This is one of the best options to stay in Jaffna. It’s not in the city centre, more on the outskirts of the city , there’s nothing around, so you basically plan your time in the resort. The hotel itself is nice , the rooms look a bit old but clean , there was no hot water in our room. The territory of the hotel is beautiful with the pool , restaurant, little museums to visit (ex bunkers). The food in the restaurant is yummy , the staff is friendly and polite, especially Scotty , he was very helpful and nice to us during our stay. Good experience at this hotel, just the water situation in the rooms should be improved.

Had 3 wonderful days in Jaffna and the Fox Resort made this location a memorable one! Lovely friendly staff throughout who can’t do enough for you. Set in lovely manicured gardens with a lovely pool area to relax in. The food was truly amazing and was so carefully prepared it was exceptional in every way!

Stayed in this hotel as part of our honeymoon, and we absolutely loved this place. I am a British Tamil and my wife is Portuguese, this was her first visit to Jaffna ,and my 3rd. Jaffna has changed a lot since the end of the war- thank God l, and you can see how it is improving slowly. This hotel is evidence of this and just loved the customer service, food and everything they could offer such as the Jaffna crab curry cooking demo and the tunnels below showcasing the LTTE and an art exhibition. Can't recommend this hotel enough if your staying in Jaffna, the food is great and the staff have impeccable customer service.

Renovated ancestral mansion located away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautifully designed with a touch of old charm and modern luxury. Well kept picturesque garden. We booked a heritage room which opens to the front courtyard. Spacious and comfortable room with necessary amenities. There was no shower cubicle and water splashes everywhere. Staff was kind enough to provide us with extra floor mats. Better to fix the problem permanently. Buffet was not that great and didn’t have much variety or authentic Jaffna food. Exceptional services by the restaurant staff. Apologies for not remembering their names. Highlight was the opportunity to visit traditional bunkers with impressive art work. Worth a visit. Even after three days, we were not able to use the pool or relax in nature due to heavy rain. Delightful stay but couldn’t enjoy it fully. Look forward to staying again ! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fox Jaffna to anyone visiting the area.

The place itself has a very warm and welcoming vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. A special thanks to Trevin and Amith for going above and beyond. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and definitely a 10/10!

Comfortable room with view of the pool. Very peaceful in the middle of a busy town. Great to cool off in the pool after seeing the sights. Highlight of our stay was our curry cooking lesson from our patient chef, great fun & very tasty. I would high Recommend this gem of a hotel.

I stayed a few nights at the resort. It is close to the main road so reaching it is easy. The room was cozy with a rustic look and all the amenities available. The breakfast buffet is great (love the warm milk they provide for tea/coffee) and I also enjoyed a late lunch in the traditional style. Their gardens are lovely. Above all, their service was fantastic. I had invited some friends for breakfast and the staff went above and beyond to ensure they had a great time. Thank you.

A very beautiful hotel with immaculate gardens and attentive and friendly staff. Quiet and comfortable rooms. A very clean pool. Limited variety of fruit and vegetables on offer for vegetarians, such that it would preclude a stay longer than 2 days.

Very nice Hotel and nice people speciellt Scoty god food and a nice pool and the room was terrific. We arrived the 11 th of nov and stayed for 2 nights and wish we could stay longer, but next time we will stay for longer time. So everything was just fine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's a very nice property, foods are very delicious, rooms are very clean and neat, air condition and wifi is working very properly, need a advertise for more indian, climate is comfortable but little hot, everyday enjoyed the pool. Specially thanks to Nithu at restaurant he take care us.

A lovely quiet relaxing stay. A hidden gem in the heart of a busy town. Friendly discreet staff. Good Northern Sri Lankan food. Clean excellent maintained room and grounds. We did a private vegetarian cooking class with Anupa which was excellent. Thank you.

Lovely boutique resort. Lacks a bar. Serves only wine and beer. Many of the staff very friendly. In particular Amit in the restaurant was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Had a cookery demo - chef was great. Made crab jaffna curry. Rooms are clean. USB didn’t work.

We went to the restaurant at Fox hotel and we met Nithu, he’s very nice person and very kind person we had a very good food and he gave us very tasty milk we enjoyed a lot. Nantri nithu will come again to see you ☺️ Richard and Alexia ☺️!!!!!!!!

This was booked by a friend and did not know about the resort until I reached there. First impression was fantastic and I loved the stay. The history, the culture, the cuisine and courteous staff was all blended into an amazing experience. This is a place I will recommend to any traveler to the Jaffna Peninsula as a must stay location. Easy to access and very safe. Looking forward to my next visit.
