Premier Inn Leicester South (Oadby)

I cannot praise highly enough the colleague working at Premier Inn Oadby. Chris the team member on duty was an absolute star, no Matter how many times we troubled her, she was always polite, cheerful, and extremely helpful. I have stayed in many Premier Inns and encountered many colleagues. Chris is by far one of the best I have encountered .

Ruth the staff member was extremely helpful and chatty and nothing was to much trouble!! The hotel even though it was on a busy road it was quiet in the room !! The hotel has all your basic needs that you need !! It was in a central location for what we needed!

Lovely location away from the hustle of a city centre. Easy to get to and lovely countryside and local town(Oadby) 5 minutes away. Close to the village of Great Glen where there’s lovely pubs and walking routes. 20 minutes from the city centre of Leicester. Good bus links to Leicester and surrounding villages as well as Market Harborough and Kibworth. Very spacious room which was very clean and had what you would expect as standard items. The bed was soooo comfy and Had a great nights sleep despite the howling wind which didn’t disturb us. Good size bathroom with a decent shower. There’s a decent pub/restaurant (The Fox Pond) about 10 metres from the hotel. Good for food and beverages and reasonable prices.

Lovely clean and comfortable room and great location for my needs. Extremely quiet rooms. Reception staff definitely went above and beyond There was an elderly gentleman staying alone in the room opposite me, and she made a point of checking on him and making sure he had everything he needed for his stay. Absolutely 5* service from start to finish and literally could not do enough for all the guests.

Good location,nice rooms not forgetting the comfortable bed n pillows.The staff very friendly.Ruth n Chris were very welcoming.House keeping was to the schedule as requested.I would recommend this place to ample of Parking space.check in and check was no trouble at all.

Second time we have chosen to stay here. Visiting family in Leicester so the hotel is very convenient. Except car parking and very friendly receptionist. The room was as expected and no complaints at all. Additional supplies of tea/ coffee etc easily available in hotel reception. The only disappointment was that we were not told at check in the pub on site was shutting the kitchen at 5.00 pm that day due to staff shortages. We walked over at 7.00 pm expecting to get a meal only to find a notice on the door telling us that there was no food available. Fortunately a local who was coming out of the pub directed us to an excellent restaurant nearby. Would definitely stay here again though.
