Older hotel with a comfortable, clean stay. View was awesome, breakfast was good. Would recommend and would stay again. Staff was courteous and very friendly. Location was accessible to anywhere desired around Guntersville including shopping and eating.

The breakfast was lacking just basically cereal and juice, some fruit and yogurt but there is a Waffle House within walking distance if you want substance. Also a piggly wiggly if you want to grab something for your microwave. Also no iron or ironing board in the room you can request one if you need it. No little amenities store for snacks. Just a little behind the times.

We liked the room for the price. It was clean, bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and plenty of room to move around with a king size bed. Pool area was nice. McDonald’s is across the parking lot so if you don’t like the continental breakfast you can go there and eat. My only negative comment was the person at the counter was not friendly at all.

We booked a 5 day stay at this hotel. When we arrived, they were renovating so no breakfast available. Hallways crowded with trash carts and old cabinets. The room was handicapped rated but shower did not meet ADA standards. There was a bench, but no hand held nozzle and nozzle did not angle correctly for bench. The shower curtain was too short so water went out onto floor. The regular nozzle had zero water pressure!! The sink nozzle only allowed a trickle of water to come out. My husband took off aerator and tried to clean it. It made no difference. There were black ants in the room. One morning they had covered a cup I had on side table!! When we complained to front desk, they offered us a new room OR a can of bug spray!🙄. They did say they would comp us one day on the next visit. I had to ask for a desk chair because there wasnt one in the room. Everyday we had to ask for extra towels. Mostly they only put 2 in the room per day. My husband looked in the open wash room door, he said the washer was way over stuffed. The towels were barely moving. Yuck!!🤮 Lastly I will say AC worked and bed was comfortable.
