Best Hotels near Bach Dang Jetty Dock, Ho Chi Minh City

We stayed at Riverside Hotel for a night as a transition to our main hotel in Saigon. Since we arrived in the city very early and check-in to our hotel was not until later, we opted for a temp accommodation for a few hours of rest. However, we still had a pleasant experience during our stay. 1. Location - It is located right opposite the riverside in Saigon. The location is in District 1 where most of the points of interest are located. In fact, a lot of points are walkable from here including the Opera House and the walking street. Location-wise, it is a perfect place. 2. Accommodation - The rooms are nicely put and serve the purpose, especially at the price. The rooms were clean and well-equipped. We were staying only for a few hours but could have been there for a couple of days as well. 3. Food - We visited the breakfast buffet and it was decently sized. However, given we are vegetarians, we had to make do with toast and fruits. 4. Hospitality & Service - The hospitality and services were great, and over our expectations. We reached the hotel in the dead of the night (around 1 AM) and they were ready for us. The reception was alert and check-in was prompt. 5. Others - The hotel is a nice place for a couple of days if you are on a budget and are looking for a place near all touristy points of interest.

But everything else was ok. I was very pessimistic given the bad reviews that I have read. But I was VERY surprised. The receptionist did speak English and helped with my luggage. The room was as pictured. There was even hot water. There was no drinking water provided though but it wasn't a dealbreaker.

This hotel room blew me away! Impeccably clean, it felt like a cozy haven. The shower was a spa-level experience – hot water on demand, fantastic pressure. Everything was in top-notch condition, making my stay incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend for a delightful and rejuvenating getaway! 👏

Awesome place! Great location, close to everything. It's a brand new hotel, it just opened. It has a brand new washer & dryer to use, so you don't have to take your laundry anywhere. Very old & tired room, mouldy bathroom, tap water. Our standing shower water didn't run smoothly, always got flooded and takes a while to drain out the water. Good point is their location is perfect for muslim traveller, whole stretch of the street opposite of halal muslim restaurant. Situated at the well known Malaysian street. Helpful staff assisting us with our luggage upon arrival & check out. Friendly staff (the guy with a spec) who checked us in. Do take note hotel doesn't have any universal adaptor & therefore we had to purchase 1 from the shop outside. And only 1 lift to accommodate hotel guests access to every level which runs really really slow. Restaurant place for breakfast is really small to accommodate the huge crowd. We came down at 630am and the place is really crowded. Halal breakfast with varieties of choice to eat. Before coming here, I heard Aluna has revamp the hotel but sadly not really clean and really outdated room. Maybe a pass for this.

It was interesting that the hotel entrance leads into a cafe on the first floor. The staff were friendly and quick to respond, making my stay comfortable.

I arrived at dawn on a backpacking trip and stayed in a 4-person dormitory room to sleep for a while until the morning. The accommodation itself was very nice and I was very satisfied. Compared to bunk bed dormitories, the bed was hotel-style, so it was comfortable, and the curtains were good, so personal privacy wasn't bad. A bit like a Japanese capsule hotel? However, there was a feeling that the storage space was a bit lacking around the bed except for the large locker. Also, the thing that came to be lacking the most was that hot water did not come out. I thought it wouldn't come out because it was dawn, so I washed it and waited for the next day, but it didn't come out the next day either, so I took a cold shower. However, it was not completely cold water because it was Southeast Asia, but it was cold enough to take a shower. Anyway, it is positively evaluated for being able to check in early in the morning.

The apartment rooms are exquisitely decorated, the service attitude is good, and the customer service can speak Chinese, which is really convenient. If you don't understand something abroad, you can still ask her. The apartment is next to Tower 81 and has a nice view of the city center. The rooms are well-equipped with kitchenware and provide a great experience.

I have a business trip in Jan 2023 for a week. I booked 6 nights to stay in this hotel which is just next to Ben Thành Market. The hotel is clean and comfortable. But the shower knob is difficult to turn. Staff is ok. The location is very good for money exchange. The price is very reasonable. I was arranged at lower floor, it was a bit noisy. If you are looking for a hotel in Quan 1. Recommended but please ask for higher floor.

This was a very pleasant accommodation experience. The sincere and sweet smiles of the girls at the front desk, the friendly, warm and polite service, the bows to express gratitude when we came in and out, and the help to solve any difficulties and problems we encountered made us unforgettable. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, the room facilities are very new, and the drinks in the refrigerator are free. The location of the hotel is also very good, and it is very convenient to eat, drink and play. I recommend everyone to stay here, it's great👍👍👍
