Zhenjiang Hotels with Hot Tub

All good except the room service, which I was forced to use, as I had to work late from my room. Ordering was not at all simple (having not spotted the QR code notice on the fridge work top. But response was swift, so too was delivery of the order. However, the ”Ceasar Salad” was sorrowful! Lettuce leaves awash in some sort of watery white fluid, with no discernable taste, some croutons and a few pieces of dried bacon. Especially disappointing given how lovely the fruit and vegetables are most of the time in China. Main course ”Lemon and Herb Chicken” should have been listed as ”Lemon and Herb Skin and Bones”!!! There was virtually NO actual chicken meat. Roated tomatoes and asparagus were lovely, Dessert was uninspiring, but compared to the salad and main course for sure the best course. The Wine? Completely undrinkable. Opened, poured a small amount to taste, spoilt. It happens, sadly! Would be a good idea to open the wine to test before serving

This is our first time to Zhenjiang. This hotel is within 10 minutes taxi ride from Zhenjiang railway station. On 27 Dec 2023, we arrived late at night and all the shops nearby the hotel have already closed. So, no dinner. The reception staff, Fang Rong and 张师傅, took good care of us by offering snacks and carried our luggage into the room. The hotel’s location and environment are fantastic! It is located at Xijindu ancient street where you can stroll along the ancient street. The museum and old British consulate are within walking distance from the hotel, through the ancient street, past a 观音 cave. Another tourist spot, Jinshan 金山 is also within 20 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel’s breakfast is delicious and good value for money. The hotel’s room is very clean, very comfortable and very nice. The hotel’s staff Steven is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Upon check out, we got a small trinket as souvenir. I had a pleasant stay and will definitely choose this hotel again. Thank you all for the outstanding service and warm hospitality during our stay.

I took my parents to Zhenjiang for a weekend trip and stayed at Shuxiang Mansion Hotel. This hotel is located in Xijindu, a historical ancient street in Zhenjiang, and is very close to the famous ”Three Mountains” (Jinshan, Jiaoshan, and Beigushan), making it very convenient for travel. The guest rooms of Shuxiang Mansion Hotel are distributed in Bao's Money House and Yuntai Tower built during the Republic of China period. Mr. Sun Yat-sen once stayed and gave a speech here, with a rich historical and cultural heritage. The guest room facilities are high-end and exquisite, with an antique style, which is exactly what my parents want. The four of us lived in the two-bedroom and one-living room on the ground floor of Bao's Money House. There was a patio at the entrance, which was ventilated and easy to light. The layout of the hall is like a study, with all the four treasures of the study. Dad put down his luggage and spread out the paper and wrote quickly. The hotel front desk was very considerate and said that Hanfu could be borrowed for free. Mom was very happy and immediately borrowed a set of Hanfu to take pictures in the elegant environment. The breakfast is a set meal for each person (one bowl of pot-lid noodles + one crab meat steamed bun, one fresh meat steamed bun, one vegetable bun, one marinated egg and braised meat, the noodles and steamed buns are freshly cooked) + semi-self-service, with fruits, salads, bread, coffee, pickles, and millet porridge. The hotel rooms are not only well-equipped, but also warm-hearted, which can be reflected in the details. When guests check in, the service staff will carry their luggage to the room for them, and explain in detail how to use the facilities. The room has already been filled with welcome fruits. In addition, freshly cooked Tremella soup will be delivered in the evening, making people feel at home.

Facilities: Except that the TV cannot be projected, everything else is very good. Environment: The internet-famous Gyeonggi Road is right outside, and the ancient town is a few hundred meters away. It is very close to scenic spots such as Jinshan Temple and Zhenjiang Museum, which is very convenient. Service: The housekeeper Xiaoqi is very dedicated. After the phone communication, he added WeChat and gave me the guide in advance, which facilitated me to plan and modify the itinerary. Later, because the TV in the room could not be projected, the hotel also solved it in a very friendly and positive manner. I will book again next time.

Zhenjiang is my father's hometown. I once passed by on a business trip in the late 1990s. I remember that time I only visited Jinshan Temple. So this time I came to Zhenjiang after retirement. I read the Zhenjiang travel guide on Xiaohongshu, which recommended staying in hotels in the Xijindu area. So I searched on Ctrip and found that there were many hotels with good locations in Xijindu, and it was almost difficult to choose. After comprehensive consideration, I chose Shuxiang Xinbo Hotel. Among the hotels with a rating of 4.5 or above, I prefer the design style of the hotel, which is a combination of traditional and new designs. I was just worried that there would be no parking spaces for self-driving tours (the reviews said that there were few parking spaces at the door), so I contacted the hotel in advance to confirm the parking spaces. They said that there were still parking spaces at the door, and the hotel had another parking lot nearby, so there was no need to worry. Fortunately, we were able to park at the door for the two nights we stayed. Probably because of the off-season, I booked a double bed room, and the hotel upgraded it to a suite for free, with an elevator (the hotel was renovated from an old house in the Republic of China, and the building is about 4 or 5 floors high). The suite has a living room + cloakroom + standard king-size bed room. The space is relatively large and clean. The 2-meter-wide bed has good bedding, soft and comfortable, very nice. In addition to the standard toiletries, the bathroom is also equipped with a bathtub film. This is the only one we have seen in the multiple hotels we have stayed in since we drove all the way from Guangzhou. For this reason, this is also the only time we dare to take a bath in the bathtub in the hotel to relieve fatigue. The plastic slippers in the room need to be called to the front desk (this is the experience gained from this self-driving tour). The little robot will send the slippers up and will notify by phone. It is silent when walking and does not disturb people. It is very cute. Looking at the comments, there are criticisms about the electric control switch in the room. Sure enough, the design of the electric control switch is too alternative and niche, and the operation is not intuitive. You can only grope for the buttons. It feels that it is not suitable for hotel use, especially for the elderly. However, the switch is a small flaw and has little impact. Overall, the hotel experience is still very good and cost-effective.

I slept until 10am and thought I missed the hotel breakfast, so I called the front desk. I didn't expect that breakfast could be delivered to the room at 10:30! So thoughtful! The preparation was very attentive, please see the photo~ It was a really big bowl of noodles! Super rich! Better than eating out! The auntie who delivered the food was super nice, smiling and cute! A high-end hotel with convenient parking and good service attitude, especially the room lady, who was very warm and thoughtful. I forgot to ask her name and couldn't specifically praise her, which was a pity. The facilities were generally satisfactory, but there were some shortcomings. After all, it is an old hotel and needs to be improved. In addition, it is recommended to add local travel guide content in the lobby

The location of the hotel is excellent, even it can be said to be part of Xijindu Ancient Street, and you can see the building of the British Consulate in the room. The parking lot is sufficient and the management is strict. Two accommodation buildings, one banquet building. It is best to eat in Xijindu Ancient Street. Miss Zhou Jia Er and Su Xi are often more famous. The hotel is clean, quiet at night, the facilities are very new, the bathroom is large, and the wet and dry are separated. The front desk Panpan service is warm and thoughtful, and the problem-solving ability is strong. The waiter who cooks noodles in the restaurant is active and enthusiastic, and takes the trouble to introduce Zhenjiang specialties. In short, this hotel is worth the money and I am very satisfied with staying for two consecutive nights. Later, Zhenjiang looked for this one.

The front desk service was good 👍 The mattress was very soft, the waiter helped to change one side and took off the down mat. Breakfast was good, there was meat this morning; there were few customers in the off-season. Lunch and dinner were eaten in the restaurant on the first floor.

C'est un très bel hôtel situé à la campagne dans un beau cadre agreste. Il est assez difficilement accessible sans voiture bien qu'il ne soit qu'à quelques kilomètres de la ville. Je m'y suis néanmoins rendue à bicyclette. Les chambres sont très grandes avec tout le confort.
