"The Guesthouse is strategically ideally located: In a few minutes you will be on the Vök bath with the car, where we were wonderfully relaxed in the evening.
The rooms are relatively large, very clean and the bed including kitchen and ceiling was very comfortable – you really sleep well.
I would like to emphasise the great common kitchen. It is modernly equipped and offers several cooking fields so that all guests can cook without problems at the same time without coming in the cross.
All you need is found in the surrounding area: a large supermarket and a tanker are only about 700 metres away.
Overall a very pleasant accommodation with practical location and good equipment."

"Centrally located close to domestic airport, gas station and supermarket. Hotel appears to be converted from an old building but is nicely maintained with a charming lobby. Room size is bigger than other Iceland hotels. Shower is only separated from toilet by a shower curtain, so bathroom would get a bit wet but not a big issue. Both dinner and breakfast are good. Better reserve for dinner as it gets busy. O sure washing machine is handy, although may need to wait a bit as there is only one machine. Staff are generally helpful. Overall a pleasant stay."

"We stayed in Room 112 - a beautifully furnished apartment with ocean views and comfy beds. The apartment was very spacious and clean. There was a washer, but no dryer. 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel was provided. Shower screen was too small so a floor squeegee was provided to swipe water back into the bath area after shower. Breakfast spread and quality was excellent including some homemade cakes, breads and cookies. Location was just a 10min drive from the puffins. Our best stay in Iceland and highly recommended"

"It belongs to a family hotel. When it arrives, the boss puts the key at the door and takes it by name. The door is the famous Rainbow Road, and there is a restaurant next to it, which is very convenient. We chased the aurora here. The staff at the restaurant next to us suggested that we drive out a little bit, and it is easy to see without lights. We drove out for five minutes and stopped on the side of the road. We took a picture in a while. It was not a busy trip."

GGuest UserThe house is great, it’s great to forget to take more photos, the location is good, it’s not far from the town, there is a spacious parking lot behind the house, and it’s easier to move luggage from the parking space to the room (this is very important for European travel) The room kitchen laundry room bathroom living room is on the first floor. No need to go up and down the stairs to carry luggage, the living room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room are very large, the cabinet is very large (the hangers are complete, many times many houses have one or two hangers are very inconvenient) The hot water is good, the heating is sufficient ( each room can be adjusted by itself) The room is very clean and the items are rich in configuration. The kitchen facilities are too complete, we made a good dinner, the window is facing the port cruise ship, meeting all the hopes of the hotel. Come to this town highly recommended choice

The room space is OK, there is no wardrobe for hanging clothes, only a few hangers, and the mirror in the toilet is not very friendly to the short Asians (like me)
Because it is off-season, the whole town is super quiet and there are not many choices for eating. In addition, the owner of this hotel has several buildings in this town, don't go wrong

GGuest UserAccommodation is situated in a remote area, where the actual lodging is a short drive in from the main reception area. Very basic accommodation, where even the hot water is limited! But given that it is family-run, the customer service was wonderful. I was freezing under my comforter and the staff brought a portable heater to our room.

The front desk staff is helpful and in addition to helping the elderly to pick up their luggage, they are also enthusiastic about the appearance of the aurora at night. LLeah ChiuWasn't expecting much but ended up so pleasantly surprised! My elderly parents and I absolutely loved our stay here! One of the best places we stayed in Iceland this trip. The Guesthouse manager (matnus? Sorry I'm not sure how his name is spelt!) was kind enough to help us arrange a last minute change of room as we changed our minds and wanted to upgrade to a bigger room. We stayed at the one bedroom apartment and everything was lovely. Squeaky clean, even for a clean freak like me. The place was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. I noticed there is a thick layer of cushion over the sofa bed so this was the most comfortable sofa bed I've ever slept on. My parents also said the double bed was very very comfortable. Highly highly recommend this Guesthouse!

Facilities: We stayed in a two-person room on the third floor. The room was a bit small, and a suitcase larger than a boarding suitcase might get stuck; the extension cord had poor contact, the hot water pressure was sufficient, and it came with a hair dryer, soap, shampoo and Conditioner; there is chess to play in the public area.
But why does the 4-person room on the first floor have a hot water kettle (as seen through the window when walking by the lake), but not upstairs? !
Service: The first floor is under renovation, self-service is provided, keys are provided in envelopes for self-pickup, no breakfast is provided, only paper is enclosed in the envelope. Recommended restaurants
