Eva Homestay

Kind welcome by owner, a detailed info session of whats around, tourist highlights and pricing variabilities. The Good * central location and able to walk to many places * Room large enough for 2 people and a few bags * 2 small bottles of water and drinking water available if needed * Beds very firm but surprisingly ok, pillows seem to be years old and should be replaced. The Not So Good * Noise - rooms hear all chat and noise from entry level reception (owners loungeroom), it echoes straight up staircase. Family eating, children etc... unpleasant if you are trying to rest in your room. * remote for tv missing, found one in another room that worked our * Hairdryer supplied but no points near a mirror, no outlet in bathroom and one outlet on wall isnt near a mirror * Room 201 is dark, the door windows to small balcony are painted over in black. The one fixed light in room is stark big bright neon globe. The 2 windows are dark as only 1.5m from neighbours so hardly any light filters in, and you have zero privacy, sadly you cannot leave the blackened door open (we did to get a little light in and ended up with a room full of mosquitos) * Hot water. First shower is ok, anyone going second can get a cold shower, only happened once.

I stayed at Eva's four nights and really loved my stay. It can be hard to choose accomodation, but I found Eva's Homestay on a forum. Wow- so glad I booked! Eva's Homestay is in a great location, beautiful coffee shops nearby, easy walk to the river and great restaurant recommendations from Eva, I had everything I needed. My balcony room was also clean and spacious, with kettle, fridge, hairdryer etc. Perfect. I arrived with nothing organised and Eva was super helpful at booking tours and making suggestions. I even did a half day tour with her brother to the DMZ and Vinh Moc tunnels- he's an excellent driver! And lovely. What a talented family! Do her cooking class. I loved my week and can't wait to come back. ( Eva has many repeat visitors- maybe book early!)

Great experience. Hotel is clean, comfortable and walking distance to everything you need. Eva goes out of her way to make sure you are supported and have what you need. Location is ideal, as it’s close to walking street and other key landmarks.

Eva is an amazing host on all levels with her help, support and making time to speak to you in general. My room was large, nice and clean. The location is close to the sights, walking streets and market. I would not hesitate recommending Eva's homestay.
