Great
55613****Aside from being too expensive, there's almost nothing wrong with it. The service is excellent, a world apart from hotels in major cities in the Eastern US, which is understandable given this is a tourist city. Special praise to the bespectacled concierge, he was incredibly professional, patient, attentive, enthusiastic, and efficient! The only downside is that some ocean-view rooms have large air conditioning units downstairs, which are noisy day and night. If you're on a lower floor, it can be quite loud. We were on the 16th floor, and it was okay at night with earplugs. Don't eat breakfast at the hotel!! It's $48 per person, drinks are extra, plus a 20% service charge. I even tipped them without realizing it, so it ended up costing over $150 for two people! Crazy! There's an Eggs Things store a few dozen meters to the right of the hotel, it looks delicious and looks appealing, and it opens at 7 am.

NNoskovI usually book with the Marriott down the street whenever I’m in Waikiki but I opted to try the Hyatt for the first time; it was also a little cheaper than the Marriott the day that I went. I got a King room with a city view on the 7th floor. The room was large, clean and one of the corners of the tower so it had a curving layout. Overall the room was clean, bed was comfortable, A/C was cold. My only little gripe was in the bathroom, there weren’t any shampoos or conditioners or body wash in the tub like other hotels. Can’t say much for service since I was only there for a day but the employees I did interact with were friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay there again.

SSteven711Great staff—always willing to help. The lobby is really nice, with a beautiful aquarium and comfortable seating areas. The room is smaller compared to Hilton Hawaiian Village, but we loved the clean décor. Our balcony had an ocean view, which was really nice. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy. We would definitely stay here again.

MMeilihukanshijieThe hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of the commercial street, and it is very convenient to go shopping and eat. The beach is right outside the swimming pool area on the first floor of the hotel. The coastal restaurants on the first and second floors of the hotel have great views, so you have to wait for a table during dinner time. The room is very large, and the king-size bed with sea view is very comfortable. It is also very pleasant to sit on the balcony and watch the sea.

EE0013****Let's start with the positives: The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a stunning ocean view, and I woke up to the beautiful beach every morning 🥰. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful 🫶. The room was also very spacious; coming from Tokyo to Hawaii, I really appreciated the upgrade in space 😍. There are many bus routes right outside the hotel, making it easy to get to Pearl Harbor. The Pink Line of the 'Waikiki Trolley' also stops directly at the hotel entrance, which is great for going shopping at Ala Moana. Now for some areas for improvement: The room didn't have many amenities, and there was no free bottled water. It's a bit far from shopping and dining areas; getting to lively spots usually takes more than a 10-minute walk. However, if you love surfing 🏄‍♂️, this is a great choice as the beach is just a short walk away.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in the center of Waikiki. A lot of shops and restaurants are nearby.I The beaches are 100 meters away. The famous hotels Moana Surfrider and Hyatt Regency are across the street. Royal Waikiki Center is a beautiful mall nearby. There are a lot of luxury retail stores and restaurants in the mall.

GGuest UserI don’t usually do reviews but I have to because people should know what they are buying and not be surprised when they get there. I’m not a hard person to please so I choose this hotel which in my opinion was actually a motel. If you know the difference between a hotel and a motel you understood that. Anyway the rooms are very small the decor is out dated very little amenities a free water bottle when you check in, hard pillows, no printing station for the guest, no hotel transportation or shuttle toilet ran all night the shower was dirty small bathroom with very low water pressure the only thing I enjoyed about my stay was my ocean front room I stayed on the patio the majority of the time we where inside our room. The view made up for the horrible room/hotel I would never stay there again when doing my search it kept saying that was the only hotel that had ocean front so be aware when booking your trip to Hawaii because that’s not true!!!

MmrKarstenStaying at Manoa Inn feels like stepping into a living piece of Honolulu’s layered past. This plantation-style historical house is full of quiet character, from its timeworn woodwork to the gentle creak of its stairways. The inn is surrounded by gardens that seem to breathe—ferns unfolding, orchids slipping open, birds singing from hidden corners. One morning, I sipped coffee to the chatter of parrots and caught the city unfolding below through a frame of palms. The location is as thoughtful as the house itself—steps away from the East-West Center, the serene carp garden, and the Manoa Japanese Tea House. Nearby cafés and small eateries feed both hunger and curiosity without fanfare. Nothing here feels manufactured. The inn doesn’t shout for attention—it invites you to listen, to linger, to notice. I left with a sense of having not just visited, but having been quietly welcomed.

GGuest UserThere is a main building and an annex, but the annex is really bad, and if you stay in the main building, the cost-effectiveness is really good! I stayed for 3 nights and stayed in the annex on the first day and was so depressed that I paid extra money to upgrade my room to the main building, and I was very satisfied! And it's very noisy because it's a downtown area, so take that into consideration! This is a picture of the bathroom when I stayed in the annex, but there was no ventilation and no lighting in the shower cubicle.. It was poor. Compare it with the pictures of the main building!
