The staff were friendly and the service was good.
It's about a 20-minute walk from Hawkshead, so it's recommended for people who are physically fit.
I also recommend taking the ferry from Windermere to get there.

The room is small, but very comfortable, a typical British country house. The location of the hotel is relatively biased, suitable for people who like quietness. Walk to the pier by Windermere Lake for about 20 minutes. Lunch and dinner can go to the nearby Tower Bank Arms

I have stayed in so many hotels in the UK this time, the only one that stepped on the pit. This is basically a family hotel operated by an Indian, not a chain hotel, and it really stepped on the pit. Our family of three, a child, said that the room was small and could not be accommodated. We temporarily charged 1,200 RMB for two nights, but we said that there was no room. We changed the room for the second night. Why do we have to charge two nights? There is no such problem in other hotel chains. Small family hotels will have this kind of thing, Trip.com should not be listed as such hotels. Compared with the price, if you can book a chain hotel, you can book a chain hotel. The facilities are also very general, that is, the mountain cabin, small and trendy. In terms of location, it is very close to the Windermere Railway Station in a straight line, but this is a barrier. In fact, you can't get through, you have to have enough time for the ferry, and you have to reverse the bus, and the traffic is very inconvenient. We came out of the train station and took a taxi around the lake for 30 minutes to spend 400 RMB.
