I really like Jinshui Pavilion. I booked a sea view room for one night. The room is large, the environment is good, and there are large sofas and massage chairs. There is a terrace with a great view on the top floor, the fifth floor, as well as various free drinks and ice cream. The two meals of the hotel's one night and two meals are delicious and worth a try. Dinner is served in the room, and breakfast is served in the restaurant on the first floor. In addition, the free large hot spring and the private hot spring experience are very comfortable, and it would be even better if there is a natural landscape.

I went to Miyajima on a family trip and used it for the first time. It's close to Itsukushima Shrine, right by the sea, right next to the bustling shopping street that is the main street. It was a very nice inn where you can feel the old-fashioned history in places while being well-equipped. There are many free services that are exclusive to hotel guests. There are lounges with free drinks in the lobby and on the top floor where you can enjoy the scenery. There are plenty of drinks and sweets in the room, so I didn't have to worry about spending small drinks. This ryokan responds to guests' requests as flexibly and pleasantly as possible. For example, in our case this time, when we told them in advance that there was a member of the family who had trouble walking, they set up a bed in a Japanese-style room, and changed the basic dishes that were provided to each person's taste. , Even when I was at a loss as to what to do, I was able to have a very comfortable time because I was able to immediately respond flexibly and make suggestions. The hot spring is underground, and it has an old-fashioned atmosphere with only one large bathtub. Compared to the hot spring resorts of today, it may feel unsatisfactory. rice field. The water quality has a slightly salty and smooth feel, and it was stated that the water was pumped from the source and boiled. I was able to take a comfortable bath without feeling stingy or dry even for my family members with sensitive skin. Unfortunately, there are no open-air baths or private baths, but depending on the room, some rooms have open-air baths, so you can choose according to your preference. The highlight here is the quality of the food. It is common for ryokan cuisine to have large differences in the amount of food or not enough depending on the course or price, or the impression and quality of the appearance and appearance of the image on the site is greatly different from the image on the site, which is common in large ryokan cuisine. Not only did I have no sense of failure, such as the food being cold when it was served, but rather, I was able to provide wonderful food that impressed me even more. This time, we ate in the room, and originally the Miyabi set was the basic set, but there are 4 types of seasonal course meals (Miyabi set, delicious fish, delicious meat, delicious feast) on the website. I requested at the advance reservation stage and received all of them in my family. There was absolutely no mistake in any of the courses, and the rich ingredients unique to the land were carefully prepared, and they were all very delicious. We were able to provide a supreme moment that surpassed the best by doing everything, such as making rice balls for dinner. In addition, the breakfast at the dining hall the next morning was surprisingly luxurious with a large number of items, and the amount was appropriate little by little, and the content was very satisfying. In addition, the seasoning is not too light while maintaining a gentle flavor that maximizes the goodness of fresh ingredients, and does not rely on artificial taste manipulation such as umami seasoning. It was served at a perfect temperature and was delicious and I was very impressed. Even teenagers didn't feel unsatisfactory and enjoyed it until the end, and elderly people had no problems with the temperature, seasoning, size and hardness of the ingredients. I have type II diabetes and am always concerned about my blood sugar level, but even if I eat a lot of different foods, the rise in my blood sugar level is mild and does not rise like I usually do when eating out, and I don't feel sick afterwards. so i am very surprised. I think that there are individual differences in how to feel the taste, but I would appreciate it if you could refer to it.

The staff are amazing. Our plans had changed slightly so we needed to leave early and we were prepared to miss breakfast to take the early ferry. However, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. They opened the restaurant early and had a car waiting to get us to the pier. They really did go above and beyond 😀 We had a semi open air room which was fabulous. With fully stocked fridge and large private onsen. The meal served in the room was fantastic. It isn’t cheap, but what an excellent Japanese experience.

Miyajima is awash in daytrippers in part because it merits only a day trip, in our view. We had poor/cold spring cold weather in late March, so we did not use the much-heralded rooftop lounge, though the ice cream, mini-beers etc. remained on offer. The Japanese tatami-mat-and-futon sleeping arrangements did not make for a good night’s sleep, although the kimonos guests use during their stays were the highest quality of any we’d been given in Japan. The room seemed to need a deep clean, but had a nice view (as we requested) and good shower. The by-reservation soaking tub was enjoyed. The

We (two couples) spent one night here, based on the recommendation of a family member who travels to Japan regularly and said that Miyajima is one of her favorite places. We wanted to find a ryokan with private onsens on the island, and Kinsuikan had availability on our date. Their website and communication were a bit wonky to actually make reservations, but luckily it all worked out in the end. All of us enjoyed our stay. We had large 4th floor ocean-view rooms with semi-open air onsens. We were served dinner and breakfast in the rooms, which was a very nice treat! The room was very comfortable and felt luxurious in a 1990s resort kind of way. Lots of lighting and lighting switches. Beds were hard but very comfortable – we slept really well. Good AC. The bathroom had tons of bath/spa toiletries. The fridge was stocked with a variety of free beverages including a little bottle of bubbly. The onsen was really nice: huge, so we could stretch out, and good water temperature. The meals were great: less food than we had had at our previous ryokan, which we appreciated, and with more interesting spins on traditional fare; and of course tons of freshly caught seafood. The Kinsuikan has a rooftop deck with gorgeous views, a 5th floor coffee and beverage area with a freezer full of little strawberry and vanilla ice creams, a little library, a little first floor covered open-air café…lots of nooks and crannies to explore! The staff were all really nice. While we were there, it seemed like a lot of the other guests were older Japanese tour groups. The island is really magical at night when day trippers leave, and we feel that is pretty much what you’re paying for when you pay a fair sum of money to stay overnight at someplace like the Kinsuikan. We totally felt it was worth it, but wouldn’t need to spend more than one night here.

This is a really good Ryoken to stay in if you would like the experience of a traditional Japanese hotel. We had two rooms and in the evening and they put out futons on the floor to sleep on (just as comfortable as normal beds). They had a strong Japanese clientele presence when we were there which I thought was great as many of the hotels we stayed in Japan only had foreign tourists staying. The staff here were extremely polite and helpful. We stayed on a breakfast and dinner board basis. The Kaiseki meal for dinner was exceptionally beautifully presented. It was extremely sad to us that our western palates meant we couldn’t eat much of it and our children while enjoying the experience didn’t eat any. This wasn’t the fault of the hotel but if you are a westerner staying there with children you may need to consider alternatives for breakfast and dinner (breakfast is similar to dinner in that it is traditional Japanese dishes beautifully presented but there were limited western breakfast options - our kids ate the rice and little else). The Ryokan has guest lounge on the top floor with great complementary facilities (alcohol, soft drinks and ice cream) and from the rooftop, there are great views. There are also complementary coffee lounges on the ground floor which are a great place to sit and unwind. The Ryokan provides traditional Yakuta for guests to wear while on the island. This was great fun and while we only wore them within the hotel, we saw plenty of people wearing them in the streets of Miyajima (just don’t wear this dress to the temple). There is an Onsen in the basement (split into male and female sections) which is great if you have never tried one before (there are notices on the ground floor which indicate when someone is in the Onsen and we picked a time when no one else was around!). The male Onsen was quite large and it could probably have tkane 20 or more comfortably but as I say we went in when no one was there. On Miyajima more generally, it’s beautiful island and well worth staying for a couple of nights. The floating Tori gate at night (when it’s not covered with tourists as it is during the day) is stunning and there are good walks up to the top of Mount Misen (and cable cars for those less able or willing to do the hike). The deer are very friendly and again something children will enjoy.

We had 2 marvelous nights at Kinsuikan. Our traditional room prepared by Yui was great, she also served our 2 excellent and very copious evening meals in such a delightful way (excellent English). The onsen and roof top terrace are also fantastic. All in all great for a more traditional Japanese stay.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Kinsuikan (a ryokan inn). The location is on the Main Street facing the bay. Highly recommend that you stay in one of the half open air suites. Having your own inroom bath, overlooking the bay was wonderful. The room had standard western style bed, which was nice. The inroom dinner was also wonderful. It was served by our hostess Yui who spoke excellent English. (She’d be great at the front desk as reception staff spoke limited English) The quantities were huge. So you probably do not need to order extra beef Wagyu ( or only one order for 2 people) Our only complaint was that the breakfast is only Japanese style. So we ended up skipping breakfast the second day. A note, if you’re not a huge oyster fan, you may want to ask them to skip the oysters. (They are cooked. I think grilled or steamed). The ryokan also specializes in wedding photography packages which looked very nice.

The service was excellent, the location was great, and the view was awesome. However, I couldn't help but be a little disappointed in the dinner meal. We had opted for the Seafood meal as we had heard great things about Hiroshima / Miyajima seafood, but was surprised to see that it was "good" but not "great". Was also slightly put off when seeing a staff chase a cockroach in the lobby. Next time I come back to Hiroshima / Miyajima, I will likely try another location.
