Food was brilliant, staff happy to help, not too far away from the airport. Swimming pools cold as expected but nice and clean able to get drinks from 11am until 11pm good entertainment in the evenings Can’t fault the place and will come back very soon. Thank you

We stayed in a Villa with a small private pool. The villa had a bathroom two bedrooms and an entrance hall with fridge. Room was dated but clean and comfortable. A bottle of wine and fruit was waiting when we arrived. The resort is on a hill so research before you book it was no problem for our family. Nice shop in the complex not too expensive. Snack bar and restaurants had plenty of choices you won’t go hungry. Pools were nice and all areas kept clean and tidy. Staff worked hard and were friendly and very helpful. I used the gym twice it had a selection of dumbbells a bench and a few exercises bikes and running machines. Overall a very good family holiday for the price.

First if you have disabilities this ISNT the place to come. There is minimal support and next to no accessibility’s. We arrived late and was given our room numbers. One staff member to help with our bags. There were 6 of us, my mum and dad who are both disabled (my had can barely walk and my mum has osteoarthritis as well as fibromyalgia) my children who both have autism and myself who has fibromyalgia and my husband. We got in the lift and went up one floor then had to climb 4 staircases outside which were leading up a mountain. Before we attempted the stairs we requested to be moved to be told there was zero option to move unless we paid extra. To come back the next day. After finally getting up to the room me and hubby and kids had another set to climb up to find they had put our children in separate rooms! One with us and one with my parents. Whilst in the room we discovered our AC didn’t blow out cold air, only a musty awful smell and the only way to turn it off was to keep the balcony door open. Our fridge didn’t work and every time you turn the tap on on the bathroom it flooded the sink, we figured out there was NO pipes connected from the plug to the drainage! Again we were told there were no available rooms and they would bring us up a fan. Which they did, and it had no front on it so the blade was exposed. Baring in mind we have autistic children ‍♀️ We woke up covered in bites, room FULL of ants and boiling hot! Oh and Still no room change as no one had left.. The all inclusive was shocking! Breakfast was okay! With lots of options. every other meal was poor. They said they had different themed nights but it didn’t seem like it. The food was the same stuff constantly and there was zero options for children other than pasta. They lived on dry pasta and bread rolls and every 2/3 nights they had chips as an option. Everyone who had children had the same complaints. Everything was greasy and lacked any sort of flavour. The drinks were shocking! Only one beer option and your usual spirits. No cocktails included. I could help myself to coffee but to ask for ice to make it an iced coffee would cost me €3.50 ‍♀️ You could access any form of drinks between 9am and 11am unless you went to the shop. The pools are salt water with added extra salt every morning and my kids came home with rashes that the GPs over here didn’t know how to treat. They had them for nearly 2 months! It really really stung your eyes. My dad also got an ear infection! The slides were open 11-5 and were also salt water. It was manned by a lifeguard that was also manning the pool at the top and all the kids got in trouble for playing/waiting in the pool at the bottom of the slide. Even though there wasn’t any signs or anything. The pictures are very much out of date too, there isn’t a bridge there anymore. And when we did finally move rooms after 4 days and then again 2 days later as that room was just as bad we didn’t get a single room that wasn’t outdated and

Wow, where should I start? Arrived at Heraklion about 8.30pm. Got our bags and transfer and got to hotel about 9.15pm. As soon as we checked in they made a mistake by only having us down for 1 room when there were 7 of us and had booked 2 suites. Had it sorted and asked if we could get some food. A bread roll, a slice of spam and a boiled egg with some measly salad was on offer. After that, we were taken up to our rooms, the luggage in a van but we had to walk, which was up a hill with a 35 degree incline, not great if you are elderly or have dodgy legs. Got to the room and first thing we noticed was the hygiene wasn't great. Beds were full of sand and bathroom sink and bath had massive uncovered sink holes which easily had things fall into them, and no plugs for either. Telephone and TV both weren't working. Great start. Next day we went exploring the hotel. Except sunbathing and swimming, there was absolutely NOTHING to do. No kids clubs, no entertainment, nothing. 1 poor pool table, 1 outdoor ping pong table with a couple of wooden bats with no rubber on and was great if you like rummaging for balls in the bushes, I broken punching machine and 1 basketball machine. There were no shuttles from the hotel, just local buses across a busy highway with crazy drivers to go to town. No nearby shops or amenities except one shop on site with a few drinks and snacks. Food was very samey, and lukewarm even when just brought out of kitchen. No choice for kids except a few chips and some pasta. Staff were downright miserable, couldn't manage to crack a smile. The ATM on site charges an 11% fee for transactions at a crap exchange rate so beware. Drinks were rubbish even for an all inclusive with no snacks offered at all. Had a windy night and the room was so badly sealed it was literally HOWLING! Overall nowhere near a 4 star, giving it 3 would be overly generous. Oh and also if you are elderly or have difficulty with your mobility I have to say please stay away. Steep hill or tiled stairs with no handrails, this place is a deathtrap, especially when it rains. Needless to say, won't be returning, even if you paid me.

Very few friendly staff, bar man is rude but nost of the men don’t know how to smile, best person there was the kitchen manager he couldn’t do enough for us with our son there is no kid friendly meals food is OK for us adults pools are dirty don’t look like they’ve been cleaned, supposed to be entertainment but if you call 10 min mini disco followed by a quiz or karaoke definitely won’t be coming back Sun lounges broke or dirty definitely not a 4 star!

Currently staying here and it definitely NOT the worst hotel ever. Food is amazing. Staff are not rude just some what abrupt but that’s probably the way they are and if anything the guests are more rude. Rooms are basic but I don’t want to stay in my room. Came here as a family of 7 youngest being 2 and found something to eat everyday. I would definitely come here again. My only bad comment out of everything is the Coca Cola. Not good more like cheap coke but I found an alternative drink, vodka and lemon. Apart from that having a great holiday. Please do not let the bad reviews put you off. Or better still do not read them and make your own judgement.

The hotel was like a little village. Beautiful and clean place. Staff was so kind and helpful. The food was only problem! I have a celiacia, so with the food was a problem. Only one person knew what food I can eat. And my food was the same whole week. And i didn't get ANY dessert. Others ate tens different cakes, sweet mousse and jelly's. I ate watermelon and orange. Whole week.

This is our worst hotel ever. I read most of the reviews. Unfortunately the bad reviews are the same experience that we had . I don’t know is it this hotel particularly or what. They even served moulded orange for dinners(photo attached) My bed sheet hasn’t been changed. There’s like a stained marked for days, it was still there on my last day ( photo attached) I noticed the tap water is very salty I even questioned the receptionist is your tap water are drinking water. She hesitated for a second and said yes. The water literally is salty. Can’t even have a normal tea. Because is salty. I can taste it when brushing my teeth and showering. We have to walked up extra 55 steps/ stairs after taken the lift to the second floor to get to our room plus the hallway. We are not there for a training camp session and I’m not young. It not like we booked our holiday at last minute. We booked and paid in 5-4-2024 for September 2024 and this hotel still gave us this rooms up the mountain. The most worst part is the food. I know there are not going to be good quality food due to profit. I understand that. But the taste and presentation is absolutely awful and disgusting. I either get diabetes induced coma or kidney failure or both. The food is always over cooked, sugary. Almost every dish they actually cooked are taste the same awful just vile. Can’t even get a decent coffee and tea. The breakfast is the worse everyday are the same while we were there. The supposedly fizzy drinks is just taste sugary. We ate out a few times due to the awfulness of the food. We bought bottles of water to make our tea in our bedroom. Flies everywhere in the dining area can’t imagine what is like inside their kitchen Don’t get me wrong. All The staff which I contacted are extremely helpful, kind , nice and always smile. Service were good. Can’t say that about the presentation ,quality and taste of the food. There are just appalling, disgusting, vile . We are not the only one saying that. We even heard dinner complaining the same thing as us to their travel agent Kim from jet2 holiday while we were there sitting in the lounge hoping to change to a different hotel. We hope there’s no more next holiday makers will suffer from going to this hotel. AVOID This event will put us off totally in Greece. We won’t be travelling to Greece no more and I will tell EVERYONE that we know what happened and don’t come to Crete especially this Mediterraneo Hotel. I work in a warehouse and there are thousands of people and I thinking of putting up a notice in the dining hall for colleagues to see how bad the food is in this hotel. 15-9-2024 11:46am. I was walking back to my room from the snack bar area. Passed two gentlemen exchanging information how disgusting this hotel is. 15-9-2024 8:52pm. I have INFORMED the restaurant manager that the vegetable soup was very salty and he said he doesn’t taste everything and let the chef know. The soup was so vile that I only manag
