Good location near tram.

Normal hotel. The windows were small and overlooked the utilities, but daylight still penetrated into the bedroom. It did not penetrate into the other room. The bed linen was partly cotton, and the duvet cover was polyester (I do not like polyester). The location is not bad, but in the evening it was uncomfortable outside, during the day it was good. Wi-Fi worked poorly on the first evening, then ok.

I was left hanging at 11:30 p.m. in the reserved apartment Ünver Galata Apart. since there was no one at reception. I had to look in an inhospitable and dark neighborhood for a hotel for that first night and I booked it on site but when I arrived at this hotel they told me that the reservation was for the next night. They didn't give me my money back nor did they say they had a room. On the PC screen I saw numbers that looked like room numbers, in red but also quite a few in green… They charged me for the night and on top of that I had to look for another hotel…

It’s a good accommodation with good facilities and friendly hosts.

Hotel location is excellent. Galata Tower and Galataport are within walking distance. But the cleanliness is unfortunately disappointing. The hotel is old and in disrepair. Primarily cleaning and then renovation is a must.

Stayed here in December for work. very comfortable and clean hotel. the friendly receptionist Mesut helped me check in, gave me useful tips and recommendations about Istanbul, and when I checked out, he helped me call an inexpensive taxi to the airport. I will be back in January for sure.

Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. Great and helpful staff , most spacious rooms and comfortable beds . Amazing location close restaurants , Galata tower and tram . I highly recommend this hotel .

The hotel is located just a feed steps far away from taksim square , port , tram etc. The room was big enough or 2 person . Staff was helpful and always ready to solve problems . Stayed there with wife for a short break. I definitely recommend it.

It was not as reviewed. The rooms were not clean .it had smoking smell. They gave me a room on the 6th floor which didn’t have elevator. Unfortunately it ruined my vacation. The ac’s were not working. The bathrooms were not clean. And the sheets were not clean too.

Great location and service! We were close to everything we wanted to see in Istanbul. We were able to walk to a lot of the places as well. Literally beside the main road and tran line BUT you do not hear the noise from the room. The only downside was that the wifi’s signal wasn’t great at times but it still worked. The room was very spacious and the couches were comfortable.

We have stayed at Galata world hotel for 10 nights , I really admire the height quality of service also the staff were amazing and very helpful with booking the transportation in and out of the airport. The location of the hotel is one of the best location in Istanbul , it’s 1 minute to the tram and 5 minutes to Galata tower also it’s walking distance to nightlife and best restaurants in Karaköy area .
