"It was my first trip to Yakushima and the hotel staff were very kind!
When my child caught a fever on the way there and was feeling exhausted, they recommended ice packs and takeout from a nearby shop.
Even after he recovered, they asked if I was OK, which I was very grateful for.

"We absolutely loved this stay and would recommend it to all travellers!
We booked the corner room. The room was well illuminated by natural light during the day and we could see the river from our room. At night we could even hear the water flowing. There were two western single beds but we asked for futons for the full Japanese experience and loved it! The room was spacious and clean. There was a bathtub in the bathroom but we used the public bath (male and female separated) which was amazing. The public bath was quiet and spacious and there was a sauna room. Breakfast was served during 7am -830am with a well set table as shown in the picture. The staff was super kind. Just note that the walls were thin and you should expect some noise but people here are generally used to keeping their voice down.
Another highlight is that you can take the bus of both the red and blue lines at the bus stop right in front of the hotel. (The blue line is for Shiratani Unsuikyo.). It is very convenient if you are not driving. The hotel is around 25 mins away from the ferry port and the walk there was pleasant and not difficult to find.
Yet another great thing about this place is that you can rent mountaineering gear here at a cheap price, including shoes and rain protection. We rented the shoes here at 1,xxx yen per person (forgot the exact price) and they were very useful. It was raining for almost the whole 5h hike for us and the shoes offered a good grip and were sufficiently waterproof. You can also find little souvenirs at their shop. Honestly, it's impeccable!"

"This Minshuku is well located on the main road between airport and Miyanoura. If you don’t plan to drive, you can take the bus from the airport and will arrive in about 15 min at the Kokumae bus stop ( bus stop in front of the high school) . The bus stop is just in front of the Minshuku. Bus ride costs ¥200.
The overall condition of the Minshuku is good. The double room that we had was about 100 sqft, with a wash basin inside the room which is good. The futon were comfortable and blankets were warm. Toilet and shower are shared but they were very clean.
Dining area is nice and comfortable. Dinner is excellent with local food. There is free coffee and tea in the reception.
The Minshuku offer rental for hiking shoes if you don’t have any.
Overall I would recommend this place for the great location and price."

Luana House is backed by the mountains and facing the sea, watching the mountains and the sea, watching the sunset, watching the sky full of stars, satisfying the appearance of all the houses in the dream. Beautiful boss, handsome boss, the ultimate and exquisite room and service details. What touched me was that we didn't tell the time of arrival at all. The bus was still in confusion. The boss and his wife had already raised their hands to us on the platform on the hillside. I really don't know how many times they looked around. And who would have expected that a table full of dishes that make your taste buds bloom is made by such a beautiful proprietress. The fresh fish caught from the sea every day and the fruits and vegetables from the garden make our perfect dinner. In order to plan a route for the greedy me, the two couples racked their brains and tried everything possible to satisfy my ideas, and then drove us to the hot spring every night. The hostess will wash the clothes we change every day and fold them for us. It is a super five-star hotel service! Full score of strength!

GGuest User1) Paddler services are not widely used in Japan, and I thought that there are few such wonderful paddler services. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Mr. Paddler A, who was indebted to me personally and provided a wonderful service to other customers as well.
2) Regarding meals, the comfortable food menu was sophisticated, and although it was a simple menu such as salads and hamburgers, it was made with great care and was delicious! (There are some other menus that I'm interested in, and I'm looking forward to the next time.) On the other hand, I wondered if there was another menu for creative dishes and breads. (I think there are personal tastes ...)
3) Regarding drinks, there were many local products such as original drinks, and I enjoyed it very much. On the other hand, regarding the serve of wine etc., although it is a luxury hotel restaurant and from 2000 yen / glass, there is no tasting, detailed explanation, follow-up, etc., so I was reluctant.
4) The atmosphere of the room, facilities and amenities (local brands and environmentally friendly products) are also excellent. In addition, two types of soaps were installed, and I was able to choose the scent that suits my mood. However, although the shaver is a high-class item, it is very heavy and not easy to use, so I think it would be more convenient if it was a little lighter and cheaper to use.

GGuest UserI went to Yakushima Landes in the heavy rain, so I wanted to take a bath early, so it was before check-in time before going to the nearby day trip hot spring from 15:00, but I bought sashimi and beer for dinner in advance. Pe I was very helpful because I was able to put it in the refrigerator of the nshon. Moreover, when I told the owner that I would go to the hot springs, he said, ”You can bring a bath towel and a towel in the room. If you tell him that you came from a while, you will get a discount.” I am grateful that you can take a bath at a great deal. I ate dinner while having fun talking to my wife who was in the kitchen, so I didn't miss my evening drink alone. I didn't bring my pajamas, but I was able to borrow it when I told you. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and very comfortable. I was excited to hear that it was Japanese food when I inquired in advance because I couldn't eat bread because I was allergic to wheat about breakfast. I was very satisfied with the nutritious breakfast that was very delicious and had a good protein. The coffee brewed by my husband after the meal was also very delicious. The woody building using Jisugi gave me healing to my eyes, and the air I breathed from my nose was great for retreats. Every time you see flowers decorated everywhere, you will feel calm. LLI YU ANThe first time I went abroad alone, I went to Yakushima to participate in natural experience activities and self-service travel itinerary.
This trip came to this hotel twice: the first time I booked accommodation on the platform; the second time I came here temporarily because of an emergency with another booked hostel.
For a foreign traveler who is unable to speak a language and has been abroad for the first time, I feel the kindness and kindness of the service staff here. Especially the service staff at the counter and restaurant are very patiently waiting for me to use translation software to communicate, which makes me feel a lot of warmth.
The hotel is very close to the airport and can be reached in less than 5 minutes on foot. The environment in the hall is very comfortable and well equipped. The lobby, rooms, soup pools and restaurants are very clean and tidy, and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
Meals need to be booked separately, and the appropriate box will be given according to the number of travelers. Dinner is kaiseki cuisine with 10 meals, breakfast is 6 side dishes plus buffet (I have not booked lunch so I don't know). Most of the meals were very delicious except for some of the salty ones for my taste. Especially some local ingredients and seasonings will be used, which will make people feel more connected to this place.
In terms of cost, the price is high for people who are used to living in backpackers. At the same time, after living in, I feel that the overall environment and service are very worth the price.
