So I came here from Tokyo without much preparation, but I found that Izu didn't need you to do anything. This is a place to relax and purify your soul. There are not many homestays and restaurants in the village. I was very lucky to meet the proprietress of this homestay. I came to greet us when I got off the bus and felt like I was back at home. Also help with luggage, the hot spring schedule is also very reasonable, the use of mountain spring water, very moist and warm, the room is a tatami with traditional Japanese style, very warm and retro, here at about 8 o'clock in the evening, the village began to be quiet, after dinner, take a walk on the mountain road blowing the hair back to the hotel to rest, In the morning, I woke up and opened the window to breathe fresh air. I ordered a Shanghai big dumpling made by my aunt herself with fried dough sticks. I listened to the story of my aunt’s decades of business in Japan. The happiness was full. The room is an apartment-style suite, including 2 bedrooms, 1 living room with kitchen and dining table. It is very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is on the mountain, about 800 meters away from the nearest bus stop. There are few buses. The hotel provides scheduled free shuttle service to and from Izu Plateau Station, but the hotel shuttle bus needs to be booked by phone one day in advance. The hotel's hot spring pool is good, where you can soak in the hot spring and enjoy the sea view. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, and the nearest convenience store is about 1.7 kilometers away.

Kira no Sato is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Japan, period. I’ve never stayed in a traditional Japanese style hotel but it totally blew my mind. The gardens, onsen, guest rooms, restaurants…everything’s exquisite. It is like an onsen theme park. 5-star service the minute since you got on the hotel’s shuttle bus. There’s stairways leading up to my room. Hotel staff offered to help me on their own. The room is mainly made of wood but it is kept in excellent condition. The bed is large and soft. The food beats 90% of Japanese hotels I’ve stayed in.

It is not a star and a half that can drive than take a bus (so this is why most of the guests here are Japanese?), Otherwise, basically I can take a taxi to solve the three or four kilometers from the station to the hotel and the hotel to Dashishan. But all this is still worth it to me, because Dashishan is so beautiful, and the hotel experience is also very good! Anyway, this is where I have money and I will come back and stay at this hotel.

This was probably the best experience i had during my visit to Japan. The ryokan feels authentic yet luxurious, the service id amazing. The personnel speaks english very well. The room was just what we wanted, very spacious, tatami floors, a balcony with a city view. We even had a little bath that you could fill with water from the hot spring. The dinner was exquisite, very authentic and delicious. The breakfast was just as good, although the amount of fish dishes might be a little overwhelming for foreigners. The best part though was obviously the onsen. The cable car that takes you to the onsen really added to the experience. We had the chance to go in the evening and in the morning. Both times there were no other people. It was raining in the morning and i definitely recommend going to the onsen while it rains if you get the chance. After checking out we were offered a ride to the station by the owner, and we had a nice chat on the way. So i absolutely recommend this ryokan, i wish we stayed longer

The hot spring is on the top floor, with indoor and outdoor areas. Although it is small, it has everything. It is very quiet and comfortable. There is also unlimited beer and ice cream. Service: The service of Hoshino is naturally impeccable, but I ordered a massage in the room. To be honest, the technique is average.
