Today we don’t feel welcome at all at this hotel. The guy behind the desk declined our payment because he want us to pay by card but we want to pay cash. We want to pay 1400 cash but hè stand on online booking and that’s only possible with card and we reached our limit today with the card We don’t see the difference between pay by card and pay with cash and feel sad that we cannot rent something. The guy behind the desk also looks strange that we don’t got a card what we cannot use.

The hotel which is actually small apartments with a service kitchen is on the beach and within walking distance to all the action in the older section of town. So, at night it is quiet! It is clean and modern with an excellent location.

Good, fair and noisy poolside! The staff is just friendly, nothing more! A small effort ! The room is clean, the common areas too and the restaurant staff friendly.. I recommend but side side with sea view..

Fantastic location, right on the beach where the water taxi also docks for a visit to Ibiza town. Wonderful restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel employees were all extremely friendly, hospitable and service-oriented. The apartments were exceptionally well maintained on a daily basis. In short, TOP.

Beautifully situated on the sea with a boulevard in front of the door. The apartments are basic, but they have excellent beds and it is super clean. The people at the reception are extremely nice. Delicious breakfast. A top recommendation.

Wat een super hotel! Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Schone kamers, heel vriendelijk personeel! De locatie is perfect! Wij hadden een prachtig uitzicht op zee. Mijn man was de laatste nacht opgenomen in het ziekenhuis en ik wist niet goed wat ik moest doen omdat ik moest uitchecken bij hen. Ze boden mij een andere kamer aan ondanks ze vol zaten en hebben mij heel goed opgevangen! Ze waren zo aardig. Bedankt! Ik raad dit hotel aan iedereen aan!

la struttura è migliore di come viene proposta. Stanze ampie, pulite, in zona molto strategica. Molti supermercati a portata di mano. spiaggia adiacente, vicino al centro ed aeroporto Unico neo sono i parcheggi molto limitati rispetto alla quantità di auto

Dit was voor mij & mijn dochtertje van 3 de meest perfecte vakantie. Ons verblijf bij Mar y Playa speelde hierbij een belangrijke rol. De locatie kan namelijk niet beter: direct aan het strand en de gezellige boulevard. En je stapt vlak voor het hotel op de boot naar Formentera. Supermarktjes en een heleboel gezellige & betaalbare restaurantjes en terrasjes zijn letterlijk om de hoek. Ook het centrum van Ibiza is op loopafstand, als je een stukje wandelen (een kilometer geloof ik) geen probleem vindt. En anders kan je de bus nemen. De bushalte is bij de Spar, op slechts enkele minuten loopafstand van het hotel. Maar het centrum heb ik met mijn dochter maar 1x bezocht, want alles wat wij nodig hadden, zit in de directe omgeving van Mar y Playa. Het personeel van Mar y Playa is super vriendelijk & behulpzaam, vooral bij de lobby. Onze kamer was schoon (en werd gedurende ons verblijf telkens goed schoon gehouden & we kregen dagelijks schone handdoeken), de bedden sliepen prima, er stond een camping bedje klaar voor mijn dochter. Voor mij was het ook ontzettend fijn dat ze ons een kamer hadden gegeven op de begane grond, direct aan het zwembad. Dus heel weinig tot eigenlijk geen gesleep & gedoe met m’n peuter. En ik kon ‘s avonds als mijn dochtertje lag te slapen een cocktail drinken op mijn eigen terrasje (dat bij de hotelkamer hoort). Met uitzicht op het zwembad, de boulevard & de zee. Natuurlijk hoor je in de hotelkamer wel wat geluid vanuit de bar/het zwembad/de boulevard, maar voor mijn dochtertje was dit totaal niet storend (ze viel zonder problemen als een blok in slaap om 20:00). Ook ik zelf heb ‘s nachts helemaal nergens last van gehad qua geluiden. Hoe dan ook: dit is voor mij de eerste keer dat ik ergens zó ieder jaar terug zou willen komen & dan zou ik Mar y Playa steeds weer boeken. Wij vonden het fantastisch.
