A pleasant and relaxing experience, highly recommended! It is advisable to book tickets in advance, as the sessions were popular (max 25 persons at time). The tickets were 18 euros for person. The smoke sauna has a relaxed atmosphere, there is also good wooden peflettis to use (placemats). And I believe you can bring your own drinks too. 🤭 The women's changing room had only about ten lockable boxes, which no one seemed to use. There is also two showers and wc. Kiilopuro river has a comfortable sandy bottom and it was safe for first-timers like us. We will definitely come back.

It is very easy to get to. From the airport, as soon as you leave, there is a bus that takes you there for 19 euros. You pay with a card on the bus. If you are lucky or if you ask beforehand, several rooms face the side where you can see the auroras and you see them from the window. If you get the other side, you will have to go out into the snow. What I didn't like is that I arrived at 9 am and had to wait until 4 pm doing nothing at the reception to be able to enter the room. But be careful, because I noticed that others were given the keys earlier, so it is important if you arrive early to ask several times because they will NOT let you know if the room is available or not. The food is very affordable in terms of prices. There were ready-made sandwiches for 5 euros, but menus or the buffet option. There are hostels, common rooms or cabins that have a kitchenette. They have a small market to buy food and drinks as well. What is not available is a pharmacy, so it is important to bring everything you think you might need. Of the 4 nights, we saw the auroras 3 times. Check-out is at 10am. Ideal and affordable place to see the auroras without having to book a tour. They have activities and a sauna.

A magnificent site but in the main buildings there are old-fashioned rooms, narrow single beds and mattresses that are too soft. But it’s nothing compared to the food, unworthy of an international restaurant. Meatballs, potatoes, meats in sauces, not very tasty and tasteless except when it's too salty. Even in the worst canteen they haven't served this for a long time. Beer or mini bottle of wine for €8 to make the party complete. Avoid if you are at all attached to the quality of life.

The bungalows are beautiful and very complete with a well-functioning air conditioning (in Finland it was 30 degrees when we were there). Only the wifi is missing. But without wifi is also nice sometimes. The food in the restaurant (both dinner and breakfast) was mediocre. The breakfast was particularly disappointing. The dining facility is more of a canteen than a restaurant.

Far from everything and that's what we wanted. Very nice log cottage with private sauna. Nice meal even if the decor is a bit canteen. The dishes are typical which is a nice change of scenery. Only 45 from Ivalo airport with a bus that drops you off at the reception

Wat een geweldige accommodatie. Wij verbleven begin januari 2025 een week in een log-cabin waarin het aan niets ontbreekt. Wij dachten dat er een probleem was met de sauna en meldde dit bij de receptie per email. Nog dezelfde zondagavond volgde er een toelichting en handleiding. Wat een service...!!! En ook verder niets aan te merken. Je maakt de mooiste wandelingen vanuit je accommodatie al dan niet met sneeuwschoenen of met langlaufen. En voor geboekte safaris wordt je net buiten de receptie opgehaald. Het buffetrestaurant mist misschien wat sfeer maar biedt een prima ontbijtbuffet. Restaurant Kammi biedt een kleine maar gevarieerde kaart en heeft zeker wel een romantische ambiance. De skibus brengt je in de ochtend desgewenst naar Saariselka. In de late namiddag kun je er weer mee terug naar Kiiloopa en dat allemaal voor 6,00 euro (dagticket). Voor doe prijs kun je je ieder halfuur verplaatsen binnen Saariselka, naar bijvoorbeeld het Ski centrum, waar je ook van de berg kunt sleeën en het shopping centrum met zijn grote K-Market. Daar is alles te koop wat het kleine winkeltje op het Fell Centrum niet kan bieden. Maar voor wat kleine dagelijkse zaken is het niettemin handig. Nog meer positieve aspecten van het Fell Centre Kiiloopa....? De rust, die heerlijke relaxte omgeving die je in het dagelijkse leven in eigen omgeving nauwelijks nog kunt vinden. Wat een fantastische verademing. Dank Fell Centre. Dank vriendelijke mevrouw van de receptie. Dank je wel Lapland...

La struttura si trova proprio alle porte del Parco Nazionale Urho Kekkonen e offre vari tipi di sistemazioni: Chalet in legno, camera di hotel, ostello, caravan park e tende. Noi abbiamo alloggiato nella log cabin e il nostro chalet era spazioso, funzionale dotato di stufa a legna, cucina e l’immancabile sauna. Per chi vuole c’è anche il ristorante a buffet operativo a colazione, pranzo e cena (con una buonissima qualità). Tante le attività che si possono fare a seconda delle stagioni: in loco è presente un centro noleggio attrezzature che sa darvi tutte le info del caso (noi abbiamo fatto l’esperienza con la fat bike ed è stato molto divertente). Tanti i sentieri da percorrere. A Novembre abbiamo anche ammirato delle meravigliose aurore dalla cima del monte Kiilopa. Non perdetevi l’esperienza della smoked sauna

De mensen zijn er vriendelijk en behulpzaam, met Engels kun je je prima redden bovendien. De receptionistes dachten mee waar nodig mbt openbaar vervoer terug naar Ivalo Airport (gelukkig maar, want ik had anders nog een behoorlijke uitdaging gehad, omdat ik een timetable vd busdienst verkeerd had gelezen). 1 nacht in hostel Ahopaa geslapen. Prima bed, schone kamer, rust, openbare douchegelegenheid schoon en verzorgd. Daarna 2 nachten hotelkamer. Niets overdadigs, maar alles is er, schoon en wel. Prima bed, heerlijke douche, en prachtig uitzicht! Ik heb alleen gebruik gemaakt van ontbijtbuffet en dinerbuffet, en daar viel wat mij betreft niets op aan te merken. Ruime keuze, afwisseling, en lekker bovendien. Concluderend vind ik de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding echt heel erg goed. Wat mij betreft is dit dus een heel fijne en praktische plek om je arctische avonturen te beginnen en/of af te sluiten.
