Hotels in Hong Kong are generally quite expensive with small rooms. I opted for this one primarily because its mid-range price point aligned well with my budget. The room itself wasn't small and felt quite spacious.
The hotel boasts a good location. It's about a 15-minute walk from Sha Tin MTR station. Alternatively, if you prefer not to walk, several bus routes from Sha Tin station stop directly in front of the hotel, which is just one stop away.
The hotel facilities are a bit dated, so don't set your expectations too high; it doesn't even compare to a typical 3-star hotel in mainland China. However, given Hong Kong's prices, this hotel offers pretty good value for money.
My room only had a bathtub, no separate shower, which was a bit inconvenient as I usually shower. Interestingly, a smaller room I booked also had a shower. So, I'd recommend contacting the hotel directly when booking to clarify the room type and amenities.
The hotel offers pleasant views from the room, overlooking both mountains and a river – truly beautiful and refreshing.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. While the selection isn't extensive, it includes staples like bread, fried noodles, fried vermicelli, sausages, eggs, yogurt porridge, and siumai. Beverages like coffee, tea, and juice are also available. The food was prepared cleanly, and it was sufficient to fill you up.
Both check-in and check-out processes were very quick, especially check-out, where you simply drop your room key card into a designated box.
I had a relatively long stay in Hong Kong this time. For day trips, I found it very convenient to catch buses directly from the hotel entrance. Bus 81c takes you straight to Tsim Sha Tsui, and if you're heading to Sai Kung, the 299x route is direct. I visited Sai Kung for the first time on this trip to see the sea and islands, and the water was exceptionally clean. I highly recommend taking a bus from the hotel entrance; it's only about a 30-minute ride.
New Town Plaza at Sha Tin station also offers a wide range of shops and some excellent dining options. All in all, this hotel provides good value for money.

We really enjoyed this hotel. My Mum and I recently spent three nights here. The hotel is very clean and tidy and has a luxurious feel. We were given a lovely room over the river, large bathroom, comfy beds. Large gym and we were hoping to use the pool but this was closed each day because of the rain. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The location of the hotel was quite good. An adjacent McDonald’s and local convenience stores were handy as well as a short ten minute walk to more restaurants and the MTR train line which gives access to wherever you want to go. You are a little far away from main attractions but we knew that when booking. Would stay again

I booked a double suite here a week ago. It was my first time in Hong Kong, and I assumed Mong Kok would be relatively unsafe. After reading numerous reviews of B&Bs, I felt even more apprehensive. So, I decided to stay for one night and then extend my stay if the environment was good. Arriving in Mong Kok, I was unfamiliar with the area, so I got lost for a while. Once I found my way, I discovered there were two entrances, one closed after 11 PM. There were also two elevators at each entrance, one for odd and one for even numbers. Upon check-in, the host was very welcoming. Perhaps because the double room was full or something else, they gave us a triple room with a window at no extra charge. The door had a combination lock, and the room was spotless, with spotless floors and immaculately white walls. There was no clutter on the bed, and the quilt was neatly folded. The bathroom was also spotless, with no odors or debris. It was a bit cramped, and the toilet had a long, lingering clatter after flushing, which I hope could be improved. There was also a small TV in the room, but the channel selection was a bit limited. The room also provided hangers, slippers, shampoo, and shower gel, but you had to bring your own toothpaste. Seeing this, I decided to renew my lease the next day. To my surprise, the double room seemed to be sold out. The landlord then asked me what I had paid for the room. Before I could find my bill, the landlord had already extended my stay for another night at 350 RMB, which was 2 RMB lower than the price on the platform! Overall, I personally felt the room was better than the promotional photos, exceeding my expectations. The landlord's service attitude also made me sincerely decide to write a positive review for her. 👍 I will definitely choose this B&B again next time.

Basically you can, but the room is close to the washing machine, someone is doing laundry too early in the morning, and no windows, to go out of the front desk to add drinking water, add a quilt, and no, the bed is too small, it is impossible to live two people.

The room is very small, with an aisle between the twin beds, so the suitcase can only be placed on the bed. The bathroom is also small, and toothbrush sets need to be purchased separately. The sanitation is OK. The sound insulation is very poor, and you can't sleep unless the person next door is sleeping. The water storage heater is used, so you should take a shower during off-peak hours, otherwise there will be no hot water. The staff is very friendly.

Rooms that are too small are not livable and provide a poor experience for tourists. Apart from being conveniently located in the center of the city, there is nothing to recommend it. The attitude of the waiter was good, but the mattress was so poor that it almost affected my sleep.

Facilities: It meets the description, and basically has everything you need. There is a water dispenser at the door, and you can pick up a hair dryer at the door.
Hygiene: It's okay, mainly in the corridor, but it's understandable.
Environment: There is a 711 across the street, and it's in a busy area in Mong Kok. There are also some places to visit around.
Service: The front desk auntie can speak Mandarin, and there is a service lady who is also responsible for reception. Although she doesn't speak Mandarin, she can understand basic communication. I checked out very early in the morning, and I just put the door card in the small wooden box at their door. Overall, it's okay.

economically great for family travellers, good location as it is accessible to night market, MTR and surrounded with malls and restaurants but inside hostel is quiet and can rest peacefully. the only comment i had is some guests still insist to smoke even there are restrictions.
