"As always I'll rate the hotel I stayed at relative to the cost incurred. So is it value for money? Location : The location could not be bettered. It is the closest hotel to the Mati Grottoes. Maybe a 500m walk away. Service : Very good, very friendly ! Welcoming and efficient on arrival. Took food orders for delivery at lunch and dinner (which helped a lot as in Winter all the restaurants in the village were closed)! And also helped me buy snacks in the afternoon (as the usual stores in the village were closed during Winter). Bedroom : Basic however with 2 beds (comfortable and clean) and a I really liked the sunny alcove with two seats and a table, to sit and drink tea/coffee (bring your own!). Bathroom : small but most importantly hot water and plenty of it ! The toilet is Western style not a squat (phew - good for my old knees!) Breakfast : was provided but as I don't often eat breakfast I can't comment further. You shouldn't expect a 5 star hotel, it's a basic Chinese hotel so don't get expectations up, however it is great value for money, clean and has everything you'd need for a short stay. I would definitely stay here again !"

"淡季來巴爾斯聖山玩的，整個民宿衹有我們一批客人。老闆娘特別熱情，淡季就她一個人接待，因為要求能看到雪山的房間，所以訂的雙床房，老闆娘説大床房的角度會沒有雙床的好。 晚上在房間陽台成功拍到了星空。房間地暖效果不是特別熱，但整體那一晚睡得倒是挺好。 第二天去了巴爾斯，臨走給開了個證明，去遊客中心買票能便宜大概60塊錢，步行到遊客中心衹要200米不到。另外民宿樓下還養了個小牛犢子，很粘人，第一天入住以後還和牛牛玩了半天。"

The bathing area is designed to be separated into dry and wet areas. The toiletries are also of good quality. I like the light fragrance. The location is excellent. You can see the prayer flags fluttering on the green hillside from the room. I highly recommend staying here when you come to Ma Ti Si. After a leisurely breakfast the next day, you can be the first to climb the Thirty-three Days Grottoes, which will save you a lot of time queuing."

"房間性價比很高，硬件設施有點一般。酒店在山坡上，下坡就到縣裡挺方便，可惜沒有早飯可選，第一次知道這邊的酒店沒有空調，正好降温還沒供暖晚上比較涼。五樓水壓偏低，花灑除了出水孔不出水其他地方都在出水，早上起來風景很不錯。總體不錯！"

The homestay is a few hundred meters away from the Bales Snow Mountain Visitor Center. The boss helped to say hello and bought discount tickets. "房間很大，但味道很難聞，樓下的酒店酒味沖鼻，菜味都鑽進房間，聯繫電話很長時間沒人接，前台也找不到人，插充電器時直接爆掉，找人來時才告知這幾個插座不能用"

"提前一天住到距離景區遊客中心附近的民宿，第二天很輕鬆不用排隊，老闆娘很熱情，幫忙提供了輕鬆到核心景區的資訊，民宿提供的洗漱用品竟然包含了一次性毛巾和浴巾，非常好，也有wifi可以用，晚上在民宿和孩子們一起看了北斗七星，很開心的馬蹄寺之旅。"

The bathroom facilities are also very good, it is a complete bathroom, the hot water is an instant water heater, and the toilet is a smart toilet. Although it is expensive, it is worth the view and facilities. I turned on the air conditioner to sleep at night, which was very quiet. When I woke up in the morning, the scenery was very beautiful. The terrace was not exposed to the sun, and it was very pleasant to drink tea. The hotel does not have breakfast, you can bring your own breakfast or go to the county town to eat."
