Prince Waikiki ★★★★
"This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. From the complete facilities and the exceptional staff service to the convenience store with daily necessities and the endless ocean view right across the street, it truly felt like the best hotel we stayed at during our entire Hawaii trip. We'll definitely be back if we ever visit again."
Polynesian Hostel Beach Club ★★★
"I booked a single dormitory. There are foreigners there. The location is very good. The quality of sleep depends on whether there are snorers in your dormitory. Foreigners have a strong perfume smell. If you mind, don't book it. The facilities are relatively complete. You can cook by yourself. There is a public refrigerator and storage cabinets."
Holiday Inn Express WAIKIKI by IHG ★★★
"Great location, beautiful surroundings, and a good breakfast. This hotel offers excellent value for money!"
Waikiki Resort Hotel ★★★
"Great location, but the front office staff needs improvement."
Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort ★★★★
A beachfront Waikiki resort featuring five pools, a private lagoon, lush tropical grounds, and endless dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
Shoreline Hotel Waikiki ★★★★
"I was traveling alone, and it was perfectly sufficient!"
Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Waikiki ★★★
"Parking is $30 a night, which is considered cheap for Waikiki."
Waikiki Beachside Hostel ★★
"Beach gear can be rented for free. The room has a living room and kitchen, which is nice. It's very close to the beach! You can go swimming every day. The downside is that the air conditioner in the room is very noisy and faces one of the beds."
Hilton Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa ★★★★
"Great location just a couple minutes walk to the beach. Generally good experience although the property is slightly worn and food options, while okay, were limited. Biggest problem was the WiFi. It was very erratic, dropping out repeatedly which was frustrating and annoying. I was told they had just upgraded the Wi-Fi but it was one of the poorer major hotel chain Wi-Fi connections I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. It was also slightly irritating that they couldn’t extend my checkout, even for 1/2 hour without charging me a half day room rate."

Queen Kapiolani Hotel
"Check-in isn't until 3 PM. I was given a room on the 4th floor, right above the pool and restaurant. Guests in the restaurant were incredibly loud, both during the day and late into the night. I had to request a room change, but the new room was a different category – without a kitchen or dishes. They haven't sent me the receipt for my stay, even though I brought it to their attention. My deposit was blocked on my card when I checked in, and I'm still waiting for it to be returned. Otherwise, I really liked the hotel."
The Equus
"Great location. Great front desk staff. Even though traditional room is clean."
Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort
"Staff at House keeping, pool and restaurant are very friendly"
Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina
"Not bad, very comfortable"
Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach
"Rooms were ok paid extra for oceanview room - it was adjoining room. Door not locked. Room next door had a party all night. Heard every word. Walls paper thin. Next door tried to get in through adjoining g door. Big fight at 4am with many expletives. Then at 5.30 marathon on beach kept us awake. Next night kids in hall way yelling. People in next door kept us awake with loud voices all night. Would not stay here again."
Halekulani
"Great location on Waikiki, very nice private and quiet beach. The rooms are new and very clean. The staff service is impeccable. Would have been nice to have some fruits in the room and more advices from the concierge to help organize interesting tours. Our room was facing the ocean and the view is beautiful!"
Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Waikiki Beach
"The location is unbeatable, and the view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. There's a mall right downstairs with tons of food options – it's truly in the heart of everything, super convenient. The Diamond Head view was breathtaking! While it is an older hotel, the bellhop service was just okay, and the front desk wasn't great."
Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach, Honolulu
"The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Despite the language barrier, they patiently used translation software to communicate with us. The hotel's location is fantastic – very close to the beach, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants right downstairs. Public transport is also super convenient, just a step away. Thumbs up! 👍"
Hotel la Croix
"The facilities and decor are quite old, but for this price, you can't expect too much. Hotels in the Waikiki area, especially those near the ocean and beach, usually cost upwards of $600. American hotels typically don't provide toiletries or slippers, but this was the first time I encountered a hotel without even tissues or bottled water. There's a water dispenser in the lobby on the first floor where you can refill your own. Breakfast only offered two choices: scrambled eggs and potatoes, plus coffee. The service, however, was quite good. The front desk allowed me to check in early, which I appreciated. The staff also kindly lent me a kettle because I enjoy drinking tea."
Waikiki Malia
"The location is great! It's situated on a commercial street just two blocks from Waikiki Beach, so it's super close to the ocean. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so you'll never have to worry about finding a place to eat. The cleanliness and service were also top-notch; the staff were very warm and attentive. The environment is lovely, and there's even a bubble pool on the first floor to enjoy. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy at night with the street traffic, but having a small balcony to enjoy the view more than makes up for it! It's just so convenient, and the price is reasonable too!"
Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa
Steps from Waikiki Beach, this oceanfront resort offers Pacific views, a pool overlooking the coast, spa treatments, and island-inspired experiences.
Ilikai Hotel & Luxury Suites
"It's OK, there is a balcony, the room is big, but it feels a bit old"
Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, Waikiki Beach
"The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient. Getting around is also a breeze. Since this hotel just opened in 2025, the facilities are still in great condition."
Imperial Hawaii Resort
"The price is relatively cheap for Hawaii. The best part is the location; there's a convenience store downstairs, and the neighborhood is lively but not noisy. I recommend staying here. 80/100"
