Hotel Arnika

Excellent breakfast,excellent evening meal, lovely heat rooms spa etc, staff are lovely. The family owners bend over backwards to help. I have done two stays and hope to be back. Excellent value for money , ive stayed in larger posher hotels who havent come close on the quality. I cant say enough about the food.Bearing in mind the price.Some families in Austria just know how to do hospitality.

My family and another family stayed at Hotel Arnika for a recent ski holiday. All the staff were extremely helpful with any questions I had. The pre-check in process was quick and easy and made our arrival a lot smoother. The hotel is very clean and has a nice mix of modern styling with traditional decor. It’s located just a very short walk from the main centre of town. So we had no issues with noise. We stayed in a room that can accommodate a family of 4. The room is really spacious with the kids sleeping in their own beds. Room is modern and clean and the bathroom is large with twin sinks and a walk in shower. Very impressed with the rooms. Although they do get quite warm in there and we had to open the windows. Breakfast was great with a good choice of cooked options and cold cuts, bread and yoghurts. The afternoon snacks was nice and varied day to day. Dinner was of a very high standard. You get to choose from 3 different main dishes. The meals were great for adults but may be a little too fancy for the kids. There is a games room next to the dining room which was great for the kids to retreat to between courses. Overall a wonderful family owned and run hotel with spacious accommodation and really friendly owners and staff. We were so pleased with our stay we are looking to returning next year!

Family of 4 stayed at Hotel Arnika for 1 week back in January 2020 & we’re still talking about it to this day. We loved our stay here! The food, the friendly hospitality, the saunas, the location… all of it was absolutely superb! Would return in a heartbeat.

I arranged a boys ski trip to Ischgl in Feb 2024. 12 of us stayed at Hotel Arnika and had a fantastic experience. Arnika offers online pre-registration which makes the check in process very fast. We arrived at 11.30 off the early Gatwick flight, our rooms were ready and we were able to purchase ski passes immediately at reception. We were on the slopes by 1pm. The hotel is about 5 mins walk from all three main lifts up to the mountain - A1, A2 and A3. The hotel’s immediate surroundings are quiet, but in less than 10 mins you can be in Trofana Alm, Champagnehutte or Schatzi bar enjoying Ischgl’s legendary apres. The facilities are excellent. There is a sizeable locker room where you can store skis, boots and helmets. It has a separate entrance which makes it mega easy to enter/leave in ski boots. There is also a sauna and steam room which we didn’t use but looked very modern and clean. We only did half board so we didn’t eat our evening meals at Arnika, but the quality of the self-serve breakfast was good. Every member of staff was welcoming, helpful and efficient. It is a family run hotel and all the staff are clearly very passionate about making Arnika special. If you are coming to Ischgl, I highly recommend Arnika. It is excellent value for the price, especially when compared with other glitzier hotels near the town centre. We used the hotel’s recommended ski shop Ischgl Rent who were also very accommodating throughout our 4 day stay. We got a 15% discount booking online and in advance.

First time here with some friends who had been before. Good standard of accommodation & food very good. Very clean & convenient to the ski lift. Nice friendly staff although the maitre D’ a little overly familiar with guests.
