"will definitely recommend this hotel to those couples who are just visiting for leisure and not for business. Ours was for business, so it was quite difficult to manage our stocks as they never allowed us to bring them to our room. We had to pack our stocks at the hotel lobby which was very inconvenient for us. Nonetheless, cleanliness and promptness of the hotel service was satisfactory. We enjoyed the food served every breakfast, the hot shower is working efficiently, the staff are all friendly and approachable. Overall, our experience was good."

"When you enter the lobby, it’s quite spacious and crowded. The staf service is excellent. The carpet in the hallway to our room have unplesant smell mau be because old or humid. The room is clean, the wallpaper look old, the room has large space and comfortable. A thing that not comfortable is the room is not sound proof and the bathroom shower is leaked is you turn higher and the water can flooding whole bathroom floor and will feel dirty and wet. The bathtub look old and kind of dirty. The location is very strategy for our meeting, we just need to walk and really save our time in traffic."

"In my opinion, if the hotel truly wants to claim to be kid-friendly, even the cheapest rooms should provide a step stool, in addition to the desk chair already in the room, to make it easier for kids to wash their hands and brush their teeth. They shouldn't just boast about air quality; it's natural that a hotel with few windows needs air purifiers for safe breathing. It's not really suitable for toddlers unless you book a family room. The available playground wasn't very engaging for my 2-year-old; it's more suited for older children. Otherwise, everything else was fine for leisure, with its strong vintage concept."

"The place is comfortable, and the breakfast was also delicious. I'd say this is a very affordable hotel, especially considering its Jakarta location, I got it at what I felt was an incredibly cheap price. My only minor complaint is that shampoo and pajamas weren't provided in the bathroom."

"Good location but to improve on the toilet and shower condition. We were staying at 2 rooms at the building next to it, level 3. The corner room and room beside. Everything is ok except for the toilet. The Management should build the drain beside the toilet so of there is a water on the floor it should flows to the drain accordingly. We were so stressed when using the sink and toilet, water on the floor and it sinks because no drain. Apart from that is the shower. It only has shower without the handler and only half doors to seperate it from the toilet. When took a shower, the water goes at the toilet floor, adding the water on the floor. It’s hard to dry it because no drain. Hopefully the management can come up with the drain system at the toilet. I am sure i am not the one customers having this issues. Tq"

"The location is quite good, right in the city center, making it convenient to take a taxi to various places. There are also many hotels and restaurants nearby, which is quite convenient for business travel. I particularly liked two things: 1. The high floor offers great views, and the night view is stunning. 2. The hotel is very clean and tidy, and there's a desk available for working."

"I booked room with CITY VIEW, but they gave me room without ANY windows. Thank god the next receptionist could change my room to another room with window/city view. But still, it wasted my time to move my stuff from one room to another."

"The room was super, our boys had best day of their lives. Even with the cute onesies provided, they love it. Service from front desk, to bell boy, to even one thats waiting outside of the hotel was superb and helpful too. Downside is breakfast spread was not variety, very limited. No egg station too (but u can request any egg menu if u want). And the road is a bit quiet. No indomaret nearbyyyy 🥲 we need our night walk to indomaret whenever we visit the country. So its a bit sad here. But otherwise, Overall all is good"

__WeChat41463****What I appreciated most about this hotel is that being on the 80th-plus floor, you're essentially above Jakarta's hustle and bustle. There's absolutely no traffic or religious prayer noise, making for an excellent sleep experience. The room facilities are simple but very new, modern, and bright, completely avoiding the classic yet stale and slightly oppressive atmosphere found in many older five-star hotels in Jakarta. The TV and sound system have stereo, and the bathtub provides instant hot water. For these reasons alone, I highly recommend it for a weekend staycation or a short business trip. The hotel only has one restaurant and one high-altitude bar, both sharing a high-rise terrace. The lobby is also quite small and lacks a lobby bar. The pool and gym are on the smaller side. While the dining and entertainment options might be a bit limited, overall it's extremely comfortable and the minor drawbacks don't detract from its overall appeal. Highly recommended.

Set right in the heart of the city, next to Grand Indonesia and Thamrin City Mall, it’s extremely convenient, especially for anyone who enjoys shopping or wants everything within walking distance. Arrival was pleasant, with a warm welcome from the staff. They were very helpful and consistently courteous, with special attention shown to senior citizens, which was appreciated. We booked a two bedroom apartment, which was very spacious and practical. The unit is well equipped for longer stays, with a washing machine, water dispenser, microwave, and a full set of kitchen utensils, making it easy to manage daily routines. The decor, however, feels a bit dated, and I did notice a slight odour, likely from furniture that could use a deeper clean. The bedding was acceptable. The mattress was comfortable enough, but the pillows were too soft for my liking and didn’t provide much support. The bathroom experience was much better. The shower was excellent with good water pressure and reliable hot water. Toiletries were complete and pleasantly scented, with a spa like aromatherapy feel. One downside was the bath towel, which felt worn out and unusually small, closer to the size of a bath mat than a proper towel. Breakfast was decent but not extensive. It covered the basics and was sufficient, though nothing particularly memorable. Overall, Ascott Jakarta works well for longer stays with family, mainly due to its spacious apartments and unbeatable central location. With some updates to furnishings and linens, the stay could be significantly improved.

MMark AuThe hotel isn't too far from the airport, but Indonesian traffic is notoriously bad, so it took an hour and a half to get there. The hotel is also right next to the train tracks, and trains pass by quite often, which really tests your sleep quality.

I was there to run an event, agreed to check the event room at 9pm but nothing was prepared. Next day morning it is prepared but the coffee tea and the food spread was so limited, its not even 5 star standard. I will never go back there for events

JJettLamstayed at Yuan Garden Pasar Baru Hotel during my trip to Jakarta and it turned out to be a really pleasant experience. The location is excellent—it’s right in Central Jakarta, so I could easily walk to Pasar Baru for some shopping and local food, and big landmarks like Istiqlal Mosque and the Cathedral were just a short ride away. Having the train station nearby was also convenient for exploring other parts of the city. The hotel itself feels modern and welcoming. My room was spacious, clean, and had all the basics I needed—comfortable bed, good air-conditioning, and a nice view of the city.

FFancyTravelDespite its cleanliness, location and amenities, this hotel is well located in central Jakarta opposite Thamrin bus station but not near metro station. As it’s situated by the main road, the traffic noises are very loud throughout the day and night. Apparently the sound proofing of the hotel is inefficient and the walls are thin as well so can hear neighbouring rooms guests noises especially banging doors when going in and out ! Worst WiFi connection for hotel of this grade, it’s extremely unstable! Also the lighting in the bathroom is poor for women doing make up but its shower is very strong, hot and powerful. My friend tried its in-house massage and was totally disappointed since the massage therapist is unprofessional and knows nothing about massage! The only positive thing is that all their staff are very friendly, warm and helpful and they will try to help as much as possible.
