"The room is very good. The historic old house is the best location overlooking the Mesopotamia Plain. The night view is great. The shower water is very large. It is very comfortable. The only thing for me is that the address is difficult to find and there are many steps to walk. I am exhausted. The boss's service is very very very. Okay, always do everything you can to help me."

"This is what my friend Lulu writes about our stay at Şems Inn Hotel (I'm adding her pictures):
Having one of the best stays with my best friend at this cute, vibrant hotel. The interior view is absolutely beautiful and feels so exotic to me coming from China—like a little oasis tucked away from the world.
The people here are incredibly warm and lovely, which makes the whole experience even more special. Don’t forget to check out the artwork on the walls—the owner is actually the artist behind it, which adds such a personal and creative touch.
This is definitely a stay you don’t want to miss if you want to truly elevate your experience. I already know that whenever I think about Sem, it will bring a smile to my face."
The historical structure, estimated to have been built in the 12th century, is constructed using alternating layers of cut and rubble limestone, characteristic of Mardin. The facade facing the street to the south features corbels formed by corbels. The building has a U-shaped form and retains its original character with rich ornamentation and decoration. Entrance to the building from the south facade is through a low arch within a niche formed by a pointed arch adorned with geometric motifs, supported by columns. It consists of three wings: east, west, and north. Circular iwans are located in the east and west wings. There are units on the right and left of each iwan. These spaces, with a cross-vaulted roof system, are oriented on a north-south axis. The windows of these units are rectangular in shape, set within niches formed by segmented arches. Drop motifs are present in the spaces between the windows. The units in the north wing are accessed through a low-arched entrance set within niches formed by segmented arches. Window forms are rectangular structural elements located within niches created by pointed arches resting on columns.

"Located in the middle of Old Mardin, in a very beautiful location. The rooms are nice and the view from the terrace is great.
(I think it would be smoother to check the hotel in advance because the picture of the room seems to be basically displayed the same thing in any room plan)
The shower was easy to use and the dryer was powerful.
Breakfast was also good enough. Rather, there are some kinds of side dishes that obviously cannot be eaten, so I left a large amount every morning and felt it was a waste. I wish I could get as much as I needed.
Also, it may be difficult in Turkey, but I would appreciate it if you could make the breakfast venue non-smoking.
It was a pity that I couldn't relax in the shared space because all the staff smoked indoors.
However, there is no problem other than that, the location and atmosphere are really nice, and there is no doubt that it is a comfortable hotel."
