Within walking distance is the The Railway Inn which serves excellent food plus a local farm shop with locally sourced supplies , cafe and play area, and a particularly good butchers. Agatha Christie's Greenway house is easily accessible via the steam railway, or for those that enjoy walking, there is the scenic route on foot. An easy ramble down quiet lanes and you will find the ancient woodland and an area of outstanding natural beauty . There is a regular bus service to Brixham, Paignton and Torquay which is a five minute walk. Dartmouth can be reached by bus or steam train - services run from February half term to the end of December. Listen out for the train whistle which can often be heard from the cottage !
