"The location is near dagu glacier and you can relax and chill at the hotel after a day of walking. The rooms are huge and there is an area for us (Group of friends) to chitchat and chill! The bed and the room are all heated and you will feel very cozy and warm even though it is super cold outside. You do not have to fret about food. They have hotpot dinner to warm your tummy and is super yummy! The breakfast was awesome too with porridge and a variety of baos. We had a great breakfast before continuing our journey. The laobanniang was very sweet and nice too as they kept ensuring that we are all good and even help us to carry our luggages to 2nd floor. We really recommend the stay if you come over to the area!"

"Location: Right on the road of Cailin, the scenery will definitely be beautiful in November. Transportation: It takes about 2.5 hours to take a taxi from Maoxian, about 5 minutes to drive from the B&B to the ancient glacier, and about 20 minutes to drive to Yangrong Had, but it is very difficult to get a taxi in Heishui. We only rely on the B&B owner to ask the neighbors to help pick up and drop off at the glacier. If you don’t drive yourself, you must arrange transportation before you get there. Surroundings: There are no restaurants for several kilometers, so you either bring your own dry food or you can only eat at the B&B. I ordered a 200 yuan hot pot, which is a few vegetables and beef. The portion for four people is enough, but the taste is average. Facilities: The B&B is ******* style, there is no elevator, it is a bit difficult to carry large luggage upstairs, and the corridor is very dark. It is decorated with solid wood, so the room is a bit damp, and the bathroom is a squat toilet, which is a bit blocked. Dagu Glacier: We arrived at 1 pm, when there were few people and no need to queue. Tickets are expensive, but it is still worth going. It takes 40 minutes for the sightseeing bus to go up the mountainside. There are many bends along the way. Friends who are prone to motion sickness should take motion sickness medicine first. After reaching the mountainside, take the cable car. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. The scenery of the snow-capped mountains along the way is very shocking. The top of the mountain is not as cold as imagined, and the altitude sickness is not as terrible as imagined. One or two bottles of oxygen per person are enough, but you must pay attention to slow movements, not running or jumping, otherwise it will be uncomfortable. Pay attention to anti-slip, people keep falling along the way. Be sure to bring gloves, you can play in the snow, and you have to hold the railing. I thought the cafe was very stylish, but the environment is far worse than expected. The view outside the window is also very ordinary, and the consumption is expensive. You can't see the glacier in February, and you may have to wait until the snow melts in spring and summer to see it."

"Excellent hotel with unmatched hospitality! This hotel is only 4 months old, the lobby and the dining room are decorated in the ******* style while the rooms are modern style. The room was spacious, sparkling clean, and comfortable. This hotel is family-run and their hospitality was unparalleled! They were eager to help even though the guy spoke little English (I consider his English skill as above average from my 10-day trip around Chengdu). They also offered dining service and their meals were delicious while being affordable. The included breakfast was great too, they served traditional noodles with light soup with some proteins and peas on top. The location is great. It took 15-20 minutes from the hotel to reach Dagu Glacier tourist center in winter (icy roads) so in summer when you can drive faster it will be less than 10 minutes. You can reach Heishui city center in less than 20 minutes (again, winter roads) Highly recommended."

It had all the necessary amenities and was of decent quality, especially the hot water. The only downside was the quilt was too thick, which the owner has indicated they plan to improve.
