I used it on a day trip with people related to work. Food is the worst though. First, the abalone. The texture was not abalone. 日帰りプラ で義父の90歳誕生日祝いで 利用しました 毎年１、２回は利用しているので 安心はしていましたガ　 今回はがっかり 義父は天ぷらが 好きなので天ぷらが有るコースを予約しました 日帰りプランで天ぷらが有るのは １番高い8,800円のコースだけなので そのコースを予約しましたガ 天ぷらが無くて 天ぷらまだですか？と聞いたら 本日は天ぷらこ、の代わりに 蒸し物になりましたと言われ 茶碗蒸しが来ました はぁ！？！？ 天ぷらが欲しいから １番高いコースにしたのです 詐欺に有ったような感じ

自分で予約する時は大型旅館を避けているのですが、親戚の者の予約で昨年冬に宿泊し、今回は2回目の宿泊でした。前回はお料理もお造りなどがおいしかったし、スタッフの対応にも疑問を感じなかったので、印象も悪くはありませんでしたが、今回は食事の時の以下のようなスタッフの対応に疑問を持ちました。 　〇最初の中居さんは忙しかったのか、鍋、鮑、ステーキの3つにすぐに火を点けたい様子で、お料理の説明ではなく、その確認から始めたので、急かされているようでした。大型旅館ですから、一皿ずつ提供することは期待しませんが、ステーキは最初から置いておくのではなく、次の段階で提供してほしいです（これは中居さんの問題ではありませんが）。 　〇お造りが提供されてから次のお料理が届くまで30分ほど待たされ、確認をしたら、やっと持ってくるという状態でした。 　〇追加料理として馬刺しを2皿タブレットから注文したつもりでしたが、届かなかったので、若い女性スタッフに確認しました。しかし、20分も過ぎてから来て「注文されていない。7時を過ぎているので、注文できない」と言いました。こちらが送信ミスをしたのですが、20分も過ぎてから来て、そのようなことを平然と言うことに驚きました。他の旅館なら「注文されていませんでしたが、すぐにご用意いたします」という対応を取ると思いました。 　フロントの女性スタッフにお料理のことなど質問をした際、とても丁寧に対応してくれたので、ホスピタリティが高いスタッフもいるのだと思いますが、団体客が多い旅館なので、「団体客向けの対応で良い」と思っているスタッフが増えていて、サービスの質が落ちていると感じました。

宿泊当日、雪が降ってて待望の雪見露天風呂を堪能しました。 温泉とサウナは良かったです。 帰り際に、「冬のおもてなし」のパンフレットを貰って、家で特選料理コースの写真を見てたら、カニ味噌朴葉焼きが出ていなかった様なので電話をしたら、出ていないのを支配人も知らなかったとの事。（女将も知らない？） パンフレットに載せてる目玉料理の一つが、別の料理に変わったとか、宿泊者に説明が無いのですか？ 12月1日から始まったプラン、カニ味噌朴葉焼きが何時から提供されていなかったか、教えて下さい。 プレミアム（夢味膳）コースも未提供？ 売り上げ増加に貢献した料理長に、金一封ですね。 八幡屋の公式ホームページに、お客様の声を聞くコーナーを設置してはどうか？

車で行くならよいでしょうが、車を利用しない年配客にとってはかなり不便な場所にあり須賀川駅から市営のバスで５０分。しかも便数少ない。宿から磐城石川駅まで送迎バス有とのことを着いて知る。HPに記載あると言われたが見つけられず。 建物は加賀屋設計者が同じとのことで立派な吹き抜けロビー、シースルーのエレベーター、タオル類は部屋から持って行かないスタイル、岩盤浴サウナ、湯上りに置いてある冷たいお茶のサービス、趣向はよい。 肝心の温泉は温まるトロットした感じでよい。露天風呂はこの土地の石の石組が配置され基地のよう。 夕食は品数多いが、牛肉でも４枚も要らないからもう少し柔らかい上等なのが欲しい。センスがもう一つ。 朝食はバイキングで、これはなかなか印象のよい献立もあり美味しかった。 間際では予約が取れないのは、団体が多い宿で先に予約を取るからだそうで、これで納得。バイアフリーにも対応してるので、安心して３世代が行ける。 車に乗って行くのにはお薦めだが、年配者が交通機関で行くには適さない。それでもまた行きたいと思わせる宿になるために何か年配者向けのサービスを期待する。 茶室にお花が生けてあったが、遠くて見られず残念。聞けば生花だとの事。
