Love this quaint little ryokan at Kinosaki! The service is friendly although not much English is spoken there. Expect the staff to introduce you the amenities of the ryokan such as the free first-come -first-serve private onsen (there are a total of 4, but recommend the one named Hana because it's the newest and the nicest). The room itself is tiny but comfortable. There is no shower in the room, so would have to take the shower at the onsen or at the ryokan's own onsen. The room package came with kaiseki (we had the snow crab one) and it was delicious with pretty looking food. The blanket was thick and comfortable, perfect for the cold weather. There was not much view from our room.

It's an old-fashioned business hotel. The service is also old-fashioned. So it's very good value for money. Anyway, I think it's good enough for people who want to stay cheaply without meals.

Pleasant stay with my husband, mum and auntie. It is a short walk to the main street and it gets pretty dark at night. Alternatively, just take the shuttle bus which departs every 30min in the evening, last bus out is 930pm.
The hotel provides free onsen pass to the outside onsens. But u could also enjoy the onsen within the hotel, it's already really pretty.
Breakfast spread is amazing I was so overwhelmed by by choices

One of the most luxurious hotels in the Kinosaki Onsen area, there is a shuttle bus to and from the station, seven hot springs, hot spring temples, etc. You can choose bathrobes and accessories, the room is very large, one bed, two meals, dinner and breakfast are high-end and sumptuous. The price is not cheap, but the service is first-rate and it is worth a try. Accommodation in the hotel includes coupons for seven outdoor hot springs. The natural hot spring facilities are also very good. There are not many people and it is very comfortable.
An inn in a good location where you can have a go at making pottery, featuring plans such as "free private baths" and "weekday rates on a Saturday"

Very good Japanese-style hotel, newly renovated, the room bath is very new, the bed is very comfortable. Booked a one-night stay with two meals, dining in a separate small private room on the 1st floor, the room number is the same as the room number. When the JR station was approaching departure time, I found that I forgot to bring my backpack. After calling the hotel, the hotel immediately sent a car to deliver it, and we returned to Osaka on time. Special thanks~

Only half hour to Kinosaki Onsen...we plan to go to Kinosaki Onsen but we can't afford the price of the hotel there......toyooka sky hotel is the best choice....the price is resonable, breakfast is delicious and it's only 700 JPY/person and there has free parking 😁😁😁

The ryokan style rooms were a lovely touch. The inclusive dinner came with so many courses that we were absolutely stuffed every single night and the fact that a member of staff helps explain all the dishes and prepares them in front of us felt like a real lovely touch of authenticity and luxury. There are no individual bathrooms in the rooms aside from a sink and toilet but the hotel Onsen is easy to access and comfortable to use. The staff also make the bed after dinner every night and anytime we had questions for reception, they were always happy to help, especially with train station transfer and recommendations and vouchers for different restaurants in town. The hotel rooms have a great view of the mountains as it is slightly off the main road. I would definitely recommend this for couples traveling.

Although Yinhua Hotel is located far away, the environment is very quiet because of this. The hotel rooms and baths face the river, which makes people feel refreshed. The staff are all super friendly and kind, and guests will feel at home right from the start of the hotel. We stayed for three days and two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself also takes good care of its guests. Even on the day of check-out, they will still take the trouble to tidy up the room so that guests can still have a comfortable place to rest before leaving. If I come to Kinosaki again, I will probably stay at this hotel again. Recommended !

It's a bit of a walk from the station, but the hot spring is right next door so I had no complaints about the location. I also liked that they offered a free drink.

It was a great experience. The boss was very enthusiastic and helped us take photos. There was also an old lady who helped us put on yukata. There are two hot springs in the store, one of which is open-air and very private. You can lock the door after entering so that no strangers will come in and take a bath. We chose the in-store breakfast, which included porridge, rice and side dishes, which was very light and delicious.

SSvetlanaI really enjoyed staying at this ryokan! Great location, high level of service, delicious dinner and breakfast. We were delighted with the public onsen, we also really liked the onsen inside the ryokan - it's great that you can go in in the morning and warm up before leaving.
A special plus for us was that the ryokan allows guests with tattoos to stay.
Thank you so much for your hospitality! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip 🤗
GGuest UserNice, modern and new hotel in Kinosaki onsen with great hospitality from the hotel owner and his staff. I was welcomed by the owner at the door when I arrived, and they even prepared a beautiful greeting card on my arrival. Welcome drink was provided and the owner recommended good restaurants and provided the USP of each onsen in Kinosaki. The room is spacious, clean and new! I especially like the Japanese style of the hotel. Yutaka and 1-day onsen pass were provided for my stay. As the next day I had to move to another hotel, the owner very kindly helped me to transport my luggage to another hotel near the JR station.
Overall, excellent stay, excellent people and excellent breakfast! :)
Would love to visit Kinosaki onsen again and stay with Utsuroi Tsuchiya.
GGuest UserThe service is super good, the Japanese-style room children especially like it, the tatami is very comfortable to sleep! It is the breakfast meal that is not used to eating.
VViviSit's quite far from all the restaurants and all the onsen but they got facilities to send you guys to visit all places around kinosaki. this shuttle car service start at 4pm. They provide the yukata as well with the traditional japanese sandal (getta) to wear to walk around to the city.
quite far from the train station but luckily the tourist information service there provides free shuttle bus to this place.
Even quite far from other places, but we love to stay here. If you guys like walking like us, you guys will pass by the tunnel as shortcut from the hotel to city. the breakfast experience is so cool for the food and setting. they provides us private room to enjoy the breakfast.
GGuest UserThe river is located and walks from the station, you can reach in ten minutes. It is convenient to pass seven onsens, one of them very close. There are two private and two public baths in the hotel itself, the one with bubbles, interesting. They feed delicious, both at dinner and at breakfast.
It is important that there are English-speaking staff, it is much easier to learn if not to know Japanese. Everyone was polite.
GGuest UserThe hotel is about 400 meters walk from JR City saki Hot Spring Station. It is in the center of City saki. It is convenient to go to the major Outer Soup Hot Springs Tour and the City saki Hot Spring Cable Car. The hotel lobby has to change shoes and wear slippers, and you can also wear wooden rafts when you leave the hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 11:30 that day, although the check-in time was not yet arrived, but the staff had arranged the room for all the guests of the day and moved my suitcase to the room first. When I checked in later, an elderly lady and I carefully introduced the use of tatami rooms, the way to wear bathrobes, and the precautions when taking a bath in the outside soup. The hotel itself also has a place to soak in soup. Overall, it is still very good to experience the traditional Japanese hot spring culture.
GGuest UserVery nice Japanese hotel with good service and facilities (public hot spring bath where women and men are separate and several private hot spring baths that I recommend to book in advance). We also had an amazing massage in the hotel spa. The down side would be that the hotel doesn't offer western beds (only Japansese futons) and that the personnel doesn't speak very good English (but are very nice and are trying their best to help)
TTerTer ManA very beautiful hot spring hotel. The place is clean and hygienic. The location is also quite good. The place is also very spacious. It is worth recommending. It will be a first choice next time you travel.
PPiwatUpon arrival, the hotel gave us 2 free tickets for aquarium next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful with parking valet and our luggage. The room we were in had an amazing view and it is spacious. It’s a Japanese style room and the staff had to come to put out futon for us around dinner time. Communal bath is big with an outdoor onsen. We noticed that they use salt water in the bath and onsen instead of chlorinated water like many other onsen hotel we have stayed in the past. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel but they open rather late at 7 and 8 pm so we didn’t get to try them. Breakfast were the same the whole we stay but they are pretty decent so there is no complaints. I would consider this to be one of the best hotel we have stayed during our trip there.
KK LouThere is no breakfast nor dinner provided by this onsen hotel, and restaurants close a bit early. If you’re looking for an onsen meal, you maybe disappointed if you staying here. Beware if you’re a foodie.
The sound insulation is poor, please keep your voice down. Since the first night I arrived was windy and rainy, and the curtain for blocking the sun is made of bamboo, it kept hitting on the window all night long.
There is no elevators and the stairs is very steep, be careful if you bringing many luggages.
Although the servers do not understand English, they are very friendly and willing to help! Overall, I enjoyed a lot while the staying. Thank you!
