Great
TtabimemoI was really satisfied. I stayed one night in an ocean view suite on a high floor. We were a large group of six people, but there were two baths and two toilets, so it was more than spacious enough. When I mentioned that we had a birthday guest when making the reservation, they prepared a very cute birthday plate for us. The ocean view from the room was beautiful, and the location was great, so I was very satisfied. I would like to stay here again when I come to Hawaii. There are staff who can speak Japanese, so it's reassuring.
GGuest UserWe enjoyed our trip and the stay at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. Although we recommend purchasing gifts, water and food off-resort due to the super inflated prices, the staff was excellent and kind. Get a room in the Lagoon or Makai tower to oversee the dolphins. Ours was an ocean view and it was breathtaking. As far as hotel rooms go, it was pretty standard but clean and comfortable. It was a good landing place between adventures. Pricey but worth it for being a safe and family-friendly place. Do the buffet for breakfast but not every day as you’ll get sick of it 🤣 or your kids will just eat the cereal for $55/adult and $27/kid or something. 🤣
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is ideal: there are many good restaurants; Ala Moana Shopping Center, one of the largest in world; beaches; and interesting places.
XXIANXIAIt is not convenient to go out next door here. The environment is good. It's a pity that I don't know English and can only look at the translator. Get up in the morning to watch the sunrise. . The attitude and service are also good. . . Ctrip is also very helpful in translating. . . 😘
GGuest UserThe hotel is located conveniently close to the airport. A bit tricky to find. We walked to the hotel from the airport. With our suitcases, a bit further than expected. Lots of noise from the traffic. Room was clean. Service was friendly. A bit disappointing when we picked up a rental car and retrieved our suitcases. Because we stayed at the parking lot 16 min. (1 minute longer than alotted we had to pay parking fees.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in the center of Waikiki. A lot of shops and restaurants are nearby.I
The beaches are 100 meters away. The famous hotels Moana Surfrider and Hyatt Regency are across the street. Royal Waikiki Center is a beautiful mall nearby. There are a lot of luxury retail stores and restaurants in the mall.
EEdwinThe hotel is located near the airport which is excellent for transient passengers. However, if you plan to stay for visit you may want to consider staying near the tourist spot. We need to take an UBER to another hotel as this hotel is not jn the route of the tour bus where taking going to Pearl Harbor.
The staff are friendly and accommodating especially Emil who’s one of the Filipino in the front desk. However, I cannot say the same to the other Filipino staff who’s name I will not say. He needs to polish on his hospitality skills and the way he speaks to the guest of the hotel. You also need to tell front desk everyday that you need them to make up your room as they will not do so since the Covid hits.
There’s a free internet available specific to our room but this becomes unavailable after a couple of days stay and we need to connect to the WiFi of other rooms.
There’s a Chinese restaurant nearby who serves excellent Chinese food.
MmrKarstenStaying at Manoa Inn feels like stepping into a living piece of Honolulu’s layered past. This plantation-style historical house is full of quiet character, from its timeworn woodwork to the gentle creak of its stairways. The inn is surrounded by gardens that seem to breathe—ferns unfolding, orchids slipping open, birds singing from hidden corners. One morning, I sipped coffee to the chatter of parrots and caught the city unfolding below through a frame of palms.
The location is as thoughtful as the house itself—steps away from the East-West Center, the serene carp garden, and the Manoa Japanese Tea House. Nearby cafés and small eateries feed both hunger and curiosity without fanfare. Nothing here feels manufactured. The inn doesn’t shout for attention—it invites you to listen, to linger, to notice. I left with a sense of having not just visited, but having been quietly welcomed.
GGuest UserThere is a main building and an annex, but the annex is really bad, and if you stay in the main building, the cost-effectiveness is really good! I stayed for 3 nights and stayed in the annex on the first day and was so depressed that I paid extra money to upgrade my room to the main building, and I was very satisfied! And it's very noisy because it's a downtown area, so take that into consideration! This is a picture of the bathroom when I stayed in the annex, but there was no ventilation and no lighting in the shower cubicle.. It was poor. Compare it with the pictures of the main building!
