"First, the good points: The room facilities were nice, and the overall environment was decent. It was also quiet at night, no noise at all. They even provided complimentary fruit upon check-in. Now, the downsides: It was way too hot. Even with the air conditioning off, it was still sweltering, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. My husband even got up in the middle of the night to open the door for some air. I didn't get good rest and had to go to my exam the next day with huge dark circles under my eyes. The reason I chose this hotel was for an exam, and all hotels were ridiculously overpriced. The price didn't match the facilities, so I figured since I was spending the money, I might as well choose a better one, but I still didn't get good rest. When we first entered the room, there was a strange smell. Housekeeping even came to open the windows and spray air freshener, but it didn't help much. There was hair in the amenity kit, and small trash left by the previous guest on the shower caddy. Overall, my experience was just average."

"On April 4, 2024, I had the honor of staying at the Vienna Hotel in Shangluo. It was an unforgettable and wonderful experience.
As soon as I stepped into the hotel, I could feel its elegance and warmth. The lobby is spacious and bright, beautifully decorated, and the staff is warm and friendly, making people feel at home.
Entering the room is even more surprising. The room is spacious and tidy, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, making people feel like they are in the clouds. The facilities in the room are complete, of high quality, and very convenient to use.

"The room was a normal size, a light luxury option at 30+ square meters, but it didn't feel spacious. It had a smart toilet. The front desk offered a free upgrade, but the fourth floor was fully booked. Overall, the stay was not a good experience.
The pool had children's swimming lessons on weekends, so it was crowded in the afternoon. There were no lockers, towels, or toiletries. Considering it was a vacation, it was fine; it wasn't exactly a resort hotel.
The most unbearable thing was the lack of hot water for showering in the evening. While the tub was running hot, the showerhead wasn't. Once the tub was half full, the showerhead ran out of hot water. Fortunately, I didn't apply shampoo to my hair.
The next morning, I asked the front desk to change the towels. Normally, both the bath towels and the bath towels would be changed. Upon returning to the room, they only changed the bath towels. The other damp bath towels were left untouched.
The breakfast at a four-star hotel was inferior to that of a similarly priced budget chain hotel. For a 400 yuan per night hotel in Shangluo, there were no snacks, only a small amount of fruit, and no milk or bread. I was satisfied with the fried rice. There was a special hot and sour noodle dish, but it was average."

The guest rooms are spacious and equipped with independent balconies. Some room types offer quiet garden or mountain views. When checking in, you can also walk through the corridor to experience the courtyard landscape. The overall atmosphere is elegant and comfortable. In addition, the hotel has complete facilities, including a spa, gym, tennis courts, etc. Free parking and Wi-Fi are also provided in public areas, which is suitable for self-driving tourists or business people to relax.
However, the breakfast experience has been repeatedly criticized. Although the hotel advertises that it has a rich breakfast variety, actual guests reported that the dishes were monotonous and in short supply, especially during peak hours (such as after 8 o'clock) where there might be ”leftovers”. One guest even mentioned that ”there was not much left when we arrived at 8:40”. The breakfast content was evaluated as ”not refined enough”, which was inconsistent with the hotel's four-star positioning, and the buffet at 30 yuan per person was not cost-effective. The rooms are very clean, all things are working well. hot shower, very very cosy and clean beds.
