Kurashiki Hotels with Wi-Fi

"A typical Dormy Inn with good spa, evening noodle ice cream and in particular good service. When I checked out, the front desk staff went to outside of the hotel to try to get me a taxi. Is right at the tourist spot but not within walking distance to the station ( less than ¥500 by taxi ). If you like Dormy Inn, this one would not disappoint you. Also the spa clam to be able to heal a lot of diseases. Hope is right. "

"While it's a bit of a walk from the station, having so many shops nearby was a big plus. The room was clean and I was happy with it, but the breakfast, unfortunately, was quite disappointing 😢. In the small breakfast area, a staff member was constantly standing there, observing everyone. It felt like we were being watched the whole time, which made it uncomfortable and awkward to get food and eat. Despite their constant presence, no greetings or guidance were offered to guests entering the breakfast area. Given the reasonable price, I suppose I can't complain too much, but as a huge fan of breakfast buffets, I opted to eat elsewhere the following day. This breakfast venue also serves as the welcome drink area during check-in, and I was disappointed to find the floor sticky when I received my drink there."

"Right near the historic canal area with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around, this hotel has a great location. The room was very clean and WiFi worked great. The only weird thing to me was breakfast, which were pre-packaged sandwiches (tasted great by the way!). Outside of breakfast hours you weren't allowed to get coffee from the machine, you had to use boiled water and instant coffee instead in your room, a missed chance for something so benign."

"I made a last-minute reservation. I thought it would be difficult to communicate because I am Korean, but it was good. Dinner and breakfast were provided. It was very delicious. The facilities were good and it was a comfortable hotel. The downside was that the convenience store was far away and there were many strange bars around."

"This was my first stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located near the station and an outlet mall, about a 5-10 minute walk away, mostly on flat ground. However, there aren't many convenience stores nearby; the closest option is a supermarket that's open until 11 PM, which is quite handy. Upon check-in, the front desk informed us that check-in was between 11 AM and 3 PM, but we could already hear vacuuming noises as early as 9:30 AM. **Room:** The room was quite cramped, barely allowing enough space to open two 28-inch suitcases. The bathroom had good ventilation and was very clean. The soundproofing, however, could be improved. We could clearly hear people walking or talking in the corridor, and even the cleaning staff when they were on the same floor. The TV remote control was quite dusty, and the reception between the remote and the TV was poor. The air conditioning unit was located above the bed and was reasonably quiet. The hallways had low ceilings and were quite dim. **Local Area/Activities:** There are numerous restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter is also accessible with about a 20-minute walk. **Safety:** I had some concerns regarding safety. The public bath could be accessed without a card, and the doors to both the men's and women's baths were frequently left open. **Walkability:** A supermarket is conveniently located about 5 minutes away on foot. Kurashiki Station is a 5-8 minute walk, and it's easily accessible not only by road but also via a connecting pedestrian bridge, which is very convenient. Ario Kurashiki and Mitsui Outlet Park Kurashiki are both within a 10-minute walk. **Dining:** There's a dining area located on the lobby floor, and breakfast can be purchased separately. Snacks and drinks are available for ¥200 each. Additionally, near the front desk, there's a self-service area offering daily essentials and green tea powder. **Important Notes:** The large public bath is not a natural hot spring (onsen). The changing room is quite small, with only about 10-12 lockers, 3 vanity stations, and 4 shower stalls. The shower water pressure was a bit low, and the water temperature was inconsistent. The bath itself was also quite shallow. It is open 24 hours. There is one massage chair available for guest use. There's only one elevator, which is not very spacious, leading to longer waiting times. Rooms only have two door hanger options: 'refill towel' or 'please clean,' which must be placed outside the door before 11 AM for service. Self-service laundry and drying facilities are available."

"飯店離車站距離稍遠一點，但離美觀地區很近，走幾個路口就可扺達；浴室是乾溼分離，這點很棒，若不想去大浴場人擠人，可以考慮在自己房間內泡澡； 製冰機和自動販賣機都在1樓，而不是在2樓櫃枱和大浴場的同層樓，不是很方便，又因為1樓是內外開放空間，也有安全疑慮； 服務方面，飯店櫃檯較不貼心，雖然我們提早在check in時間到達及寄放行李，但櫃枱不會幫客人在check in時間開始後先將行李放置房間，相較其他米子及出雲連鎖飯店，少了此服務；另外，飯店人員似乎沒有注意到他事先沒有給顧客行李寄存收據，還好他後來有發現，否則可能要處理很久"

"Very good hotel with good location Definitely best choice if u choose to stay at Kurashiki Walking distance to bukkake udon, bikin and close to train where u can half day trip to Okayama I will prefer to stay at Kurashiki Station compare to Okayama station The Wagyu restaurant just located opposite of the hotel with very very much affordable price than Tokyo"

"The location of the hotel is very convenient, with two convenience stores opposite. The only drawback is that there is no parking lot, but there are several parking lots next to the hotel for parking. The hotel is clean and tidy, but the public bath is small and awkward when there are many people."
