building. Fire brigades arrived shortly, and thank God, it turn out to be a false fire alarm. The next day, there was no any message from the management about what happened.
HHoSylviaWe were granted early check in shortly before 12pm. Unfortunately due to some issues, I was given the keycard to a room that’s already occupied and the occupant slammed the door in my face when we opened the door. I assumed he was shocked too. Was quite upset and shocked and went down to the concierge. Thankfully they were able to give me another room and we were compensated with 2 days of breakfast as service recovery. That was much appreciated. Breakfast is amazing.
NNoodleCupKGood value, right in the CBD which is good for first time visitors. Amenities are average and during my visit in December, there was a lot of renovation work during the day so it was a bit noisy especially when my room was right next to the renovation zone.
TTerriWe had a few problems with swipe cards, which didn't end up resolved, lots of apologies but no offer of compensation (to access our room we had to get the staff to swipe us up to our level then swipe into our room) otherwise it was a lovely stay, beds are super comfy
GGuest UserOur stay was great.. a quick little getaway for us... cant complain about anything ..the room was clean and comfortable...just what we needed
