Popular Hue 4-star Hotels

Nice part of town and close walking distance to many places such as walking street, vincom, river and much more. A bit of history if you look really close and experience something unique. Breakfast was ok and rooms are a bit dated but that's the charm of the hotel. Gym could be upgraded as only one treadmill that didn't work and one bike that wasn't plugged in. Universal exercise machine must have been as old as the hotel but all in all good value for money.

Great location, modern clean rooms, amazing staff, delicious buffet breakfast. And the pool was fantastic. Did I mention the location? Right on the river and close to restaurants and shopping, easy to get a taxi or to the hop on hop off bus. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was ok. Nothing really bad, but for me, nothing great either On arrival, nobody came out to help us with our bags - we are pensioners & we had to carry our cases up 10 steps. Someone did, however, help us to leave......obviously easier to carry them down than up! The room, even though it was billed as an ”Executive Room” was quite small with a VERY small bathroom The bathroom itself was built of glass walls (opaque), which, if needing to use at night, on switching the light on, allowed the light to wake up your partner. In addition for a newish hotel, the water pressure in the shower was disappointing Even though we were on the 11th floor, noise was heard outside the window every night plus very noisy guests talking in the corridor in the early hours (which I realise is not the hotels fault) does suggest poor insulation The breakfast was fine with a good selection of local & western food. The coffee, however, was extremely strong & neither of us could drink more than 1 watered-down cup. Considering the prices in bars outside of the hotel, & compared to other 4* hotels we've stayed in on this trip, the rooftop bar was very expensive. The views, however, were excellent. As mentioned, nothing major & we didn't complain & the price we paid was good, as was the location - very close to the river & only a 10mins walk into the main area of town. Would I stay again.....probably not.

Quiet, comfortable old fashioned hotel, with carpeted corridors, large rooms, very comfortable twin beds that were more like doubles and a lovely breakfast. We had four nights here, slept well, 20 mins walk to town along a beautiful riverside walk, lovely coffee shops and local cafes in the area - yet far enough out of town to be far from the noise and late night revellers. It is possible to cycle to the Imperial City and the hotel offer free bikes upon request. Most interesting place and we would recommend as a no frills , great value , quiet hotel with a feel of a by gone era ....the pool was lovely for a dip but smaller in reality than the photos suggest! A great city break hotel overall with bathrobes, flipflops, bathroom amenities,safe and good range of TV channels, including movies provided. It had everything we needed and more!

Our family of 4 stayed at Huong Giang Hotel Resort for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were made to feel like long lost relatives the moment we stepped out of the taxi. We were greeted with incredible warmth and smiles. Mr Loi in particular was so friendly and made us feel at home immediately, especially our two sons. The buffet breakfast was amazing and catered to all our tastes and preferences. Our children were in food heaven😊! Our hot water wasn't working at some stage, and when we told reception, there was someone there to fix it within seconds, and they solved the problem immediately. Mr Loi looked after us incredibly well, and our boys loved him. He greeted them with a huge smile and a high five everytime he saw them, always taking an interest in what they were doing, asking how they were. I would not hesitate to stay at Huong Giang again, incredible value for money, warm, helpful and friendly staff, and perfect location with serene quiet Perfume River on one side, and the lively hustle and bustle on the other. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location is great. Sadly, good things ended here. Room that I’d was on the second floor. It’s quite run-down and strange design. It had a giant kind size bed with little space to walk around. Dresser had a loud squeaky sound whenever I opened it. Outside AC units were so loud that I couldn’t fall sleep. I even shut my room’s AC.! Luckily, I brought a pair of earplugs. Overall, it wasn’t a pleasant stay.

We stayed just one night in Hue. The hotel was fantastic, with a really nice swimming pool. Very clean and tidy rooms and excellent breakfast. I really recommend the hotel. Also they have nice restaurant just next to the hotel if you are looking for good Vietnamese food. Extra point: I forgot some stuff in the hotel and they managed to send it to me from Hue to Da Nang in less than 24h. This is not related to the hotel accommodations, but I really appreciate what they did.

We booked the street view room but we were given a room at the lowest floor with view of wall of other buildings. The front desk manager kept on saying the hotel is fully booked with no other rooms available. But our friends booked through hotel directly were given a room at higher floor with nice view. Very disappointed of booking through Trip.com.

Although the hotel is an old-fashioned hotel, the sanitation is very good, the service staff are also very helpful, the breakfast is very rich, and the front desk can book a bus or chartered car to Da Nang.

My family and I spent the entire Chinese New Year holiday in Hue, and Anna Mandela Beach Resort brought me a great surprise. We have stayed at 4 resorts in total (including one in Hoi An). I personally think that Anna Mandela is the most surprising of these four, and the one with the most comprehensive cost performance. From Hue Railway Station, my family and I have enjoyed the meticulous service of Anna Mandela. Although the train was more than 3 hours late, as soon as we got out of the platform, the driver gave us cold towels under the hot sun. And drinking water. An aunt from France welcomed us at the front desk. She was very kind, friendly and dedicated. Her personal behavior set a high standard for the service of the resort. She happily introduced us to everything about the resort and every detail of the room, as if she was sharing with us the treasure she is proud of; when she found that there were only two ice cream vouchers in the room, she quickly went back and gave them to my daughter Last one; she treated me and my family like friends, so that I would think that I was a guest at her house, not a hotel. Anna Mandela Beach Resort is small and exquisite. Although it is a distance from the city of Hue, this means that you can enjoy the magnificent and peaceful Shun An Beach. The sand on the beach is very thin and gentle. You can walk to Far away from the sea. The free shuttle bus provided by the resort can satisfy any exploration of Hue and it is also convenient for you to enjoy the rich nightlife of Hue. Although I booked the most basic room type, even the most common room type was very satisfying. The rooms and bathrooms were large, with simple Southeast Asian style wood decoration, warm and comfortable. There is a huge platform and a soft lounge chair in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows. It also has direct access to the garden and swimming pool, and is only a few steps away from the beach. My six-year-old daughter loves the blue swimming pool. She spends the whole day in the swimming pool. The swimming pool is very clean and few people. My daughter is also particularly obsessed with catching crabs on the beach. I would like to add some marine sports, such as kayaking, surfboards, standing rowing boats, etc. I have regretted that I only stayed two nights at Anna Mandela. If I come back next time, I hope to stay for a week, so that I have enough time to slowly taste the quiet and blue beauty here, and the food in the restaurant. .
