Very good point and good location and good clean room and good staff

I have stayed at this hotel several times, but this time was very disappointing. 1. Dinner This hotel has a plan that includes dinner (buffet style), which I used this time. Serving starts at 17:00, and I went to the restaurant around 17:40 to get some food, but there was only curry, boiled rice, and a few pieces of bread, and no rice at all. They said it would end when it was gone, so they didn't replenish the rice, and I could hardly eat anything. There's no point if it becomes unavailable in 30 minutes. 2. Public bath Usually there's no problem, but this time there was no water in the tub, so I couldn't soak. I spoke to the front desk, but it seemed they had no intention of improving. Moreover, the public bath at this hotel is not open in the morning, so I couldn't use it before check-out the next day. 3. Staff They spoke Japanese, but seemed to be in a bad mood. Good points The breakfast is a buffet with a limited number of dishes, but you can add any dish you like, so it's very satisfying. The room was very clean, had windows, and was spacious enough.

The short-term tenants in Japan Street are basically all Japanese residents. The front desk service is all in Japanese, and basic English is not spoken. Great attitude, but no language barrier. Breakfast and dinner are both Japanese style, which is also good.

There are Japanese karaoke bars nearby, which are suitable for Japanese nightlife consumption, but they are only for Japanese people and the service is in Japanese. It's close to Lotte Department Store, which is also OK. The hotel's shortcomings are, I know you have a lot of Japanese guests, but at least you can speak some English. I spoke English to your counter staff, but I had difficulty communicating some basic words. It's really funny. Can you still run a hotel like this? Then there was a woman at the counter who had a very sullen face. I won’t tell you which one. There were three in total. The other two had smiling faces and were very polite. The remaining one was like, “So what if I owe you something?” and she was very polite to the Japanese. What’s the matter? Did those who speak Chinese or English annoy you? Next, let’s talk about room air conditioning. You live in a hot country, and you can only turn on the heating and ventilation in the room, but not the air conditioning. What does that mean? Why are you turning on the heating when it’s over 20 degrees outside? Sauna? I'm so bored, I went to your counter to resolve the issue. You gave me a lot of explanations, but I don't know what you wanted to explain. Can't you just turn off the air conditioning for me? I strongly recommend that non-Japanese people do not live in this place.

They upgraded my room for free and spoke Japanese, so I had a stress-free stay. In the evening, the front desk also provided free light snacks like rice balls, which was a great service when I was feeling a bit hungry.

The large public bath was nice. The night view of the skyscrapers was also beautiful.

I would have given it a 5 star rating because of the free upgrade, but I had a very annoying experience so I lowered the rating. On the 3rd, I realized I had a cold and sore throat so I bought some medicine at the pharmacy outside. In the photo, I bought a 3-day supply after it was thrown away. Yes, it seems that the medicine, including the unused medicine that I left on the desk as shown in the photo, was collected and thrown away in its plastic packaging. Well, it's a local pharmacy, so... I complained to the front desk and threw it away without permission, so will they compensate me if I show them the receipt? They can't. If so, will they collect the medicine that I threw away? They said they can't do anything about it, and I wondered what they would do if it was medicine I brought from Japan... I had no choice but to buy it again at the pharmacy and leave it on the desk in this state at the front desk and throw it away?! It's certainly strange to throw it away... Please instruct the staff! I told them, but they didn't do it. Normally I would have given a 100,000 dong tip for the keeping fee, but I didn't leave one for the last day.

This is a Japanese business hotel with many Japanese guests and the service is also Japanese. Unbelievably, when I came back from breakfast, my room was in a mess. I asked the front desk and they said they made a mistake and thought I had checked out.

Every time I go to Hanoi, I stay at Hotel Ya Hanoi. Although it's a bit of a walk from Linh Lang, I think it's a convenient location. The hotel also has a large public bath and sauna, and I was able to watch many movies in the room, so I was able to spend a comfortable time.
